FROM: Narkomindel, K.N.R.R.
TO: Exterior Ministry, Boganhem
RESTRICTED
I will begin by congratulating your government on the successful resolution of the Free Cities crisis, we eagerly anticipate the continued consolidation of the Bogan social-nationalist economy.
However I must inquire as to whether or not the Bogan government still intends to hold a referendum on the future of the Free Cities League, as was promised by the Peoples Council. While we shed no tears for the capitalist wreckers, it is of the highest importance to us that a clear democratic mandate be obtained on the future political status of the League within the Bogan nation. The masses are the victims of capitalism, but they are also its spine. Without their support there can be no victory in our struggle.
The Revolutionary Republic is prepared naturally to provide observers for any referendum, as we have no doubt hostile capitalist powers will attempt to throw into doubt any result which is contradictory to their hegemonic agenda.
