The Wadestone Post's first issue was published on December 16, 1917 to mourn the one year anniversary of Queen Sofia I's tragic death. Her Highness Sofia II ordered The Wadestone Post be established shortly before. The newspaper is, as none other in Sheridan can claim, owned by the Royal Family itself. It is also one of few papers that is distributed throughout Sheridan. From the Kurdish Green Sea Coast to the capital of the nation itself.
The Wadestone Post also prints in all five of Sheridan's official languages. Each issue not only gets you important national and international news, but also personal local news written in a city of each province and the capital(The capital shares its local news with the rest of Wadestone Island).
