Xizang City - State of Tenzing

A man dressed in a nondescript Jizhou Army uniform stepped on the pamphlet, his boot crumpling it up a bit. He was much older than the horde of soldiers around him, his aging face covered in liver spots. His helmet covered his disappearing hair. His uniform had the name 'Jin' stitched on. He picked up the pamphlet and read it,

"Field Marshal!" A young lieutenant came running up to Jin Pufang, who dropped the pamphlet and took his cigar out of his mouth, "We've secured the city. The mayor is in custody and the abbot at Guangshan Temple is willing to work with us!"

The lieutenant hadn't saluted, but Jin was always worried about protecting both himself and his fellow officers' identities. The last thing they needed was an enemy sniper spotting the Field Marshal. "Good. Get psych workin' with the abbot straight away. Guess these fliers are worth the cost in ink."

The Tenzing campaign, called "Operation Red Panda," was a polar opposite of Jizhou's domestic anti-communism campaign. Back in Guanghe, Ding Nan floated around on her airship, watching the Republican Guard burn everything and everyone below her. Here in Xizang, Tenzing's Second City, Jin's orders were to force the people to love him. The way to do that was through the clergy. Exactly the way the Oikawans did it during the Great War.

"And make a few donations to the Temple while you're at it, kid!" Jin yelled to the lieutenant as he ran off.

A parade of surrendered Tenzing Army soldiers were marched by, their Jizhou Army captors reading out propaganda and some items about the rights of war prisoners while interpreters worked their magic. Their military was a joke. The Air Force even reported having shot down a couple of single-engine Mitsurugi Zero propeller planes with Tenzing colors. Chuckling, the Field Marshal couldn't help but notice what an annoying language Tibetan was. Then came the best news of the day over Jin's radio, the Army had captured the mayor's Oikawan adviser.

"Love those fuckin' devils," the Field Marshal said to himself as he spat out his spent cigar. A squadron of Sky Marshal Huang's fighter-bombers blasted by overhead. They were all of Oikawan design, manufactured in Jizhou.
