Proudly celebrating and serving the Kassiopeian, and World Workers Revolution since the resounding victories of the Kassiopeian War of Self-Determination, The Honest Advocate is based in the waterfront district of Dugout, the second-most populace settlement in the Upper Miskatonic River Delta. Founded and maintained by the sons and daughters of the Union's first Revolutionary Journalists, it is the mission of The Honest Advocate is to educate the free world about the struggles and triumphs of the anarcho-collectivist movement in northern Himyar- most commonly pertaining to Kassiopeia, and expound upon the truest of all Revolutionary values, which would best serve the oppressed workers of the world not fortunate enough to live by self-determination and solidarity.

Where capitalists, reactionaries and all enemies of the Revolutionary Ideal fear to tread, the journalists of The Honest Advocate will ever go, extolling the virtues of unchained democracy and self-expression- and where necessary taking up the proactive defense of those same virtues. The most heinous of crimes, and the most ecstatic of triumphs- and everything in between- are our business, and our gift to you.

A more virtuous and unbiased accounting of what makes the Revolutionary Mind tick in this humble Union will not be found, and we invite you to express your fundamental support of the collective labors of the People and Workers of the International Community by continuing your support, both moral and tangible in whatever form you find yourself capable of.

The first night of the 34th Annual World Polyamorist Association's Convention is well underway in Dugout, the celebratory lights of which could hardly be ignored by anyone lucky enough to be atop the waves on the Bay of Nariño in these balmy hours. Convened by special the guest-speaker, Sassei Gódauleauvich, the Cantigny-Case Specialist of the Kassiopeian Union of Prostitutes- recently thrust into the public spotlight by her vociferous defense of one Ms. Colette Hewitt of Cantigny, Gódauleauvich implored the audience to take the lessons offered there to heart.

"It takes only the uncharacteristically brutal actions of a few hateful old men, free from the necessity of honest labor by the unappreciated toiling of the people and workers, to entrench and enforce outrageously outmoded and downright tyrannical views on such obvious topics as gender roles and sexuality on the masses. Never, under any circumstances, accept that we in Kassiopeia, or Carentania are free from such a damnably avoidable situation...it will take the constant efforts and vigilance of all able-bodied and minded persons to maintain the unique freedoms that we enjoy," Gódauleauvich was quoted as saying.

Also discussed during tonight's session was the broadening role, and understanding of the nature of transgender persons in Revolutionary Society. As one of the most visible assertions of self-determination, and self-expression, transgender persons are savagely abused in many societies around the world, particularly those self-described as religiously fundamental, mainly in Christian and Muslim societies which tend towards bitter reaction to begin with. The reversal of this nearly universal policy of ignorant barbarity will take the diligence of enlightened people for many years to come, but the World Polyamorist Association has made it very clear that they are more than willing to take up this cause, and see it through to a humane resolution.

A spokesperson for the Custodians of the Revolution have indicated that armed clashes with N'koda tribal counter-revolutionaries continue in the Great Abysmal Swamp, marking the third week of this most recent flair-up. Having begun with an unprovoked attack on a Custodial Training Cadre in the region, the "brush fire" has escalated to include four settlements, primarily devoted to the production or rice, along the northeastern rim of the Union's largest wetland.

The fighting has claimed the lives of seven Custodians thus far, and an estimated forty self-styled N'koda "freedom fighters," with a number of collateral civilian injuries. Major Abdoulaye Adichie, the commanding officer tasked with the de-escalation of this flare-up has indicated that the N'koda are complicating the situation by attempting to use children and hostages taken from the aforementioned rice-production settlements as human shields. These abhorrent tactics have, however, only strengthened the resolve of the Custodians to conclude this situation as quickly as possible, with all due finality.

Citizens of the 8th Street Committee of Correspondence of Port Iago, have announced plans to hold a cultural festival celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Kassiopeian Independence. Dubbed "Rhythm for the Revolution," this festival would feature what can only be described as an all-star assembly of the greatest performers of our age, including the Scarabs, pioneers of the "revolutionary-rock" genre, DJ Libertad, and the Kassiopeia City Jazz Ensemble.

The 8th St. CoC has already secured the support of the Port Iago Crabbers and Prawners Union, the Western Glassworker's Association, and the Miskatonic Avenue CoC of Dugout, and the Northwestern Corridor Oilers Combine but ask that any and all labor-collectives and citizens' councils, and individual Custodial units volunteer their time and resources as they are available to ensure that this festival lives up to the heritage that our Revolutionary Grandparents, the Union they fought to create, deserve.

