To enhanse this economic growth in those areas mentioned, the Economic Programme of 2010 created the Guiana Office for Investment (GO-Invest), an agency answerable to the PM, but which will work closely with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Commerce and other government agencies, to provide a comprehensive service to potential investors and to exporters looking to invest in Guiana. Go-Invest will act as a liaison for investors with government Ministries and agencies and will assists those investors in setting up new business in Guiana by providing information on incentives and regulations and to help access land or factory space. GO-Invest will also provide infromation on investments in Guianan companies and assist in the setting up of joint venture operations with local companies.
