On Behalf of the Sinhai Union

While many nations may be offended by the honouring of those deemed criminals of war, vigilantes, or rogues, the Sinhai Union notes that all men are simply men, and to fight in war is a crucible only the unfortunate few must make. By honouring the fighters of the war, Oikawa pays their respect to the bravery contributed by those humans that took part in actions no man should commit. Oikawa's honouring of the fallen and the surviving is remarkable, we only ask that revisionism is set aside and that all those who died in the Great War are respected as the men and women they are, beyond the flags and governments that cast their shadows over them. All warriors are brave, regardless of their reasons for fighting.

At a point in the history of Sarmato-Touyou Partnership that shares an uncomfortably high number of similarities with the simultaenously glorious and grim days of the Great War, this government and the people that it so carefully serves can do naught save celebrate the heroics of these valiant men in the same spirit as our Oikawan allies. Though precious few in number, the occassions upon which Sarmatian men-at-arms had the opportunity to fight against the monumental evil that International Communism presented to the free peoples of the world shoulder to shoulder with the heroes of the Bagha Legion are celebrated in the same spirit, and with the same fervor that all other Sarmato-Touyou Actions are accorded.

Our only regret is that the evil of International Communism could not be fully expunged from not only the East- and the world as a whole. The continued existence of such a deplorable and morally bankrupt ideology in our very midst is a direct affront to the memory of all the men and women that fought- and in many cases perished- in this, the greatest of all Civilizations' Great Crusades. Until the atomization of Itil, and the massacres of Dwina and Kyzil are fully avenged, the forces of True Civilization must remain ever vigilant.

Emperor sends message to soldiers, urging them to take Weining; renewed efforts to take Chengpai

Nokanawa. In a rare personal address, His Imperial Majesty has sent a letter to the armed forces currently involved in the campaign to take the northern Jizhou city of Weining. It is the first time since hostilities started in Jizhou that His Imperial Majesty has commented on the war efforts of our heroic soldiers.

In the letter, His Imperial Majesty praised the valiant efforts of the allied troops involved in Operation Eastern Tide, the general offensive conducted in cooperation with our allies in Kokuryuko that seeks to push to Tenzing to expel the remaining Yiyuan Clique forces from the eastern part of that country, relief patriotic freedom fighters operating in the country in defiance of Yiyuan despotism and free the Tenzing people from their Yiyuan slavemasters.

However, the offensive has grinded to a hold in recent weeks as the Yiyuan Clique has begun to concentrate remaining military assets in the eastern parts of Jizhou, determined to keep allied forces from pushing into the heartland around Chongbin, which has been declared a provision wartime capital by the Yiyuan remnant.

"Your sacrifice will not be in vain. I have full confidence in the divine blessing of our sacred ancestors in regards to your undertaking, and there is no doubt that ultimately, you will emerge victorious in your struggle to free the people of Jizhou from the cumbersome burden that is the dictatorial regime established by confused disharmonious elements that will not stop the natural tendency of the great Jizhou people to strive towards harmony and unison", an excerpt of the letter that had been forwarded to the media read.

In the last week, Imperial forces reported dozens of neutralized Yiyuan MBTs and hundreds of eliminated or captured Yiyuan infantrymen, who, according to a new guideline by the general staff, would from now on be treated as prisoners of war instead of unlawful combatants, provided that they properly identified themselves as combatants on the battlefield.

"The Empire wishes to stress that it highly values the life of civilians in the combat area and strives for the proper treatment of prisoners, and we hope that our generous signs of compassion towards common soldiers who have been tricked into risking their lives by Yiyuan propaganda will convince many of them to give up their arms and to reintegrate themselves as peaceful and productive members of the society of the Republic of Jizhou", a spokesperson for the Imperial Ministry of War and Foreign Affairs stated.

Meanwhile, allied forces announced that they would temporarily withdraw from Chengpai City due to the unclear security situation in the area that allowed Yiyuan forces to engage in terroristic activities against members of the pacification forces in heavy exchanges of fire since September 10. Air raids in the area have been stepped up to make sure a renewed offensive in the area will be able to permanently pacify the area in cooperation with reinforcements that are due to be redeployed from Yiyuan later this month.

