| The Imperial Government looks to its brother-state in Germania, the High Kingdom of Ivernia, a beacon most true of civilization, to take note of the increasingly belligerent and illegal activities of the Worker's Republic of Carentania. That country has seized mercantile vessels belonging to the Empire of Yujin and has threatened to close the Long Sea. These are all the hallmarks of a rogue state, in the opinion of Shahdara, and we seek consultation with our counterparts in Alderburgh. It is a known fact that our good friends in Ivernia have greater friends in lands on the other end of the Great Sea, as part of an alliance, and we would like to look to our friends in Alderburgh to understand the implications for global trade if communist hooliganism and terror tactics prevail. The behaviour of the Carentanians should further concern the Ivernian Government since a vast majority of oil from Sikandara, headed for Ivernia, uses the Long Sea shipping lanes. Any disruption, especially the type being threatened by the Carentanians would affect the economies of Sikandara and Ivernia very adversely. We are deeply concerned and looking for action on part of Ivernia, or other friends of the High Kingdom, to resolve the matter decisively. We are particularly concerned that the Carentanian Government may attempt to hijack oil tankers not meant for their nation and use Sikandari oil in ventures entirely against the spirit of Sikandari ideals and values.
