I shall reintroduce myself.
I'm Phill - used to be the big dick here, then Xen did a much better job then I could ever do. RPed a banana republic Monkecia that was destroyed in 2007 by a combined IC brilliant attack from five states and some OOC nonsense we won't go into (Red Hose Deux for those interested).
Had an awful lot of fun. Pity it all ended in nuclear war. Now I think you cater for different tastes? Not too sure - been reading lots tonight.
Now have a baby boy, 17 months old. Life is busy but hopefully I can add a few articles a week or something and get back into things here.
Monkecia:
10 years since independence from a former world power (happy if someone wants to vol, used to be Britannic Empire). Monkecia has been ravaged by civil war, a communist uprising vs nationally-backed pseudo democracy. Communists look like they will lose in next few months. Monkecia has an ancient pagan religion, a royal family, lots of poverty, lots of gold, possibly lots of oil, lots of cocoa and bananas, and lots of smelly, illiterate, poor, starving children and workers (thus the communists).
Think Cuba during the revolution, or Sri Lanka just before the Tamils were crushed.
Hope to RP with a lot of you. To my old friends, can't wait to interact with you all again, those who like me, hello, those who for whatever reason hate me, let's move on from 5 years ago, those who I've yet to meet, I look forward to it greatly.

If you still want a Banana Republic type of deal, I'm RPing a nation that refuses to accept it isn't a global hegemony and suffers from small nation syndrome that's about to have some internal problems that I'm planning on working commies into somehow.
