Ambassador,

We are deeply perturbed by the language of a recently released statement from your ECONAMS Conference written by the Justosians which has your supposed support. This statement seems to imply your country is willing to provide total navigational freedom to Justosian military fleets, as it stated it supports the "total" freedom of navigation for all ships internationally on all high seas. This is our interpretation of the message and it most certainly seems to be the interpretation of the Justosians.

We warn you that if you truly do support the language of this message, then we will consider your vows of neutrality to be violated and will cut off diplomatic relations at once.

The Two Kingdoms of Jyskerige and Østveg have not interpreted the text in the same fashion as the Council of Cooperatives. This is likely due to the fashion in which the line of text was written. The text which was published by the Justosian Government, was published unedited by the mistake of the Justosian Government. As noted by its publishing in the State News service of the Justosian Government. It reads with the text,

“As well as total freedom of navigation on the high seas of waters internationale.” ​

This texted is interpreted by the Two Kingdoms as an urging for the maintanence of freedom of navigation on the high seas. High seas of course being international waters. Of course as stated previously, it is the position that the Skånesund is not international waters, although the Two Kingdoms assures the peaceful passage of commerce vessels, and Gothic Sea origined vessels. As per our assurance in prior communications, such the Justosian Navy find its way into the Skånesund we would provide ample warning to the Northern Cooperative Unions —although we will remind you that we cannot threaten our neutral stance and outright fire upon their vessels, we would with urgency and harassment demand their reverse heading.

Her Majesty’s Government regrets that there is a misunderstanding, and Her Government will issue a public statement in the next week on our policy, and the interpretation of the ECONAMS group statement.

Ambassador,

Your clarification has put our minds at ease and we are satisfied with this explanation. We worry very much about the intentions of the Justosian State in international politics due to their combative overtures towards leftist systems, even with our state's transition to market socialism.

Hopefully our concerns do not inspire any consternation among your peoples, as that was not our intent. Please note our intentions still remain to retain peace within our sector of the Gothic Sea.
