Your excellency,

Due to the fighting in Bourgogne, the Kingdom of Gunnland is relocating naval assets from the Straits of Mar to the Bay of Burgundy, in order to deny foreign naval units access to that body of water. We ask for the assistance of Salian naval and coast guard assets in this matter, both to inform the Army Council in Gunnland of the presence of foreign fighting vessels in international waters of Salen, and to deny their access to territorial waters in the narrow straits off Loonst.

Regards,

Anthony Gunn MacPherson
Foreign Secretary

States' Office for National Defence
Joint Naval Exercise and Relocating Naval Units / 6th August 2019

For the past month the USS Coast Guard alongside units from the First Gothic Sea Fleet have intensely guarded the Salian Narrow accessing the Bay of Burgundy, successfully deterring and withholding illegal crafts from entering the aforementioned Bay. however require a relocation of naval assets to the Western Gothic and Engellsea to help safeguard passage to and through the Engellsea and beyond, ensuring safe trade and commerce.

In order to secure control of the Bay of Burgundy the Office for National Defence calls for the organisation of frequent joint naval exercises in and near the Salian Narrow: with Curlan Royal Navy, Imperial Navy and the United Salian States' Navy taking part. A secure Gothic Sea and safe Bay of Burgundy is in the utmost interest of all three nations.
