Royal Family goes on Tour of Gallia and Scania
The family of King Emeric with his majesty himself are going on a tour of the nearby countries in the Gallia and Scania regions within the coming week. His majesty has said he has been desiring a break from politics for many years not long from the beginning of his reign. The royal family will be gone on their travels for two weeks and plan to visit @

. All matters that are placed under the king will be held by the legislation and prime minister until he and his family return. He has publicly said that he is not desiring any formal treatment in his visit to our neighbors but to be treated with his family as tourists. He will be however, be escorted by two guards at all times for his safety. If any of the officials of the specified countries would like to see him as he visits, they may send a message to the government to inform the king of anyone willing to see him and his family. He has also said this will also be a way for the current heir, Prince Andrew to see the current affairs of the regions and to learn how to deal with them if they ever come up within our own borders. May we pray for the family's safety during this trip and that when his majesty returns, the lands may be as beautiful as it should always be.

In Gouw Marken, the aristocracy, the clergy and cities upperclass have certain privileges, according to their rank and title.
Not acting acccording to the social status of whom is standing before you, is a crime for the lower classes.
Therefor every Markenese citizen will act as supposed to towards a royal.
As Gouw Marken and Ulandesa do not uphold diplomatic ties, and there is no embassy of Ulandesa in Markstad, the Prince-Bishop offers his personal summer residence in Kleine Briel, Kasteel Eikendal, with staff, to serve the Royal Family, at 15 km out of the city.

The royal family has gladly accepted the Prince-Bishop's offer. They have read the letter and researched on the customs of the nations they will visit, especially the regions. They understand what your people are accustomed to according to their traditions and will respect that. They do not want to be always treated like royalty, so they can experience the a part of the lives of the citizens, but if your people wish to do so, the royal family will accept it, and also, if the Prince-Bishop would like to talk with his highness, you may call him at any time during his visit. His highness is still very aware of his responsibilities and that he cannot and should not escape them entirely. We thank you for the offer.

[/FONT]Urgent Request of King to Cancel Trip
Due to recent events which have unfolded over the past week, the prime minister has sent an urgent letter to the king to head back to the capital and cancel their trip. With war soon to possibly break out, the royal family are at great risk, especially if attacks come to Bourgogne when they stay there. Any diplomatic decisions will be on pause until his majesty has returned and chooses what to do himself. Until then, the country will cut off from diplomatic affairs until his return, while the prime minister and the court handle domestic affairs and planning for possible war to come. Citizens are also warned to not travel to the countries involved in the tension for their own safety. For now, we will pray for peace and compromise between the great powers and hope for peace to remain in this world.

Protests Rampant
In thanks to the tension unfolding over the last week and lack of enforcement with the absence of the king, numerous protests have appeared over the kingdom urging the prime minister to declare a side. Many protest to join Kadikistan and equally as many wanted to join Bourgogne and their allies, some even desiring that the prime minister take charge and overthrow the monarchy declaring it 'too passive'. Many areas of towns and cities have gone to a halt in thanks to these protests, and several fires have burned through some neighborhoods. The prime minister has shown great concern over internal stability seeing how much tension was let loose by the events. With war averted, he could only hope things will soon settle down and that when the king returns in a few days, things will return to the way they were when he left.
