After a long night in the Great Hall, the Emperor entered his good humor and laughed a lot with the jokes of High King Roberto. But the Emperor decided to go to sleep because he was not that young boy.
On the way he bumped with Prince Ludwig of Eiffelland in the corridors of Fort Bonifacio..

"Prince Ludwig, how nice to see you ... here? If you are looking for the Great Hall, is at the Fort Ausgustus... My Imperial Father used to say that this part of the Palace have many bathrooms!... God Night Your Highness" said the Emperor.

The Cœurlois Queen and Queen Dowager were settled in their suite. Marie was captivated by Prince Luigi. Was it love at first sight, or the crush of a young monarch? Regardless, she knew the careful eyes of her grandmother watched her closely. She could try and approach the prince before she returned to Merteuil. Perhaps in the garden?

Heiliger Himmel, Ludwig thought, the gossip here goes faster than in a gay bar.

And he was shocked. This couldn’t mean anything else than that that Aurarian Royal who caught him napping with Francisco had told about them. At least to the Emperor. Ludwig didn’t have to fear his own family, but the situation could be different for other Royal Families.

“Thank you, Your Imperial Majesty. Indeed, I was lost,” he said with a neutral voice and a neutral face. A face hiding a brain that worked on high speed. Luckily, Ludwig didn’t blush that soon. “I widh you a good night as well.”

OOC: Heiliger Himmel = Holy Heaven, which leads to “Good Heavens”. A German colleague of mine once used “Heilige Scheisse” as swear, which means litterally “Holy shit”. I don’t know if that colleague is the only German who uses that swear, but one way or another I have the feeling that it is used more often. “Heiliger Himmel” is my variant on that.

And sorry Tiburtina.
