The update is finished, and although a lot of features do not work again yet or are not yet added (frontpage), I decided to put the page up again so that you can get a first impression.
There is a feature to create user albums which I have disabled for now. I will likely sooner than later disable the current image hosting but leave all images uploaded thus far on the server so that existing links are not broken. In the future you will then be able to use the image system directly built into the forum.
For now you can toy around with your new profiles, explore the new "social groups" features, the profile comments, friendship stuff and the like and edit your profile appearance to your liking. I have not ultimately decided on a policy regarding these features but it is likely that I will disable profile color changes and whatnot to maintain a more uniform appearance.
The thread tags and prefixes are also something which will most likely be gone except if there is strong public demand for this stuff. Again, I am asking for your input in this matter in this thread!
