OOC: This is just my preliminary opening post, and really my first foray into economic RP. You'll have to forgive me if I take a bit to decide on some things, but I'll do my best to work with everyone fairly, and creatively. Most of what you'll find here are developments with my petroleum industry- and initial deals, whether they be long-term export contracts, or in some cases, records of dated deals, and their developments.

I'm also going to be hounding UDO/Ziv to create some nice graphics/banners for me, for my various oil-company-bloodsucking-thingers.

Ok, so here's a rough list of people that I know that I either export oil to and/or have sold, or might sell rights, or interests to previously extant, or soon to be developed reserves around the nation. If you'd like to have historical deals, let me know. I'll only do so much on those, and only for so many people, so first come, first serve really.

Nations With Deals Already (nations with an * are nations that I'm not really sure about, and would have to double-check on):

Belmont* (Belmont is one of the few nations in "the Occident," or the West that Greater Sarmatia has any real historical ties with, and plans are in the works to kick relations up a few notches, so it's likely that there is some amount of petrol headed to Gay Paris from Old Hrodino)

Jizhou, and the LFS in general* (Not sure how much they produced, or how much Xen would have allowed for me to export to them, and definitely not sure how much I'm exporting to them now, if at all.)

Kryobaijan (Oil began to flow quite freely into Kryobaijan last year, and Sarmatians would like nothing more than to pump even more into its "newly free" sister-nation.)

Oikawa* (Maybe some, but I'm not sure how much, and if there's really all that much going that way now.)

Oltremare (One of the major consumers of Sarmatian oil, both historically and currently. The slightly smaller population means that they consume slightly less, but I think at a higher rate per individual.)

Wendmark (A moderate importer of Sarmatian oil, there's a chance that this relationship will be expanded and fortified in the near future.)

Wiese (One of the few nations that actually have shares in ownership of a few Sarmatian oil-wells, and one of the top-importers of Sarmatian oil. Though in most cases the Sarmatians prefer to keep the Wiesers at arms-reach, they are more than willing to make enormous profits off of the Kaiserlicks.)

Životinje (Along with Wiese, probably one of the larger consumers of Sarmatian oil currently.)

I think it would also be logical if Franken, Arendaal, Eiffelland - and maybe even Batavie now imported at least some oil from me. Post any questions or offers that you have here, or PM them to me- but know that the Sarmatian national-character does not allow for the nation to be whored out. It was only after many, many decades of negotiations that the Wiesers were allowed in- at all.

My last points are that I think that my major petroleum corporations will be BenzynaCesarski (as it will be known by the time that it comes into play here), but currently known as BenzynaKról is easily the largest and most powerful corporation in the nation, petroleum-related or otherwise. It wields enormous influence on Kościałkowsky's government- and the military, with subsidiaries of this monopoly (of which, Kościałkowsky will be the majority shareholder, hence the name change to Imperial-Petrol/Gasoline, rather than Royal-Petrol/Gasoline, nullifying any chance that this economic powerhouse will have to exert any real influence on him) developing crucial new technologies for every service branch of the soon to be renamed (Imperial) Armed Forces. I don't know that there will be much, if any foreign involvement in this one, as it's likely to become nationalized (in the singular person of the Supreme Leader/Emperor- without ever being officially nationalized.

NarodowyNafta (National Petroleum) is probably the second largest, and will probably be the one that I might be willing to work out one historical foreign involvement on, and perhaps two new ones for.

EnergiaCentralny is the third largest, and controls some of the oldest wells in the nation- many of them along the far-eastern border, and are the ones that I refer to when I liken my older wells to the Baku Fields of Azerbaijan. The Khazars revered the craggy area where the first wells were discovered as semi-sacred, because of the "burning hills" nearby. EnergiaCentralny was originally comprised of two firms, Arslanöklü, Berdimuhamedow, Nowokowsky and Rauschenbach- which was the first great petroleum-company, and at one point made "Boss" Janusz Nowokowsky and "King" Dawid Arslanöklü the richest men in the Kingdom (eclipsing the Khagan by 600%, and the King by 250% in total worth); and the Royal Khazar Petroleum Firm, which came to be the owner of the single greatest oil reserve, and for a time in the 1950-1960's, was the largest producer. After the fall of the monarchies of Both Nations, the two firms merged- creating EnergiaCentralny. Might be one or two foreigners sitting on the board, would be open to discussing this with some people, note that Wiese is off-limits on this one.

Jutrapiaski, or Sands of Tomorrow is a very new corporation, formed by industry vets from BenzynaKról and NarodowyNafta. They're exclusively devoted to refining the oilsand extraction process, and are amongst the global leaders in this field. They might be willing to work with foreign firms similarly oriented.
