The Vangalan ambassador has been summoned to receive an official protest note by the Workers' Republic of Carentania. We are very concerned about the violent repression of striking workers for the capital interest of foreign companies in Vangala.

We strongly condemn the propagation of misinformation by the Associated Press and demands this article be withdrawn or edited. The People's Republic of Vangala will also not be lectured on workers' rights and find Carentania's protest unsuitable and offensive, considering our friendship and the internal nature of the incident.

The People's Reserve Police were deployed to apprehend saboteurs and contain riotous activity. Portrayals of the affair as innocent and peaceful are untrue.

Northern natives worry over migration
AP Southport-on-Sea

"We don't want another Farring here", says Lisbeth Heyerdahl, one of those representing the constituency of Old Pyke in the Cantonal legistlature of Iron Islands. Heyerdahl, a member of the moderate Scanian nationalist Nordic People's Party, is referring to one of the 32 Wards of Southport-on-Sea: Farring, an area of 28500 residents - 57% of whom are of immigrant descent - largely living in Commonwealth-supported municipal estates, ranks among the five most high-crime areas in entire Cornavia and in 2009 had ten murders carried out in the area, averaging at 35 murders for 100000 residents in comparison to the 18 murders for 100000 residents (135 murders in total) rate of the entire city.

Heyerdahl spoke to AP reporters in the meeting of a local citizen's committee against a planned municipal housing project in Old Pyke. With funding from the Commonwealth and the Canton of Iron Islands, the city of 235000 was to construct a new municipal estate area of 20000 residents in the area of Haraldsberg. All went well until a story broke out in a local newspaper that a condition by the Commonwealth government for Old Pyke receiving funding for the development of Haraldsberg and renovation of existing municipal estates was that a portion of apartments would be reserved for foreigners designated with refugee status by the Immigrant Agency. Now, there's significant pressure towards the government to end the project or at least remove the conditions requiring a reservation of apartments to immigrants and refugees eligible for municipal housing. Local and Cantonal politicians including Heyerdahl might start a legal battle against the government over the Haraldsberg project.

Names such as Southport-on-Sea's Farring and Lychester, Bremerholm's Aldrige and Whitehaven's Millwater and Redford are mentioned by Heyerdahl and other Haraldsberg's opponents in discussing the plans made for the estate. The five are known as Cornavia's foremost problem suburbs, and invoking their names tells a lot about what the opponents of the project fear the most: That social problems felt on the Cornavian mainland would manifest themselves in the three so-called Island Cantons of Cornavia, which so far have enjoyed lower rates of street and gang crime - domestic and alcohol-induced violence, on the other hand, is as high as in the rest of the country - and lesser social inequality in comparison to continental Cantons and particularly the metropolitan areas of Greater Southport and Greater Whitehaven.

This connects the Haraldsberg affair with another Cornavian issue, that of the relations between the Farpoint and Iron Islands Cantons and the rest of Cornavia. "They're using immigration to assimilate us with the Anglosphere", says Einar Freudenthal, chairman of the Järnmark Freedom Party, a separatist group barred from parliamentary activity under Cornavian law and enjoying the support of over 10% of Cornavian Scanians. "Immigrants and refugees who come here only need to learn English and Anglosaxon culture, and they're using them and the Anglosaxons moving here to try and kill our own Nordic culture", speaks Freudenthal.

Immigration is an issue in the rest of Cornavia as well, but in the North it connects with the intricate relations between the Scanian minority and the Commonwealth government, particularly as groups such as the Järnmark Freedom Party have taken up the issue to appeal in a populace less drawn to traditional Anglo-Saxon advocates of stricter immigration policy, such as the Republican Party. As the likes of Lisbeth Heyerdahl and Einar Freudenthal agitate against the Cantonal and Commonwealth governments, the Haraldsberg issue has become the centerpoint of a wide political controversy.

Though Cornavia for long has prided itself on the multiculturalism that has existed between its three main ethnicities - the Anglosaxons, the Scanian community and the aborigine Sevets - and numerous immigrant groups, it is becoming evident that there are pressing issues about to develop. Traditional Cornavian policy has expected that the immigrants will integrate on their own as long as they are given the first push in interacting with the native populace, but neighborhoods such as Farring and the example that they show to people such as those in Old Pyke tell a different story.