Confederation of Labor Leaders "Not Impressed" With Solaris Bravado

Capping off several weeks of discussion concerning possible increases in benefits awarded to union and syndicates members that also contribute to local militia and citizen's watch groups, a number of KCL leaders granted Honest Advocate correspondent Alexandra Ogomudia an impromptu interview, where a number of current affairs issues, such as the resurgence of the Christian fundamentalist-fascist state, Solaren, the continuing oppression of the people and workers of the Far-East were discussed, and the sudden increase in the profile (and cooperation, apparently) of a number of RDTO members and ideologically aligned states (such as the Jurzan) were discussed.

Though reticent to make any official blanket statements on behalf of the Kassiopeian Congress of Labor, or any other Union-wide organization, none of the KCL leaders that spoke with Ogomudia had any problems expressing their own personal opinions on these matters. The issue of growing Solaris bombasticism was of particular interest to all, but most particularly Owoye Danjuma, the sitting representative of the powerful Puerto Iago Shipping Syndicate, an organization that handles an estimated 58% of all Kassiopeian maritime trade.

"Though we are confident in the ability of the Custodian Maritime-Defense Force to handle any direct or indirect threats to the flow of goods in or out of the Union, it is still of no small aggravation to me that yet another would-be bully from the North, this time the most morally reprehensible sort, is attempting to cow the people and workers of Himyar. For whatever reason, the reactionary tyrants that hold sway in Torrence think that the silence of our Carentanian friends, and most likely the silence of the Union's own major organizations, is a sign of weakness. On the contrary, it should provide them with a clear statement: that we are only slightly bemused at their attempts to assert their own importance on the international stage after so many years spent in silent, isolationistic squalor." Danjuma was quoted as saying, in the hallmark cigar-leveled baritone that so many familiar with the Puerto Iago docks have come to recognize.

"If it does indeed prove necessary, say as a result of the interruption of goods exchanges between RDTO members, and those states and organizations closely aligned with us, I am sure that the Custodians and the Carentanian Commissariat of Defense will be capable of handling the issue with little fuss."

The recent seizure of a Sinhese freighter, the IHN Tukka Tor by Carentanian forces was also discussed, with the overwhelming consensus being that it was a long overdue move. With the oppression of free-thinkers and free-lovers becoming more apparent Sinhai, which is but one amongst many of the Far-East's imperial states, it is perhaps more shocking that no other state counted amongst the International Left hasn't taken a more active interest in these matters beforehand. Vangala was mentioned by name as being a lukewarm revolutionary state, with little to no concern for the plight of the oppressed around the world- and according to some, no concern for the plight of their own people, who are likewise seen as oppressed- and doubly so, considering the supposed "communist" nature of its government.

Christopher Martin Salihu, one of the "up and coming" thinkers in the Kassiopeia City Information and Technology Combine, linked all of these recent developments together as an illustration of the increasing readiness of the people and workers of the world for the next great leap into a wider Revolution, "one that has been sorely needed for decades."

"Economic systems that had been thought impossible to alter, societal norms that were thought eternal, and ideological movements that were long considered unassailable are crumbling and caving around the globe, leaving a vacuum in the hearts and minds of the people- a vacuum that is clearly best filled with systems, ways of living- ideologies that have their best interests and broadest freedoms in mind from the very start..." Salihu said, nearing the end of the talk, "...and we now have the tools and the resources to act upon the impulses that all of us here in the Union, and the RDTO, have long had. To bring freedom, true and unadulterated, to every corner of the world."

The attention devoted to the Sacred Kingdom is flattering, but we do not succumb the mortal vanities of man. Nor do we give into the delusions of the damned. Those who rest amongst the infernor will always try to pass themselves off as a superior power, capable of challenging the giants of the world. Unfortunately for Kassiopea, Carentania tried that already and Solaren exposed them for the pitiful paper tigers they were. Kassiopea, like other members of the communist cabal will see their lands aflame as the forces of divine liberation swarm their shores all in good time. Until then it should focus its attention on trying to improve the souls of its people so maybe, just maybe they will not share the fate as the millions of other sinners who serve as a blight on Europes' many landmasses.

