To whom it may concern,

Dear colleagues and lovers of Football (Association Football), the Royal Ebrian Football federation has the honour of inviting you to the Winter Charity Tournament, now in its 3rd edition, which has been organised previously under the auspices of the Royal House of Sánchez and the Meridian Union, before this known as the Copa de la Tiburanidad, celebrating through sport the cultural unity of the Tiburan nations.

Today, with the situation of the world dire, we wish to expand the invitation to the nations of the world, so as to make a show for peace, solidarity, unity, commonality in front of all peoples, with the profits coming from the Tournament being sent into a NGOs at the choice of the winning teams with the promises that they will reach people in need or refugees from the last years' conflicts.

The tournament will be held in Ebria, with matches in Valls, Amérida, Sahagún, Chiste, Villanueva, San Lawrenz and Ranero. The Ebrian neutrality act will ensure that all teams irrespective of the nations they come from, from Tianlong to Thaumantica, from Tarusa to Westernesse, from the Dune Sea to Metsamaa are all welcome and they will have their security ensured by the Guardia Civil and the Cuerpo de Policia Armada. The event is sponsored by the Royal Ebrian Football Federation, the Ministry of Sport and Youth and RTVE.

We hope that we will all manage to set asside the conflicts that have been so divisive of humanity in the last years and come together in a celebration of sports, which will move national rivalries from the frontlines to the field, all within the umbrella of sportsmanship.

The Ebrians are proud to put forward the participation of the national football team, fondly known as Los Toros, to participate in the event. We hope that for the show we put up we will raise enough awareness for the people of the world to understand the plight of many, especially in these dire times. We put forward the kits for the championship in the home and away versions, celebrating the national flag of Ebria, while also adding in the Trastamara Cross, as a nod for the glorious past of the nation.

The Empire of Tarusa will participate in this event for the first time in many years. Representing the Empire will be the national football team known as the Imperial Gladiators.

 

[Angliarique]

The Empire of Angliarique will make her inaugural participation. A full-Spascirian team known as 'Spasci United' will be sent as His Majesty's representatives to compete in the event.

The Royal Ebrian Football Federation will approve on the participation of the so called "Spasci United" team, solely if the Empire fully respects the laws and customs of the United Kingdom and thus it shows that the people it sends in the all-Spascirian team are joining as volunteers, with no coercion from the state, and with no political penalties, irrespective of the position they finish, fully respecting the human dignity of the players.​

Tianlong Football Association

The Tianlong Republic will participate in the charity event with its professional football team, known as the Golden Dragons. The uniforms need no introduction given their clear inspirational nature.

National Soccer League of Westernesse

The NSLW forbids any Federation citizen from participating in the Ebrian Winter Charity Event as well as broadcast of this event in the Federation of Westernesse due to sanctions related to forced Spascirian Labor. The Royal Ebrian Football Federation cannot guarantee that Spascirians playing on the Anglian team have not been coerced into doing so and relying on the honor of a slave state to be truthful in this matter is naive at best.

Common Angliarique Athletics Association C.A.A.A.

The Royal Ebrian Football Federation is mistaken if it truly believes that the members of 'Spasci United' wish to participate as a result of government coercion. The REFF should refrain from politicising sports, it is as dangerous as mixing politics with religion. Spasci United play as themselves, not political pawns nor forced labourers.

Angliarique Foreign Affairs Cabinet F.A.C. PUBLIC

The Empire of Angliarique recognises the principles of mutual benefit, and peaceful co-existence. It is not the interest of the Angliarique Permanent Government to interfere in the internal affairs of the United Kingdom. The APG respects the law and culture of nations, that look towards the preservation of peace. The APG sends this team as part of a larger programme for creating tolerance in Angliarisian circles for the benefit of the Spascirian people and their culture, with the hope that racial harmony between the two can finally be achieved.

The Federation rejects this last comment and keeps the participation of the Anglian team on hold for not cooperation with us in relation to the special status that not us pushed them into but rather, the generalised politics of the nation pushed the Spascirians in a position where their own dignity as a people had for very long been disrespected. The tournament is opened to national teams and we were opened to this "all-Spasiciran team" because of what might affirmative action mean in such cases, but if the CAAA wishes to just turn down what are nothing but goodwill concern for the players, then it is clear they have no place in the United Kingdom. What it must be understood is that, when national teams play, sport is political, for they do it under their banner and for the players, it is an honour and a moment of pride. Politics are present when laws are respected and followed, and Ebrian law is thoroughly against just a few weeks ago, Spascirians were working through the Labour Council. Thus, unless the C.A.A.A. wishes to cooperate and work with us, the Spasci United team is welcome. If not, it is not.​

The Common Angliarique Athletics Association and Spasci United, are deeply insulted by the deceptive remarks so given by the REFF Executive.
The REFF has hurt the feelings of the hopeful Spascirian team, who without doubt will carry on their love for the game at home.

Nations were promised that this event would be a "Celebration of Sports." And of, "National rivalries moving from the frontlines to the field."
However, that has not been the case. It is obvious now as confessed by the REFF, that this 'event' serves to forward the political interests of the United Kingdom. Given the REFF's persistent politicisation of football and sports in general, the CAAA with permission from Spasci United withdraws it's request to participate in this corrupt stadium. ​

 

[Thaumantica]

Thaumantic Athletics Union

In preparation for the potential hosting of a Women's World Cup this summer the combined Cantignian, Engwahlian, and Nieveland 'Rainbow Coalition' Female Football team wishes to challenge male-bound teams for both practice and spectacle in this charity event. The three male Communal National teams are at present gutted by the military draft and are scheduled to begin training on a joint communal team some time in 2025. Win or lose we hope the Rainbow Coalition proves that Thaumantic women are unafraid of taking on challenges that others would call impossible.

With the revelation that the Spascirian Team has withdrawn from the tournament due to not wishing to abide by the rules of the tourney organizer, the NSLW submits the Federation's national team the Fighting Westermen to the tournament.

[Tarusa]

The Empire of Tarusa will be withdrawing the Imperial Gladiators from the tournament. It is unfortunate that a sport has been politicized in such a way that it is doing the exact opposite of what its claimed goal was to be. The Royal Ebrian Football Federation has taken a sporting event away from the players whom desired to represent their peoples on a global level and from the fans whom would have been cheering them on and turned a sporting event into a diplomatic affair.

May the REFF remember that it has taken from millions of fans, and the countless revenue that would have been generated that has been lost by such a foolish decision.

 

[Hanseatic Republics]

The Hanseatische Fußball-Bund (HFB) - (Metsamaan: Hansa jalgpallikoondis / Federation Standard: Hanseatic Football Federation) In light of the Empire of Tarusa and the Spascirian Slave Labor teams no longer participating, the HFB has agreed to send a team. Die Kogge will mirror the spirit shown by the Communes and send their women's team in preparation for the Women's World Cup.

The Radilan national team, the Golden Lions will happily appear at this tournament, with charitable sponsorships by Maserati and Perondi.

The Nazionale di Calcio Remuriana e Retaliana, for simplicity's sake the Squadra Azurra, will take part in the Charity Tournament. And hopefully not lose against Rheinbund again. Twice. With the exact same score.