Vangalans urged to vote against Popular Rally in Makai Islands elections
AP International

Pamphlets and articles have been circulating in the Vangalan community in the Makai Islands calling for Vangalans to vote against the opposition Popular Rally after a series of controversial remarks by Kepano Kaluhia, the party's leader. Kepano Kaluhia had been criticised by the Vangalan Ministry of External Affairs for using the term 'oriental authoritarianism' and then omitting Vangalans in his apology speech.

Thousands of Vangalans have emigrated to the Makai Islands to work in the country's booming tourist industry, often in lowly paid jobs. Their conditions and status in Makai society has been controversial.

The Communist Party of Vangala, which maintains an active presence in Vangalan overseas communities, has been suspected of being behind the campaign against the Popular Rally. Protests organised by the Young Communist League, the party youth wing, occured outside the Embassy of the Makai Islands in Kilkila last night, with effigies of Kepano Kaluhia burned. Questions from the Associated Press were ignored by the Party, who have maintained an on-and-off ban on the AP operating in Vangala for the last few decades.

The impact on the election is debatable. Many Vangalans in the Makai Islands are unregistered or ineligible to vote. Yet some believe it may galvanise a significant number into registering or activism. But with the Popular Rally slumping in the polls, it may have little effect at all.

Attacks coincide with national elections in war torn Barazi
AP Centrjziema

A car bomb ripped through a military outpost in a midwest Baroturkler city, killing 13 Soldiers and Officers, including top local national Commander Yusef Emrep, and three Životun advisors, the most devastating in a string of attacks from remaining Milliyetci Insurgents, as the country counts votes from its first national election in almost two decades.

Candidate for President, Fahri Bünyami was struck by bone fragments belonging to Emrep, with whom the candidate was shielded from the blast. The Commander killed is considered the "Ace of Clubs" in the Army of Barazi, said Koppány Pawłowski, the Chief Commander of CCC Forces sustaining Operation Steadfast Liberty. Another 28 people were wounded in Sunday's bombing, he said, adding that they had been taken to hospitals after rescuers cleared rubble from collapsed barracks and offices.

Devrik, the nearest town on the highway between the national capital Sevinmek and rural marshes in the west, is Candidate Bünyami's home village, incidentally the scene of militant Loyalist attacks in recent weeks. Two months after the invasion, three suicide-bombers impersonating Humanitarian Aide workers detonated around refugees lined up to register for medical supplies and food, killing 68 people and wounding dozens more.

"Timing of these attacks are no coincidence," said Bünyami from his hospital bed, "Barazi will not stagger after taking this step towards Liberty".

Two Insurgent Groups have claimed responsibility for the attack on Devrik, aiming to destabilize the country and weakening the civilian government struggling to conduct national elections with observers from the nations of Andaluz, Belmont, Cornavia, Frescania, Tyskreich, being secured by Životinje in an extensive nationwide check of the democratic process taking place in Barazi.

"In due course, the insurgency will lose the patience of the people, if not before depleting manpower, supplies, and funds." Chief Commander Pawłowski told the Associated Press. Sources in the Blue Union Captaincy have reported that public opinion in Životinje is in a steep decline as well, "Živs need a face to focus their rage at, and we're fighting an invisible enemy. Their strategy is to defer from man-to-man combat, where Životun are unbeaten" Pawłowski said.

Our condolences go out to the families of the soldiers killed in this attack and to the Zivotun and Barazi governments ahead of a crucial date in the history of Barazi as the country approaches the first democratic elections of a new Barazi government.

Those working to guarantee a safe transition into democracy for the country, which has suffered much in the hands of fascism and oppression, have our full moral support.

Regards,
Mr. William Fenner,
Minister of External Affairs

Northern Sinhai Moves Towards Independence
AP International

The wedge of war continues to divide North and South Sinhai; and despite reports of progress being announced by Southern Sinese officials, the rift between the two continues to grow daily. A new government is forming around the de facto leader of the North, Sayan Jaa, who races to build a democracy in the North. While the South Sinhai government has refused to acknowledge the fledgling institution, reports from the North suggest that, despite the lack of a clear constitution, a legislative body is being formed and that general elections may be held in the coming weeks.

