At this point logging into the forum with a normal banner is the only thing that would shock me. Perhaps, however, this shinanaginry is an opportunity for a community building exercise. I think we should have a contest for a proper NSEurope banner designed by our more artistically inclined members with some ideas/feedback by the rest of us.
Well add that to the Admin To-Do List: use a proper NSEurope banner, like the one Q designed, or actually use the banner a contest might produce.
