My eventual goal is to basically get established as a stable authoritarian regime with fascist tendencies. My nation is for the most part, isolationist so there shouldn't be any fears of world conquest

Well, there is a "fascism" ideology in this world (unlike the real world) called Mezhism, kinda like the opposite of Communism. Other Mezhist countries include the Mezhist Union (Upper Swiecziema being a major part of that) I'd suggest getting together with him to ensure you have some allies. The government of Yujin, which is becoming increasingly less rational and more reactionary, is also looking for support against Communist revolutionaries, if you want to get involved in a conflict economically but not militarily (no guarantees the Communist supporters won't try to attack your ships, though..)

Just to let you know, if you play the isolation angle you might box yourself in and be roleplaying with yourself, which might be exactly what you want. However don't discount the fun benefits of at least doing something, how ever small that be, on the international scale. Also welcome to Europe!