However, this reform may be too little, too late, as the southern offensive presses onwards towards Pak Nam Pran, the second largest settlement in the North, while communist paramilitary push towards Ban Mang, the fourth largest settlement. Cut off from international aid, suffering from a destroyed economy, it seems that organized resistance in the North will not continue for much longer. Whether or not Southern Sinhai can consolidate their holdings properly and diminish violence in the North and encourage peace will likely be the determining factor for the future of Sinhai.

While we encourage democracy, we feel that Communists will soil any attempt to do so, and we feel it can be better achieved through a democratic process in North Sinhai. Thus, we give our support to North Sinhai and condemn the acts in the North for destabilizing the country.

"Cornavia First!", says an M.P making a bid for chairmanship in Cornavia's third-biggest party
AP Southport-on-Sea

One of the most well-known figures of Cornavian politics is Member of Parliament Lawrence Anderton, elected from the ranks of the Republican Party, a conservative party considered to represent the hard right of Cornavian politics. Described by his supporters as a skilled and charismatic orator, and derided by opponents as a filibuster and a populist, Anderton is now making an attempt to the chairmanship of Cornavia's third largest political party.

His challenge to Edmund Moreland, the Republicans' current chairman, comes in a form previously unfamiliar in Cornavian politics. When Anderton introduced his new political platform a week ago, it came with a bold proclamation:"Cornavia first!". The opposition to supranational mechanisms in this proclamation is nothing new - after all, the Republican Party has historically been an advocate of opposition towards systems such as the Council of Nations, and Anderton himself is a member of Cornavia's New Lightbearers embodying these ideals.

However, what is significant is the proclamation's and Anderton's stance towards the issue of Cornavian identity. Whereas parties such as the ruling Commonwealth Party have historically described themselves as "patriots", and defined "patriotism" as adherence to the Commonwealth's central tenets such as the [WIKI]Four Freedoms[/WIKI], Lawrence Anderton's opening is a statement that this alone does not suffice and that people including immigrants should do more to conform to the traditional values of Cornavia and Scanogermania. "We shouldn't just throw the immigrants into our city estates and expect them to integrate", Anderton said in his Anston address, "We need to work to make them Cornavians." He also calls for stricter measures against those that don't want to adjust, suggesting easier deportations of those involved in extremist activities or crime and a proactive response to illegal immigration.

Not only is Anderton indeed a charismatic - and polarizing - figure in Cornavian politics, but his words also find audience among many native Cornavians. The country has nearly two million immigrants and persons of immigrant descent, many of whom are housed in urban areas such as Greater Southport, Whitehaven and Bremerholm. Integration troubles among some ethnic groups have led to what Anderton and other politicians calling for restrictions describe as white flight from immigrant-populated suburbs, together with increasing amounts of crime and social problems. Should Anderton oust Edmund Moreland in the Republicans' chairmanship vote on the 25th of September, it is likely that such critical voices will be more loudly heard from the party's ranks.

Lawrence Anderton's opponents deride him as an "un-Cornavian" populist looking to capitalize on difficult political issues for personal gain, as the Labour Party's chairman Stuart Fenwick put in a recent interview in one of Beacon Media's television channels. However, some analysts believe that he could be a serious contender for political power in the 2011 Parliamentary elections, particularly as Cabinet Chancellor Joanne Wainwright struggles against dissident voices inside her own party that are opposed against her foreign policy. Cornavians have traditionally prided themselves for the accepting and free nature of their society, but deeper issues loom beneath the surface.

Oikawa Awarded Contracts as Part of a New Economic Deal
AP Talemaniki

Today the Talemantine Empire finalized a new trade agreement with the Empire of Oikawa. Commerce Secretary Ottavia Questi announced the new agreement with the Talemantine stalwart ally. The tenets of the agreement include the selling of under-priced oil to the Eastern nation and the easing of trade restrictions between the two countries. Another part of the economic deal will be the awarding of new naval contracts to build replacements for those ships lost in the Jurzani war from Carentanian attacks.

Secretary Ottavia Questi

The new Secretary of War, Admiral Fabian Merici, announced the contracts at a press conference following his appointment to the office by the Chancellor. "While the war may be over our enemies are still at our gates and we must always be prepared. While we pray for the lives of lost soldiers and sailors we look to the future of a more powerful and efficient navy."

It is expected that Secretary Questi will travel to Nokanawa to over see the signing of the deal.

The expansion of Oikawan influence on the Himyarite continent is seen as highly worrying and will pose a serious blockade in any attempt of post-war reconciliation.

