Ivan has been confirmed to have been killed in the explosion that took his life as well as several members of his personal guard. How the explosives were planted and whom is responsible has still yet to be determined or the very least released yet to be released. Konstantin as the surviving son of their father, and heir apparent has stated he plans to return to Kremlyov for the coronation as soon as possible but will assume ruling from the capital if Ivanist forces pledge their fealty to his position as the Emperor.