TO THE PRINCES AND CHIEFS OF THE UNION OF KASSIOPEIA​

It is to be expressed, upon instruction of Her Engellexic Majesty;

The population of Kassiopeia is in general radically corrupt, or inapt and incapable of giving a shadow of support to the progress of democracy and civilisation in the Union of Kassiopeia, and the attempts made to form a mirage depicting progressive and successful ideologies, and to establish the perception that an organised military force, fit to engage globally at the moment of probable conflict, have been entirely fruitless.

The doctrines which were made to prevail under the influence of an usurped power, have succeeded in the time devoted to the spread of corruption, the revolutionary propaganda have so perverted the ideas and sentiments of the people of Kassiopeia, longing for a self-determined democratic civilisation, that the Confederation of Labour Leaders might at a critical moment find itself abandoned, and a focus for the hatred of those passions which manifested itself against the system of imperial rule.

But, though it may be easy to signalise threats, it is not so easy to parry or devise means against them; and it is just on this important matter that the Cabinet of Her Engellexic Majesty calls the whole attention of the Confederation of Labour Leaders.

The mode which would best guarantee our joint interests would be the removal, or absence altogether, of inappropriate statements that would conspire sovereign states in Europe to war. Has the leaders not a vital interest and solemn duty to guarantee access of trade for the Union, and above all, the stability of the state against any revolutionary movement which might resusctate a new fire in Kassiopeia, not even sparing the perpetrators of those perverse ideological doctrines?

If the Confederation of Labour Leaders have been desirous of establishing difficulties that would work against free trade, there is no reason why Her Engellexic Majesty’s Royal Navy should continue to stay in Great Engellex, where its absence may become a source of danger to the security of Engellexic shipping.

Commissariat of Security to Increase Patrols Along Southern Border

[FONT=&quot]Speaking from the steps of the Custodial Mission in the far-southern commune of Sahelopeia early last night, Commissar Yahya Orizu announced the intention of the South-Sahel Special Administrative Collective to fortify patrols along the territory's southern border- also marking the Union's southern border- with the troubled nation of Trans-Nineveh. The main concerns expressed as the reasoning behind this fortification were that the increasingly erratic behavior of the "strongman in Ko-i-Noor" could unnecessarily complicate the already delicate balance of power between the settlers tribes of the region, only a few of whom have willingly accepted integration into the Revolutionary-Progressive society of the Union.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]With ever more development in this remote corner of the Union, primarily based around the zinc deposits discovered in the northern foothills of the Kush Range in 2003, a key factor in the overall economic genesis of the South-Sahel could well be endangered if the violence plaguing the land just across the border escalates further, and spreads north. Intertribal blood feuds, which had all but disappeared from even this most "traditional" of the Union's constituent-collectives, have been on the increase in the past several years, with an estimated 28% of all annual deaths in the South-Sahel now attributed to grievances that originated in Trans-Nineveh and were imported and imprinted upon corresponding groups within Kassiopeia.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]With local Union and CoC militias and citizen's watches apparently compromised by "Islamist reactionary elements" Commissar Orizu was forced to request additional support from the Commissariat of Security in September of 2009, "to ensure the integrity of the Revolution in the South-Sahel." Though there have been no large-scale tribal conflicts in the intervening period, Orizu stated that he "thought it best not to take any chances and be as prepared for every possibility, especially when considering the colonialist-imperialist rhetoric being spouted by the crazy whites in that oppressors' clubhouse everyone insists on calling the Council of Nations." [FONT=&quot]It is believed that the "elite" XV Voltigeurs Special Support Group, headquartered in Itonga, is preparing for the transfer to the South-Sahel, to augment the combat readiness of the II Light (Mountain) Infantry Brigade that is already garrisoned south of Sahelopeia. When queried on the exact specialty of the XV Voltigeurs, the Honest Advocate's chief Custodial analyst in Dugout noted that they began their existence as "more or less true Voltigeurs in the northern military tradition, but have, in more recent years become a sort of quick response force- working in tandem with some of the best helicopter crews in the Union. "As I said, the Custodians think it best not to play fast and loose with the future of the people and workers of the Union, or of Himyar. Though the pimps and rapists of the north and east still think of us as simple beasts, economic assets to be exploited, we are here to prove them wrong. Himyar is for its people- its native daughters and sons, and no others. If this means that we must safeguard those same people from their own leaders- who we would just as soon call brother and sister if they would but do right- leaders who are so careless or greedy as to invite the pimps and rapists back, then so fucking be it."[/FONT]