Vangala an important source of 'legal highs'
AP International

The People's Republic of Vangala is one of the primary manufacturers and exporters of new substances being marketed as 'legal highs' abroad, admits a report from the Dangerous Drugs Elimination Agency (DDEA), Vangala's national counter-narcotics unit. The document, an annual report to the Communist Party's leadership on the status of drug control efforts, does not advocate any course of action, although appears critical of the current situation.

Vangala is a well-known producer of narcotics. The cannabis plant and opium poppy grow wildly, particularly in the more unstable northern regions. Factories producing amphetamines have been found in slums surrounding the cities. Earlier this week, Franconia's Reichskriminalamt named Vangala as one of three main sources of illicit substances in Franconia, alongside Greater Samartia and the Republic of the South.

There has been a strong response from the ruling Communist Party. The People's Voice, the Party's mouthpiece, blamed demand in Western countries for the country's drug problems. The Vangalan Ministry of External Affairs also accused Franconia of undervaluing Vangalan efforts to fight drug traffickers.

Loose regulation has been attributed to Vangalan production of 'legal highs' as Vangala's existing drug legislation does not have a provision on analogues, meaning the production of substances structurally similar to illegal ones is not prohibited. Controversially, the report has suggested as many are manufactured as 'research chemicals', producing factories may be receiving government subsidies.

Radical leftists squat an office of mining group involved in a labour dispute
AP Southport-on-Sea

In Alderney, New Sutherland, an office building belonging to the Unity Group's central logistical center for the area has been taken over by radical left-wing activists. The company is currently engaged in a court-related labour dispute with Cornavia's National Mining Workers Union over the future of its coal extraction functions.

The Alderney City Police said that a four-floor building mainly housing offices related to the logistical services and subcontractor liaisons of the company had been intruded last night by a group of forty or so activists, who now have barricaded themselves inside of the building using office furniture recovered from the building. The breach occured last night, when groups of activists managed to enter the Alderney Unity Group Logistics Complex and eventually enter the chosen office building at the edge of the area. The City Police and Unity Group have not elaborated on the specifics of this breach, and denied rumors that security and police officers in the area had been diverted away by a false alarm.

However, the City Police confirmed that two activists had been detained on the scene by Sandown Security Solutions constables contracted to guard the complex, and that they are being charged with breaking and entering and resisting a licensed security officer. City policemen assisted by members of the New Sutherland Canton Constabulary's Civic Emergency Response Team are surrounding the squatted building.

The squatters have identified themselves as members of Communist Party of Cornavia-Post Vanguardist, a council communist left wing group, in Internet broadcasts made from the building. "The Alderney squatting is an act of solidarity to miners in New Sutherland in particular, and in general to everyone facing persecution and maltreatment at the hands of this reprehensible alliance of major capital and political power", said a masked spokesperson who identified himself as Delegate Francis, "By engaging in this act we've shown that no amount of lawyers and security guards can shelter the modern robber barons from the power of the people."

Members of the squatting group have posted updates about the situation in the building to the CPC-PV homepage. They've said that running water, telephone landline and Internet connections have been cut off by building management.

According to ACP Constable-in-Chief Terry Delaney, police forces are prepared to empty the building of the occupants if such a demand is made by Unity Group management. The company has issued a deadline of 48 hours for the squatters to vacate the building.

The Unity Group and National Mining Workers' Union are currently engaged in a labour struggle that has been taken to the New Sutherland Labour Court. Mining Union leadership has declined to comment on the squatting incident in progress in Alderney, where the affected facility has previously been blockaded by mining union activists. Rest of the logistical center is continuing operation, though CPC-PV and NMWU demonstrators are camped outside of the facility.

Bomb explodes in Downtown Talemaniki
AP Talemaniki

Today the capital of the Talemantine Empire was rocked as an explosion ripped through traffic near the Frezin Convention Center. The convention center was going to host a forum on the nations economy with personalities ranging from the Chancellor to many notable businessmen. With the number of prominent people at the forum security was high and every precaution taken into account.

However, despite the the security there was some tragedy. The bomb exploded just as the caravan carrying Secretary of Energy Aurelia Dal Pane passed by. It is expected that the secretary was the intended target as the timing was to coincidental. Witnesses said that just before the blast he saw a member of the Vangarian Guard, the forced charged with protecting the imperial family and member of state, chasing and apprehending a man running away from the scene.

