When Evarist enterd his house, he found his three children at home. "School is suspended", little Antoinette cheered. "Many children and teachers were absent". Evarist didn't like it at all. Being a bus driver, he had noticed it has been a quiet day. Not many passengers...

Evariste was late for evening mass. The weather was bad again. The church looked empty. Normally, there are three services on saturday night with around 200 people for every mass. Now, only some 35 people gathered in the house of worship. The voice of the priest sounded very strange, in this big, cold building. Evariste shivered.
