Minhdao has every right to practice these war games to get better prepared for any sort of conflict targetting our nation. These war games and the ballistic missile tests are for defence purposes only.

We applaud the efforts undertaken by Minhdao to nationalise their healthcare system. While there are still many differences between our two nations we have just seen a major leap forward.

Minhdese War Games "A Success"

On November 17th of this month, the Chuthe government had already begun preperations for their war games; mainly those for the Air Force and the testing of the new M-300 ballistic missile, made here in Minhdao. Today, the government was pleased to announce that what is called one of the "largest war games" was a complete success, says Lực lượng không quân General Trenh Nguyen. The Air Force games went off without a hitch under the watchful eye of our High Chairman and Defence Minister Senior General Hien Suu Khan.

Though the games were successful and entertaining for communities in the area, some in the international community didn't warm-up to the idea of the ballistic missile tests which did go underway after the air games. Nations such as Shinryeo condemned the war games in fear of it being a threat to their own national security. Vangala called for a complete shut-down of the missile tests; a statement that our High Chairman didn't take into consideration. "They said we are bringing tention and misery to Toyou and Serindia, when in fact it is but a simple operation to ensure our national security. Minhdao has an air force to be proud of and it is our right to exercise them as we see fit." the Air Force Commander commented today. "As for the tests, our missiles were fired in the sea to the northeast and at a completely safe distance from Shinryeo."

Bound For Taishan

Our High Chairman and Defence Minister Senior General Hien Suu Khan is northeastern-bound to meet Speaker Zhang Wei of the nation of Taishan. Despite the two very different state ideologies; them being communism and the ideal of Chuthe, it seems that Hien Suu Khan and Zhang Wei have some glimmer of admiration for one another which may smoothen the talks and hopefully open new doors between our two countries, respectively.

Despite of some international call for Taishan not to associate itself with Minhdao, General Khan is said to have landed in Pandong, Taishan along with other ministers and personal protection agents. Some of the issues rumoured to be on the table as a part of Taishan's international peace tour are the promotion of both national ideologies as well as protection against western imperialism. This is the first communist nation that General Khan has agreed to visit in his years of being head-of-state. He also hopes to open up the borders to bilateral trade and border security.

Autumn Land Management Under Way

The autumn campaign of land management is going on throughout the People's Chuthe of Minhdao. The capital city of Diengam is directing great efforts to facelifting streets, parks, pleasure grounds and residential quarters, re-facing public and apartment buildings with coating materials and improving roads. In Lung Chuoi Province main roads extending several dozen kilometers have been constructed or reconstructed and the banks of the River Hochi revetted to prevent flood damage.

Yanhoi City, Muc Dich Province, has renewed its appearance as required by Chuthe era, and carried out an embankment project of 35,000 cubic meters along the River Hainan to protect farmland from flood. Mao Mo Province, which has created oil-bearing chestnut tree (Xanthoceras sorbifolia) forests covering a thousand and several hundred hectares and built tree nurseries in many areas in recent years, is taking the lead in the effort for turning the whole country into a thick woodland and greenery. Such undertakings as tree planting, seedling cultivation, railroad reinforcement and bank revetment have made headway in Thinh Vuong, Bac Dat and other provinces.

Chuthe Idea, The Only Guiding Idea of the Time

The members of the Chuthe and high Buddhist monks held a symposium on December 1 and highly praised the immortal Chuthe idea, said State-radio Voice of National Salvation. At the symposium on the theme "present situation and future of the movement for changes" high chairman Gen. Hien Khan delivered a keynote report, which was followed by speeches of some members. The reporter and speakers said the Chuthe idea founded by the members of the current Chuthe present and past and steadily developed in depth by the current government is the truth whose revolutionary significance has already been proved through history and the only guiding idea of the time with universal justification.
The idea is a compass for the revolutionary movement which indicates the correct road to independence, democratisation and national stability and it is the maxim of the struggle and life that should be cherished by activists all the time. They will, in the future, too, conduct an energetic activity to propagate the idea among people from all walks of life and apply it in the revolutionary movement as a whole and push ahead with the movement for changes in Serindia and Toyou.