The Vangarian Guard has not stated the identity of this lone suspect or if it is connected to the bombing. The Vangarian Guard has not also stated whether its raid on a building on the docks or its arrests of several individuals minutes before the bombing. The leader of the Vangarian Guard is expected to release a statement tomorrow.

Secretary Dal Pane survived the attack and is in intensive care at St. John's Memorial Hospital. Doctors expect a recovery though with some physical therapy. Among the deaths were two guardsmen, eight state police officers, and twenty-two civilians. There were thirty-one people injured by the attack.

Ahmadis refused official recognition
AP International

In another setback for the Ahmadi community in the People's Republic of Vangala, the Religious Affairs Authority has rejected requests from Ahmadi leaders for the religious movement to be recognised as a sect of Islam. While Ahmadis consider themselves themselves as Muslim, mainstream Muslims consider Ahmadi beliefs to be heretical. Analysts suspect the Religious Authority's decision is believed to have been partially motivated by fear of a backlash by orthodox Vangalan Muslims.

The Religious Affairs Authority is a body under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Sport responsible for the regulation and monitoring of religious activity in Vangala. It replaced the controversial Cults and Superstitious Beliefs Commission, although has been criticised by religious freedom groups.

Ahmadis face widespread persecution in Vangala and Islamic extremists have frequently targeted Ahmadi areas in their attacks. The authorities have also shut down Ahmadi mosques and imprisoned prominent Ahmadi clerics and scholars.

The right to freedom of worship is guaranteed in the Constitution of the People's Republic of Vangala and discrimination on the basis of religious belief is prohibited. Yet past campaigns by the Communist Party have explicitly attempted to exterminate religion and have left thousands dead. Since the beginning of economic and political reform in the 1980's, the situation has improved. However, this has mostly been only for Hindus and Muslims, who make up the majority of Vangala's population. For marginalised groups like the Ahmadis, it remains unchanged and the future looks bleak.

Boreoscepticism gains popularity among Cornavians
AP Southport-on-Sea

"What am I?", Lawrence Anderton, the new chairman of Cornavia's right-wing Republican Party asked as a response to a question by a Cornavian reporter. "A Boreoscepticist", the politician continued. A term which many have used to deride Anderton and his kind in a time the Commonwealth under Cabinet Chancellor Joanne Wainwright has been frantic in its campaign of involvement in the Northern Council and other international mechanisms, but which has now been embraced by Anderton and others as they move to challenge the ruling Commonwealth Party.

Boreas is the Hellenic word of the Northern wind, and thus "Boreoscepticism" has emerged as a portmanteau to describe growing domestic Cornavian opposition to the Northern Council and other international mechanisms such as the Council of Nations. While previously such stances were mainly expressed by the non-party affiliated New Lightbearer movement as well as individuals and sub-groups of the Cornavian political parties, mainly the Republicans and the Commonwealth Party, the Republican Party has since Anderton's election to chairmanship openly embraced these political ideas. In this year's Northern Parliament elections, the Republicans gained a 25% vote share upping their support by nearly ten percents, which has been attributed to the vocal stances the party has taken in regards to issues such as international integration and foreign immigration into Cornavia. Some analysts are already suggesting that the 2011 Commonwealth Parliament elections could mean that the Commonwealth Party would lose its Parliament majority for the first time since the Great War, and that the country might end up with a coalition government.

Indeed, recent polls show that only 64% of Cornavians are in support of membership in the Northern Council. The criticism against Northern Council membership stems largely from traditional Cornavian appreciation of sovereignity and independence, and the fears that the multi-national organization will challenge that sovereignity. In part, Cornavian Boreosceptics tie criticism exploiting such worries with traditional Cornavian symbols: For example, in response to the announced joint Northern Council license plate standard, the League of New Lightbearers announced the sale of "license plate bumper stickers" emulating current license plates used by different Cornavian Cantons.

In addition, the support for Boreoscepticists such as Lawrence Anderton ties in with distrust among particularly lower-class Cornavians for what they describe as "the elite" in Southport-on-Sea and Whitehaven. The Council of Nations and the Northern Council are both seen as such projects of the elite by many of those drawn to the ranks of the Republicans and others opposed to international integration by Cornavia.

