3​ Opening of the Smol ​ The Smol met at 8 a.m. after the conclusion of the National Elections, pursuant to Article 5 of the Briutine Independence Agreement. The Opening of the Smol began after the Interim Premier read out a prayer: “With the Grace of God Almighty, and his loving and peaceful will, he who leads us to the path of righteousness, commands us to his rightful leadership, and calls us into life. I pray that the first session of the Smol is of the virtuous embrace whom the lord our god grants us everlastingly. With that in our hearts and, in our mind, the first session of the Smol shall begin.” ​ Election of the Speaker ​ The Interim Premier (Mr. VichyCha Aldewaiss) rose out of his seat, pointed to Mr. Suzon Bram, and said: I rise to propose Mr. Suzon Bram as Speaker of the Smol. (Applause) A vote is conducted. The Speaker is elected by a vote of 19 to 1. Thereafter, Mr. Suzon Bram was directed by the Interim Premier to the Chair of the Speaker. ​ Administration of Oaths​ Mr. Speaker: Elected Custodians, we will now begin the administration of oaths. In accordance with the terms agreed upon before the National Election was held, all elected representatives regardless of political affiliation will swear their loyalty first only to the country, our independent republic of Spascirians. 4​ Election of the Premier​ From his seat, without rising to stand, the Interim Premier (Mr. VichyCha Aldewaiss) said: Mr. Speaker, I believe now is the time to commence the election of the Premier, pursuant to the Article 7 of the Briutine Independence Agreement. Ms. Cynthia Cardhouse (Hortidge Town): I rise in support of the motion. Mr. Benard Bulabarde (Beer’s Hill) rose out of his seat, stood, and said: I rise to oppose the motion. Mr. VichyCha, you are a traitor to Spascirian freedom. Everyone knows true freedom is found in a good friendship with Angliarique. This is not it. Mr. Speaker: Order! I must implore the Custodian for Beer’s Hill, not to address the Excellent Interim Premier in such a hostile manner. Please refer to the Custodian as the Excellent Interim Premier. Though, no code of ethics is set yet by the Smol, I will not tolerate this harmful behaviour. Please retract your statement and continue. Mr. Benard Bulabarde (Beer’s Hill): I will not retract my statement! I have nothing more to say! (Shouting) Mr. Speaker: Order! Honourable Custodians, please be silent. The Custodian for Beer’s Hill, please retract your statement. Mr. Benard Bulabarde (Beer’s Hill): You have no right! No right to call for retraction! You’re a lapdog! Ms. Cynthia Cardhouse (Hortidge Town): How can you say this?! This is undemocratic! Get out! Mr. Speaker, I demand the Custodian’s immediate ejection. Now! (Applause) Mr. Benard Bulabarde (Beer’s Hill) pounded his fists on his desk, and said: You have no right! Eject me, I dare you! Mr. Speaker, I challenge you! Mr. Speaker: Order! Quiet, quiet, please be silent! (Gavel Struck) Though, there has yet been a code of proper conduct codified. I will not have the Custodian for Beer’s Hill, continue to obstruct the assembly’s proceedings and ruin the decorum of this assembly. I give my final warning to the Custodian for Beer’s Hill, retract your statements. (Gavel Struck) Mr. Benard Bulabarde (Beer’s Hill): I stand by my words, and am principled unliked that bastard of a leader, VichyCha! (The Custodian walked out of the Smol) Mr. Speaker: Honourable Custodians, I sincerely apologise for the delay. I will begin nomination process for candidacy of the Premiership of the Spascirian Republic. Ms. Abigail Georgie (River Hunt) rose out of her seat, walked to the Speaker’s chair, and said: Mr. Speaker, I rise to submit a document approved by members of the Spascirian Nationalist Front, elected to be Custodians under the banner of the party. Mr. Speaker will find in the document the preferred candidate of 13 Custodians. We submit our nomination for the Excellent Interim Premier. Mr. Gertrude Dorothy (North Spring) stood up, walked to the Speaker’s chair, and said: Mr. Speaker, the Spascirian Independence Party would like to do the same. Our preferred choice for Premier supported by 6 Custodians, is myself, the Custodian for North Spring. Mr. Speaker: I acknowledge the submissions. But, we must follow proper protocol. Interim Premier (Mr. VichyCha Aldewaiss): I rise to remind Mr. Speaker, that the Briutine Independence Agreement has already provided an established framework for election of the Premier, I thus request that a vote be conducted transparently. And that, each vote is individually accounted for. Mr. Speaker: Your Excellency’s request has been acknowledged. Honourable Custodians, at present we have surpassed the required quorum of 10 for the voting process to commence, we currently have 19 Custodians present, all eligible to vote, including the Excellent Interim Premier. Pursuant to Article 7(b) of the Briutine Independence Agreement, the elected representatives shall cast their vote individually, indicating agreement by stating yes or its equivalent, or indicating opposition by stating no or its equivalent. VichyCha Aldewaiss (for Upper Spasciria): Yes, for the SNF.​ Mr. Speaker: The votes have been recorded, the first Smol elects the Excellent Interim Premier and Custodian for Upper Spasciria, Mr. VichyCha Aldewaiss, to the Office of the Premier. Congratulations, your excellency. ​

5​ Oath-Taking of the Premier​ Mr. Speaker stood up, walked to the front of the newly elected Premier’s desk, and said: Your excellency, will now take the oath of office of Premier of the Republic of Spasciria. Place your right hand on your heart, and repeat after me. I, VichyCha Aldewaiss, honourable Custodian for Upper Spasciria. The Premier (VichyCha Aldewaiss) with his right hand on his chest: I, VichyCha Aldewaiss, honourable Custodian for Upper Spasciria. Mr. Speaker: Under the observation of God Almighty, and the Spascirian Republic, do solemnly affirm that I will faithfully discharge the office of the Premier of the Republic of Spasciria, and will defend and preserve the culture and peace of the Republic. The Premier (VichyCha Aldewaiss) with his right hand on his chest: Under the observation of God Almighty, and the Spascirian Republic, do solemnly affirm that I will faithfully discharge the office of the Premier of the Republic of Spasciria, and will defend and preserve the culture and peace of the Republic. Mr. Speaker: Congratulations, your excellency. The Premier (VichyCha Aldewaiss) shook the hand of Mr. Speaker: Thank you. ​ Adjournment of the first session​ Mr. Speaker at his chair, said: Honourable Custodians.