Imperial representative to the Council of Nations calls for settlement of old wrongs

Augsburg. "I don't see why the Empire should continue to tolerate the one-sided expansion of the Council of Nations any longer. If you ask me, there needs to be a reevaluation of membership policy before the Council can proceed to expand", the Imperial representative to the Council of Nations Takayama addressed the journalists in his press conference in Augsburg today.

"While productive members of the international community like the Republic of Jizhou, the Lanur Free State, the State of Aryana and countless other states, which are on that note recognized by a substantial part of the international community, are yet to become members of the Council of Nations, are yet to become able to represent their peoples in front of the international community, socialist entities are applying for entrance into these esteemed halls and will likely be permitted entrance. I don't have to remind you that Gorno-Altair was only prevented from entering the Council of Nations because of Imperial intervention."

Going on to elaborate on what Takayama brilliantly analyzed as a "balance of bias", he argued that the Council of Nation ought to rethink its admission habits.

"I think it is high time that the Council reevaluates the admission of states in Sarmatia and Touyou that have until now been denied access to these high halls of international diplomacy."

The Imperial representative said that he would be open to talks with other representatives that were willing to work towards a rectification of the current situation, saying that he was confident that the current issues would be resolved in due time and the Council would again be able to resume admitting new member states.

Oikawa's self-serving attitude towards the Council of Nations is lamentable as the organisation was founded to foster peace and co-operation amongst nations and Nokanawa's unreasonable demands and bullying tactics threaten to undermine these ideals. The People's Republic of Vangala calls for the abolition of the Security Council and the transfer of its powers to the General Assembly. An elitist clique should not dictate the Council of Nation's policies.

The Kingdom of Franken commends Oikawa's dedication to her closest partners' interests. Whereas Franconian foreign policy recognised these partner states as entities in their own right, we believe the Oikawan definition of an independent state does not coincide with the ideas many other governments represented in the CoN maintain.

Minhdao commends Oikawa for finally standing up to the wrongs the elite nations of the CoN have brought upon this world by banding together to make themselves wealthier. We hope the Empire's comments made today will spark some sort of re-working of the CoN's policies.

We condemn the statement from Oikawan CoN representative, which has been made in pretty biased view.

The Empire is steadfast against Piracy and International Gangsterism

Nokanawa. Representatives of the press and the common sailors cheered an announcement by the Office of Public Relations of the Imperial Oikawan Navy today that the Empire would continue to fight piracy and international gangsterism by intensifying its efforts in the South Jizhou Sea "dramatically". By this move the Imperial Oikawan Navy is showing that it is taking its responsibilities as the supreme peacekeeping force of the region serious and is acting in the spirit of international peace.

Admiral Takamoto, who spoke on behalf of the admiralty in front of a crowd of over 500, admitted that Imperial engagement in fighting the forces of terroristic piracy and criminal goods shipment had the ability to "improve" and that in consultations with the Imperial Minister of War and Foreign Affairs as well as the rest of His Imperial Majesty's Empire, all parties had come to the conclusion that South Jizhou piracy would from now on no longer be able to thrive whatsoever.

Specifically Admiral Takamoto announced that terroristic shipments from gangster cliques such as the Jurzan Group that violently removed the legitimate Georgian government from power, would be stopped from engaging in their dangerous and illegal activities in the area.

"The Imperial Oikawan Navy will take appropriate measures to intercept, supervise, detain, and if needed, sink vessels belonging to the Jurzan Group to ensure the safety of the region and curtain the spread of communism, to safeguard the freedom and lives of people in Ratomkira and Jizhou as well as Serindia", the admiral said.

An additional carrier group would be deployed to the area to ensure that the Imperial policy would be effective, Takamoto stated.

