Islamists Angered by anti-Muslim laws.
Tensions rise as the members of the Novozeleni-e-Islami threaten that if they are not given the right to practice their religious laws autonomously that they will seek for more radical means of convincing the state allow them to self govern. This is in response to President Fyodorov cracking down on non-Christian religions in Zelenyrus, with the Price for Religious Freedoms act, which imposes a tax upon any religious organization that is not the official state religion. Prime Minister Vadimovich remarked to the Council of the Provinces that these taxes could easily be payed and those who were complaining were "greedy, emotional little leeches."
The vote for making the Blad mountain range its own province, an area that would be a majority Muslim Zelenyrossiyan province if created, has been turned down by the Governors of the Council of the Provinces for the third time. This only proves the futility of Novozeleni-e-Islami's efforts, but they swear they will not stop until a Muslim owned and governed province is created.
