[ooc; Short and Concise post, which isn't typically my style, but I'm not the player who's nation is hosting that meeting, so Eireann can pipe in with stuff describing the place we're meeting at, i'm just starting the thread and the arrival of he Warreic delegation. ]

Four quite diverse figures moved towards their seats at the negotiation table, an elderly and wiry man who's long and randomly braided grey hair, along with his mahogany tuxedo, would be clearly recognizeable as the venerable and elderly High King of Warre, Therran Ui Tyrell, the Fifth. Following him was a dark haired young military man, who seemed to be jetlagged from his disheveled hair and the bags under his eyes. Any attention to the Warreic news would have shown that he was the Chancellor of Defense, and Warreic media darling- Ceith MacAodh. There was something about his facial structure that seemed vaguely reminscent of the High King, but with the burly barrell of a man, with a thick beard that followed the mahogany officer's uniform dressed young man, there wasn't much to think, as the barell chested man slammed notes on the table, scrambling to get out of the way of a dark skinned [perhaps even nethlian] man whom was wearing a simple grey tuxedo, and seemed almost ignorable, if not for the woad tattooed across the left side of his face. The markings of his tribe, which were something he wore as happily as his he carried his Warreic passport. His was an unknown, but the other man must be Herald MacRaibert.

Caisleán Bhaile Átha Cliath
Átha Cliath, Éireann

Átha Cliath Castle was first founded as a major defensive work on the orders of High King, Brian mac Ruaidri Uí Néill in 1204, when it was commanded that a castle be built with strong walls and good ditches for the defence of the city, the administration of justice, and the protection of the treasures of Éireann. Though High King Brian mac Ruaidri died in 1224, his son, Donnel mac Brian Uí Néill, saw to the castle's completion in 1230 had the administrative seat of the High Kingdom moved there from Caisleán Teamhrach, in Dún Seachlainn, though the later would still remain the ceremonial seat of the Árd Rí na hÉireann,

Though the castle was added onto during the succeeding centuries, especially during the 18th, much of the castle was damaged during the Hyborean War by bombs and fire, mostly during the Second Battle of Átha Cliath, and most of what can be seen today is from the extensive rebuilding and renovation since that war. Though the architecture and decor had been faithfully reproduced, it was seen to that the castle would have all the modern conviences and necessities to run a modern government and with its state-of-the-art facilities is a perfect place for Seán mac Pádraig Ó Néill, High King of Éireann, to mediate the meeting between the High King of Warre and the Prime Minister of Batavia.

The government's 747 jumbo jet, painted in the blue livery of KLM Airways for security purposes, touched down on the rainy afternoon. Exiting the plane and escorted to the cite of the talks were Prime Minister Alfons Diepenbrock (ironically on his first foreign trip since becoming the new PM), Minister of Foreign Affairs Arjan van Vliet (infamous for being the only senior-level Minister of the former De Graaf regime to remain in power after the collapse) and a host of interpreters, aides and so forth. One of the chief aides, whom the PM was keen on for his ever excellent work, was actually a member of Vepo (Veiligheidspolitie), the country's very powerful intelligence agency. Even Diepenbrock did not know that his right hand man was actually a professional spy. But, as was typical of Vepo, they wanted their piece of the pie now matter how official it was.

The delegation was large, but everyone seemed cheerful despite the weather and agenda of the meeting. The PM and Van Vliet were chuckling at some jokes made by the aides. They had already been briefed on the roughly two hour plane trip over from Vlaanderen. As they arrived at the Castle, they were greeted by their Northern Council friends. A few of the aides spoke in English, but the rest of the delegation would conduct themselves in German or Swedish, or perhaps their native Dutch via interpreters if their counterpart were not profficient in the other two Germanic tongues.

The High King of Éireann, Seán Ó Néill, sat at his customary spot at the head of the table while the Warreic and Batavians sat along each side facing one another. The High King had chosen the smallest of the castle's formal dinning rooms to act as the site for the meeting rather than one of the conferrence room for several reasons. One it was large enough that all could be seated. Two, they would have to face each other. Three, if thing fell apart, they could be ushered out seperate door and not have to cross pathes again, at least not on Éireann soil. The High King stood to address those present.

"Your Majesty...Your Excellency...honored guests, I welcome you to Caisleán Bhaile Átha Cliath. You have come here to honorably settle a dispute, one that has the potential to cause a great grief and loss of life if it continues down the path it has been taking. As you have agreed to meet here, I am confident that you will find common ground where upon a solution that both you and your peoples will be satisfied with."

"Now, who wishes to make an opening statement?"