But as responsible guardians of freedom, the Imperial Oikawan Navy does not stop there. Instead, plans to massively expand the Huaqing Military Base in the Huaqing Special Administrative Oversea Province have been revealed, with 6 divisions of Imperial Oikawan Naval Assault Infantry as well as two strategic bomber squadrons already on the way to being redeployed to the area and other troops to follow.

"Rest assured that wherever elements defying liberty and order raise their ugly heads, we will be there to sever them", the admiral closed, ensuring our people and the liberated millions of Greater Touyou in general that they can sleep soundly, secure beneath the watchful eyes of Oikawan friendship.

We warn the Oikawan Empire not to interfere with the activities of the People's Naval Force or hinder commercial shipping destined for Vangala.

Shipments bound for Vangala, if falling under the Empire of Greater Oikawa's definition of terroristic piracy and criminal goods shipping, will be subject to the same policies as all other shipping in the area.

We condemn Oikawa for using its armed forces to search ships and hinder commercial shipping between nations. The Oikawan empire has once again shown it can and will interfere with the affairs of it's neighbours in an attempt to expand its ideology and negative influence.

Oikawa is flexing his military muscle in the south sea, not because of a renewed dedication to the security responsibilities he shares with Wing Sing and Warre to defend these most vital trade lanes. But rather to intimidate the Taishanese, who seem to be gaining some sort of control over their country and finally have finally shown some sort of competence in diplomacy in their recent connection with the Chuthe of of Minhdao.

Not to mention killing two birds with one stone in further drawing attention and resources to the military. Yoshikawa's grip on power and the entire stability of the Oikawan Empire rests on maintaining this 'military first' ideology. The rapidity with which the Oikawan state scrambled to react to "Li's Gambit" in Jizhou evidences the panic they feel, and the shocks this latest announcement have sent through the Wing Sing Industrial Index show the ever-decreasing confidence the League of Free States' freest market has in its biggest member. Using the market to gauge the perceptions of Oikawa's stability paints an ugly picture. But some of this may be accounted for by worries that an Oikawan crackdown on the sea lanes with increase the cost of maritime trade and therefore bring up prices.

In any case, Yoshikawa's latest maneuver seems like a mistake that will only backfire in the future. The sad truth of Oikawa is that they desperately need to trim the fat of their empire, granting more autonomy (that is, true independence) to the far-flung provinces, giving up valueless colonial possessions (it's hard to imagine a greater waste of resources than south Dravidpur), and privatizing defunct, profligate state-owned enterprises. Oikawa is rotting everywhere, at his core, and at his fringes. A beefy military can only hide this for so long.

..."The recently increased military activity of the Oikawan Empire in its territorial waters and their associated vicinity, combined with threats and military posturing made to neighboring nations in connection with this, appear to indicate that the Vostok Sea-Long Sea-Bay of Narino Route will gain increasing prominence in Touyou-bound maritime commerce, as contractors seek to avoid the hazard of unilateral military action. Therefore it can be estimated that the acts will hinder international commerce, particularly as the costs of using the aforementioned route as opposed to ones passing territories of Oikawan influence are heightened, especially for those nations where a Vostok Sea-Vandal Sea-Implarian Ocean route has traditionally been preferred. On the other hand, coastal nations along the so-called VS-LS-BN route and in other easily accessible maritime regions could stand in this as beneficiaries."

Great National Anti-ism Campaign Begins

Nokanawa. The Great National Anti-ism Campaign announced by the Imperial Ministry of National Cultivation and Education this August has begun today, with thousands of ads finding their ways into newspapers, television and the streets, public information assemblies being held for the community all over the country and the special National Awareness Month program having started in schools all over the country.

The campaign formally began with a ceremony this morning at Teikoku Jingū as the entire cabinet assembled before the main prayer hall, praying for the good health and prosperity of the Oikawan people before His Excellency the Imperial Minister of War and Foreign Affairs Yoshikawa gave a small address to parishioners, urging them to live the next four weeks with special attention to themselves, their surroundings and the national integrity and to remind themselves of the responsibilities and honors that come with being born an Oikawan subject. At the end of his address, Yoshikawa handed a piece of masterful calligraphy created by His Majesty the Emperor himself to Teikoku Jingū's head priest Tanaka, who respectfully and with gratitude accepted this extraordinarily generous gift.

