Socialists Cause Problems In Downtown Baton Rogue

A pesky organization known as La libre circulation Travailleurs (LCT) has been causing a lot of problems in Baton Rogue. Whether it be worker's strikes at factories, vandalism on private property, or in some cases assaults, the LCT seems to feed off of ignorant anger and confusion. Making workers believe they are fighting to secure higher places in society (when in reality they are only fighting to loose their own jobs), they trick working class men and women into committing crimes. They claim these crimes are propaganda of the deed, and that each one gets them closer and closer to their goal. Of course their goal is complete and total Dictatorship.

His Majesty, King Henry III, said of the topic;

"...[W]hat I don't understand is why they have to commit such violent and unnecessary crimes. Why can't they do what everyone else with a political view does? Vote for like minded candidates, or become a candidate themselves. That is why the far-left does not get a legitimate hold among the citizens of Lafayette. Because the majority of us do not wish harm upon each other."

It seems that the only ignorant here is King Henry, if he truly believes that a system of oppression and exploitation can be abolished by participating in said oppression and exploitation.

World Slipping Into Chaos

As the Old Continent slips into terrorism, war, and constant violence, Lafayette remains safe. Michael Babin, CEO of Lafayette Sécurité, said of the subject in a recent press conference;

"Our corporation has always kept the people of Lafayette safe and able to sleep in their own homes. We assure the populace that we will be continuing this tradition even as the world becomes more dangerous to live in by the hour. Our weekly arrest count has doubled since last month, but that is merely because of how many more attempts on the average citizens life there has been lately. We have recently upgraded our force, with new men, new weapons, and new technology. Security cameras are cheaper and more affordable nowadays, and allow us to make sure we never miss a crime. Of course we are not going to turn into some Big Brother type of company, we put those cameras in place with the best of intentions, and do not plan on spying or snooping in on citizens' personal lives. Thank you, that is all."

Treaty of Colfax Signed

The Isaern Duke, Eadgar Hravn, who is the ambassador of Isaern in Lafayette, has recently finalized the Treaty of Colfax with Council of the Worker's Henry Dubois. The treaty has made official the friendship between the two nations, and will ensure we defend each other, trade with each other, and each prosper.