Missile strike hits refugee caravan outside Sai Yok
AP Sri Rama

The Battle for Sai Yok has been ongoing for over a week, with combat continuing to be fought over Sinhai's fourth largest population center. Despite SDF warnings compelling civilians to remain within their homes for the duration of the conflict, many have gathered what little possessions they still have and attempt to flee every day. These convoys typically carry between 100 to 500 people, and ordinarily receive light military support, often in the form of an attack helicopter circling over the convoy like some guardian angel.

That was not the sight refugees today were privileged in viewing, however, when missiles struck several vehicles in the convoy; while the death count has not yet been confirmed, sources suggest that over ninety are dead, and scores more may die of their wounds from lack of urgent medical care. Sinhai Defense Forces were slow to respond to distress calls from the attacked caravan, and spokespersons for the SDF stated that the caravan was believed to be transporting insurgents and as such had to be treated as a high risk target.

Humanitarian workers outside the conflict zone currently assisting refugee camps have denounced the attack as an appalling example of the Sinese militaries unsavory tactics - the ultranationalist leadership has stated that this is just one of many attacks against civilians that the SDF has carried out throughout the war. General Silpajarn has promised a full investigation will be carried out into the matter to determine the cause of the attack and whether any mistakes were made in determining the risk assessment of the caravan. However, activists oppose the General's offer, calling for a third party to review the actions made by the SDF.

The People's Republic of Vangala strongly condemns the barbarous and inhumane actions of the Sinese Defence Forces and we demand the immediate end to military rule in the Sinhai Union. The sinking of a Vangalan scientific vessel and the murder of innocent Vangala sailors should have warned the international community about the dangerous nature of the Sinese military.

Sinhai: A revolution from above?
AP International

While the Sinese military has seen many victories over the past few weeks, most notably the surrender of the North, the nation prepares to wrest power away from the men and women who ensured the continuity of the Union. This revolution, however, will not come from below as so many have done before; but instead from above. The military itself is spearheading the reforms that will allow it to relinquish power, though what strings may be attached have yet to be fully understood.

Political analysts reviewing the Sinese Constitution, proposed by the civilian organ known as the Council of Constitutional Reform, or CCR, have stated that the Constitution is nothing "truly revolutionary", no major changes or modifications have been made that make the article significantly different from the majority of Constitutions found around the world. This is, however, a significant change from the previous document known as the General Mandate of the Unity Party, widely acknowledged as defunct since the last year of Marjhan Visariya's leadership. The previous document provided for a welfare state for the working, discriminating against the chronically unemployed, elderly, young, and homemakers. The new document not only drastically reforms the citizenship laws of the Oriental nation, but eliminates the previous single party state, allowing for a system which grants broad political rights, including universal suffrage.

The reform itself has been championed by the interim military leader General Phiyada as the "next step" in the evolution of the nation, and the leader is expected to begin implementing the document by Wednesday; allowing a week for changes to be made before the Constitution is ratified by a referendum on the 17th. Independent polling has concluded that the document itself is extremely popular, with approval rates rising to unprecedented levels exceeding 85% in areas not controlled by the military, and a surprising 50% in the Northern Military District, or NMD.

Multiple political parties have already registered with the military government and begun campaigns in preparation for what will be a process to fully elect the executive and both houses of the legislature. At the forefront of the political battle, People's Independence and Unity are expected to be the big winners. The Constitution provides for a two house National Assembly: a lower house comprising 200 seats elected by proportional representation, and an upper house representing the provinces, or changwat, with 2 representatives each elected directly by the people. This means that parties may be required to form coalitions outside of the restriction of simple percentages in order to control both houses.

Despite promises for reform, regional countries such as Vangala are skeptical that the Sinese military is actually willing to implement the reform. The People's Republic points to the fact that the SDF itself bears a rather tainted image after the massacre of Vangalan sailors in international waters and claims of attacks against civilians. Many outside observers are also concerned as to what strings may be attached once the reform is executed.

"Democracy is great," said a junior professor from a university in Franken, "but I'm skeptical that the military won't demand a 'supervisory' role in the new system. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that a 'National Security Council' is organized which maintains the right to do things like ban parties or officials or veto legislation." Despite this, economists are excited to know that economic policy will now have to be debated, instead of simply existing as an extension of a single party state.