The Great National Anti-ism campaign was announced earlier this year to combat the spread of dogmatic and divisive isms that seek to destroy the national integrity and spiritual foundation of the Oikawan people. The government had initiated preparations for the campaign after Imperial intelligence organs had found out about attempts by radical groups supported by neocolonialist backers to destabilize the Empire by converting law-abiding subjects of His Majesty the Emperor to the false dogmas of hedonistic salvation that seek to spread to our country from the peoples of Germania and Gallia. Especially the materialist and dystopian idea of communism is being targeted, the aim of the campaign being to remind subjects about the inherently degenerate and evil nature of the Germanian ideology.

"The idea of communism is based upon the basic concept that there is a struggle of classes, a so called war of the classes. As one class overthrows the rule of another class, so proponents of communism claim, a new class assumes power in an eternal struggle that only ends when the dictatorship of the most disenchanted is established. The very basic idea of communism is antithetical to the realities of life of the ordinary subject in our Empire, for there is no war between classes in the Empire of Greater Oikawa - instead, there is organic unity under the divine guidance of His Majesty, making us all equal before his supreme authority. As such, communism's claimed goal of universal equality has in fact already been archived in Oikawa, making it the most progressive guiding light for all peoples in the world today", Dr. Muri of the National Institute of Political Research explains, exposing the communist idea as the agitatory tool of a gang of power-hungry demagogues that it is.

But the communist lie is not the only false dogma that is targeted. The ideas of neocolonialism, imperialism, multiculturalism and racism are likewise exposed to the average citizen as the divisive lies that they are. Employers are encouraged to send employees home half an hour early in the following month to allow subjects to attends evening classes on the various variants of isms in their neighborhoods.

While contemporary lies are discarded as the agitprop they are, historical lies are also exposed to raise historical awareness. During the National Awareness Month held at schools, students at all Oikawan schools will learn about the dead dogma of Restorationism.

"Restorationism, the idea of returning man to an utopian original state of universal brotherhood of man in the absence of the state, like communism thought to overthrow the existing order through the philosophical fallacy of historical materialism, correctly predicting the failure of communism but instead propagating communism as the second to last state in human development. The stage of 'state monopolism' as the Restorationists called it was to follow the stage of private monopolism in capitalism. The end of the monopoly was to be the beginning of a free market controlled neither by the state nor private actors, exposed to the ravaging and anarchic forces of uncontrolled social darwinism.

Now we all know about the inherent flaws of capitalism as propagated in Gallia and Germania, and we well know about the flaws of communism. So far, so good. But no society can exist without the state, without an organic form of organization. I'd like to see the civilization that prospers without giving itself norms and laws, morals and ethics. It is not happening, it doesn't work. Restorationism in its core is a dangerously romantic approach to human life that then got hijacked by radical elements that simply thought to usurp all authority and bring the Empire to its knees. 1890, the 20s, and finally the 1959 Incident - you name it, Restorationist elements that re-interpreted what was originally an apolitical philosophy that was absurd, but noble in its intentions, into a violent, dangerous and crypto-communist instrument of hatred were funded by foreign provocateurs with the aims of destroying civilizatory progress, the unbroken lineage of our imperial ancestry. It goes without saying that these elements thought to deliver the Empire and subsequently all of Touyou to the slave vision of neocolonist subjugation", Dr. Muri explains the dogmatic nature of a movement that may now be crushed but still needs to be chiefly remembered by all of us as to remind ourselves that our freedom is not free and that our enemies are still envious and still about.

The National Anti-ism Campaign will last into January.

Faladan "highly alarmed", closes Barazi Border

Faladan. The Supreme State Security Council of the State of Aryana is currently in session after another live fire incident at the Barazi-Aryanan border last night in which one Barazi serviceman was mortally wounded and four sustained significant injuries. It had been the most serious border clash since August.

