Sr. Nurman,
I am writing to you with regards to the extremely concerning situation unfolding in the Occidental state of Wasatch. It is the worry of my government and the people of Sucrecia that the black-skinned inhabitants of this wretched nation, having already been subject to horrific, systematic discrimination, will be the focus of wanton violence should the current clashes escalate.
I imagine the political circumstances in Wasatch are also of great concern to you as well, considering the country's proximity to the territories of Monterry and the Western Antilles. I welcomed Frescania's foreign policy statement declaring your fustration and worry at the violence, but I feel contigency plans should be made for possible humanitarian intervention.
For another calamity to happen to the Black Diaspora, the people of Sucrecia would be outraged. The black sons and daughters of Himyar were already cruelly torn away from their families and homelands by slavers, and they faced the most brutal treatment on the plantation. Since the abolition of slavery and the enfrachisement of black-skinned peoples across the world, black men and women have had the first opportunity to determine their own lives and right the many historical wrongs against them. Resulting racist violence from political instability in Wasatch would be another grave crime against Negroes, especially when surrounding powers had the opportunity to prevent such atrocities.
Sucrecia has witnessed Frescania's willingness to intervene. From Bantyr to Boliatur, Frescania has been prepared to act when its interests are threatened and the values of democracy have needed defending. So now I implore you to begin the contigency planning for a potential crisis in Wasatch, and incorporate Sucrecia into your endeavours. Frescania has always looked to the Occident for opportunity. Now it must look and realise the opportunities are jeopardised by the madness in Wasatch. As the new homeland for the displaced black children of Himyar, Sucrecia will offer refuge to all dark-skinned inhabitants fleeing the turmoil in Wasatch, and help shoulder the burden of the work necessary.
However, this is not just a petition for action on behalf of the black peoples of the so-called 'Empire of Democracy', but for action on behalf of the denizens of this body, which I prefer to see as a fraternity of nations based around a shared history, language, culture and Republican political tradition. An implosion in Wasatch will have consequences for the entire Occident. We must stand prepared.
