EMERGENCY EXTENSION OF THE E.F. MANDATE SYSTEM FOR THE ANTARCTIC REGION

PREAMBLE
Recognizing the noble ideals striven for by the E.F. Resolution for the Abolition of the E.F. Mandate System, namely the right of all peoples to self-determination, not merely as a nominal value, but as a substantive reality including the power to control their own society, economy, culture, and policy, both domestic and foreign;
Noting that the circumstances of the Antarctic Region are a particularly thorny exception to these ideals, in that the population of roughly five-hundred non-native people whose professions are primarily of scientists and researchers dedicated to the preservation of the Antarctic for the purposes of science and environmentalism;
Recognizing that near unanimity among representatives of the member states of the European Forum, transcending ideology and form of government, dedicated to the preservation and protection of the Antarctic from exploitation, extraction, and colonization by any single power cannot be ignored;
Stressing that by allowing this exception to be unresolved the door to the establishment of military bases, the construction of damaging mining operations for deep resource exploration and extraction, and territorial claims by both state and non-state actors is irreversibly opened, profoundly increasing the chances of international conflict and crisis at a time when Europe already struggles with such plagues of peace and harmony;
Further noting that the Mandate for the Antarctic Region is set to expire on the 1st of January in the year 2022 CE, thereby increasing the urgency of the adoption of an emergency resolution to sufficiently address this crisis in the making that has already seen a narrow evasion of conflict;
THE NATIONS OF EUROPE, assembled in a Forum through their duly empowered Delegates, do hereby decide, decree, and ordain as follows:

EMERGENCY EXTENSION OF THE MANDATE SYSTEM FOR THE ANTARCTIC TERRITORY
- The territory currently constituted as the Antarctic European Forum Mandate ("EF Mandate of Antarctica" or "Mandate of Antarctica" or "Antarctic Mandate" or "Antarctica" or "the Antarctic") shall be exempt from the earlier resolution:You must be registered for see links;
- The Mandate of Antarctica shall hereby be extended indefinitely, to be formally abolished only following a subsequent resolution dedicated to establishing a unique and permanent solution to the Antarctic Question;
- The nations of Europe, through their representatives to the European Forum, following the adoption of this emergency extension shall dedicate themselves to aYou must be registered for see linksfocused on crafting this unique and permanent resolution to the Antarctic Mandate;
CONCLUSION
The Abolition of European Forum Mandates, while an overdue and noble effort by the European community to progress into the realities of the twenty-first century, has neglected to properly consider Antarctica in this effort. With resolve to avoid the artificial creation of further crisis and conflict among member states and thereby violating the express purpose of this Forum in preventing such crises from developing, the European Forum is determined to correct its oversight and protect the Antarctic from exploitation and abuse by powers, and ensure its mandate is properly replaced with a more permanent, effective, and stable arrangement suited to its unique circumstances.