Rice Transplantation Begins

Rice transplanting has begun in rural areas in the eastern coasts of Minhdao. Farms of Lungchoi and Mattroi plains are now operating rice-transplanting machines at full capacity while putting harrowing and major farming work ahead of transplantation. Having worked out concrete daily plans for each field, they are effectively putting all processes into gear, ensuring the required number of plants for each six feet square and their stalks.

Sports Circles Brisk

Sports contests are now in full swing among school sports circle members in all cities and provinces of Minhdao. Their technical actions in ball games and field and track and gymnastic events are attracting the attention of experts. The sports contests are held among primary and secondary schools every year with a view to building up the physical strength of millions of schoolchildren and train them steadily to be sports reserves. Schools are attaching importance to specializing sports events. They are selected to suit their specific conditions. Promising students are involved in sports circles.
It was in 1986 that schools began to introduce specialization. More than 10,000 sports circles with about 410,000 members have been organized at primary and senior middle schools across the country. Circle activities help students acquire sports technique of at least one event and contribute to developing sports. Among them are some 30 people's and merited sportsmen and sportswomen and hundreds of masters of sports. Sports circles throughout the country serve as state sports reserve-training centers.

Chuthe Remodels Minhdao's Flag

After much planning, construction and investigation into the Minhdese identity culltural-wise, the People's Chuthe of Minhdao has gone through an entire revamp when it comes to the national flag and the representation of the home of the Minh people and the birth place of the Minh language. After the enveiling in Diengam on State-run television today at noon, the Bộ trưởng Bộ Văn hóa (Minister of Culture) Gen. Chau Loan spoke briefly to the media accepting no questions afterward. "It was high time for a change." he said. "The old flag was around since the Great War when the cowards of the former Phát xít clique were in control of Minhdao. This better represents us in modern society."

And represent us it does. Our dear leaders of the Chuthe have come up with this orange flag with a peacock in the center resembling the orange Minh skies of evening sunsets with the majesty of said peacock. On all capital buildings, monuments and even Minh homes, flags are being replaced with the new one as we speak. "I think it is brilliant." says Phing Mae, an average and hard-working diamond minor in a rural Minh village. "The peacock is our national animal and has a certain beauty about it unmatched by any other creature. It is only natural that Minhdao would be the nation to bare it as its insignia." The old version of the flags are permitted to be kept, but not suspended or displayed publically.

Nation Prepares for Minh-Sinese War Games

Locked, loaded and ready to go, the 3rd Infantry Division of the Lực lượng vũ trang (Armed Forces) - hand picked by the High Chairman and Defence Minister Snr. Gen. Hien Suu Khan - are ready to embark on a special training ops with our neighbours to the south in Sinhai. These War Games, as they were previously called, will be the first cooperative bilateral training exercise between Minhdao and Sinhai since the south's adoption of a new republican constitution.

These Games will serve as a strengthening of neighbourly ties not long after the meeting between Gen. Khan and Sinhai's Gen. Phiyada mere months ago. "We can never be too careful in Serindia." Gen. Khan briefly spoke today. "Minhdao is a force to be reconed with and cooperation with our equally powerful neighbours can be nothing short of progression for both sides."
These training regiments will include close and urban combat mission, deployment and of course crowd control.

Education Undergoes Improvement

The education system has been further consolidated and improved in the People's Chuthe of Minhdao this year. Advanced methods have been applied to political and ideological education and great achievements made in scientific and technological education. Many universities and colleges have included ultra-modern scientific and technological subjects in their education program, the contents and methods of education meliorated as required by the present time and a teleeducation system established throughout the country. Such things as computer, TV, video recorder and multimedia are used in teaching and experimentation and practice are based on in general education.

Electronic libraries have been built in many universities and electronic book reading rooms in colleges and secondary schools, with software introduced in education. Meanwhile, such events as a national software contest of university students, the 3rd national IT exhibition of university students and the 11th national software exhibition of educational institutions were held to popularize good experience gained by some educational institutions.