Thus far, no news have emerged from the meeting, but reporters on the scene have described the security measures around the White Palace 'severe', with a significant increase of armed personnel at the sites. Police armed with automatic weapons are said to patrol the streets. Similar reports come in from towns near the Barazi border.

It was only in September that Generalissimo Kazemi's government declared that the ongoing provocations by extremist insurgents that use the porous Barazi border which fell into near anarchy following the 2009 invasion could and would no longer be tolerated by the Aryanan people. The Aryanan government had appealed to occupation authorities before to ensure the safety of borders and had subsequently sent several notes to the regime that has been put into power in occupied Barazi, but no measures to improve border security had been taken.

In Nokanawa, His Excellency Yoshikawa said that the Empire "shared the concerns by our friends and allies in Aryana" and called upon Barazi authorities to live up to the expectations of the international community. "It goes without saying that any internal developments that concern the Barazi people should in no way, shape or fashion hinder the development of neighboring communities."

Aryanan troops had begun the construction of improved border fences last week in key areas of insurgent pressure, but the project is expected to take many months to complete. Following the 2009 invasion, Islamist insurgents have been using the Baraturk territories as a staging point for surgical raids across the border with the State of Aryana. Islamists groups like the Popular Mujahideen of Transsamartia or the Islamic Republic of Aryana Army are opposed to Generalissimo Kazemi's National Unity Government's progressive and secular regime and seek to install a theocracy. The strength of the insurgency has thus far been reduced by infighting amongst Shia and Sunni groups that beside operating against Aryanan and LFS targets in the border area are also fighting each other.

Generalissimo Kazemi is expected to go before this press this afternoon.

Coalition Command, Operation Steadfast Liberty

There is no greater objective of ours at this time, but to maintain a clear state of harmony between the Baroturkler peoples, and their legitimately fearful neighbors to the East. This Coalition is doing everything within its ability to conduct a fair handed operation, in a country that was neglected and abused for several decades. By no means is this mission an easy task, and we do not take it lightly, nor do we take lightly that our close friends in Aryana are willing to spread misinformation regarding their current policies toward the healing countryfolk of Barazi.

We hope that this incident is mourned with the utmost sincerity. We order that all Coalition Soldiers involved in this incident, alleged or otherwise, are held accountable by all parties involved - in a court of the afflicted countries choosing. If it were within our power, or for that matter right, we would ask that Generalissimo Kazemi met with representatives from the Coalition before exercising his God given right to speak before the press, but we realize that is not a realistic request at this juncture.

Before the end of this week, we expect to meet face to face with government officials from each sides, with Oikawan and Zivotun attachments acting as moderators. This is both the fair and intelligent solution, one that we are fully willing to commit to, and one that we pray meets a peaceful resolution. Peace is in fact the first and foremost objective of this Coalition.

General Pawlaski,
CENTCOM-OSL Barazi

This time let's walk the walk with this RP, rather then talk the talk then let it simmer for another few months.

Department of Foreign Affairs of the State of Aryānā

The National Unity Government stresses that at no point in time has it spread misinformation about its policy in regards to our western neighbors: our aim has been and will continue to be the security and safety of our people in a framework of regional stability dominated by independent actors representing independent peoples. It is for this reason that Operation Steadfast Liberty is followed with keen interest here in Faladan.

We thank CENTCOM for its ready willingness to cooperate with the pending investigations of the incident, by which CENTCOM is showing that it is dedicated to its task and mindful of its surroundings.

Generalissimo Karzemi, being the prudent, resolute and analytical thinker he is - virtues that have now granted him the honor of being able to watch over the lives of this most serene country for over 30 years - wishes to inform CENTCOM and the international community that for the sake of regional stability and to show his goodwill, he is willing to suspend his press conference until such a point in time when he has met with CENTCOM representatives under the conditions proposed by General Pawlaski in his latest comunique. The pending press conference will instead be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Palavi.

Again we convey our goodwill and appreciation of CENTCOM's willingness to cooperate in finding a mutually acceptable solution to the current points of concern.

Zakaria Mokri
Minister of Foreign Affairs
