It is in these times of great imperial struggle we must remind ourselves of the wise words of celebrated Vangalan revolutionary and freedom fighter Romesh Nabi - "A Socialist cannot be a Pacifist, he must fight against every injustice he sees". The violent explosion of big power politics in the West threatens to engulf the whole world in a global conflict, imposing unnecessary hardship on innocent peoples. The brutal campaign against Solaren has resulted in countless civilian deaths while the Engellexic invasion of Montelimar caused a massive refugee crisis. The future prosperity of the People's Republic of Vangala is now jeopardised by these petty capitalist wars. It is time for decisive action.

The Young Communist Organisation and Revolutionary Students' Association calls for renewed heroic efforts in the mould of the legendary campaigns of Romesh Nabi, who aided successful national liberation movements in both Toyou and Himyar. Mass mobilisation of the youth vanguard is required for the preservation of national sovereignty and expansion of socialism. Only through revolution can true peace be achieved.

> TOUR OF RDTO MEMBER-STATES ANNOUNCED
External Affairs Minister Ajoy Qamaruzzaman and National Defence Minister Nurul Banerjee are to visit the People's Republic of Vangala's friends in the Revolutionary Defence Treaty Organisation to uphold and strengthen existing ties but also expand co-operation into all spheres. Starting in Carentania and ending in Denisova, the tour will cover all alliance members.

Discussions on regaining peace and stability in Himyar following the conflict between Altai and Talemantros in the Carentanian capital of Rijeka have ended successfully after all attending nations, which included Vangala, released a jointly signed 6-point plan.

The People's Sea Force is to lead international efforts to establish a safe area in Altai for the protection of innocent civilians, who have been cruelly targeted by Talemantine forces and their rogue allies. A regiment from the People's Naval Infantry will be deployed to the town of Alesd, supported by Vangalan and Havenite ships.

National Development and Prosperity Commission announces economic stimulus

The People's Republic of Vangala will take bold and massive steps to ensure continued growth and counter the many problems facing the Vangalan economy as a result of warmongering and in-fighting amongst the Western capitalist powers. The National Development and Prosperity Commission has revealed extensive new measures to stimulate domestic demand and consumption while further guaranteeing the well-being and happiness of the Vangalan people, with increased spending on infrastructure projects and welfare programmes.

Under the proposals, more affordable housing will be constructed in urban zones and rural houses upgraded and rebuilt. Tribal and nomadic peoples will be encouraged to join local towns and villages and participate further in society. The clearing of illegal settlements, after being violently resisted by criminal elements, will be expedited and replaced with low-cost homes. More educational and medical facilities are also to be constructed, with a focus on deprived areas.

Industry will be supported by a new enthusiasm for innovation, leading to the development of a strong high-tech sector. Restrictions on loans will be relaxed, increasing the availability of credit to businesses, and state banks will be encouraged to lend to small and medium enterprises. Reforming the taxation system will be considered to reduce the corporate tax burden significantly. Road and rail networks will be greatly expanded, particularly in the northern regions and new airports are to be built for major cities. Energy grids across the country will be updated and consultation on the construction of dams for hydro-electricity will begin. Efforts to build the nuclear power plants will also be accelerated.

The National Development and Prosperity Commission has also acted to protect Vangala's unique and beautiful natural environment while also promoting economic growth. Pollution-control initiatives will be launched, with the aim to eliminate water pollution by the construction of sewage and rubbish treatment facilities. Subsidies for modern green technologies will also be increased, while national parks may be expanded to include area previously managed by the Ministry of National Defence.​

VANGALA LEADS RDTO MILITARY CO-OPERATION​

The People's Republic of Vangala is to lead military co-operation between socialist states and ensure the Revolutionary Defence Treaty Organisation becomes a progressive force in international affairs following bilateral discussions in Rijeka, the capital of the Worker's Republic of Carentania. External Affairs Minister Ajoy Qamaruzzaman and National Defence Minister Nurul Banerjee agreed to commit the People's Military to the pacification and liberation of Solaren, with extremist elements aligned to Pope Urban still resisting international forces. Both Minister Qamaruzzaman and Minister Banerjee are to also promote a new treaty between member-states of the Revolutionary Defence Treaty Organisation on their tour of the alliance, which promises greater military and intelligence co-ordination together with the establishment of joint military acadamies. The Ministers further succeeded in causing Carentania to reconsider its restrictions on arms sales, noting the possible benefits for the Carentanian economy and the growing defence ties between our two countries.

President Moheen Chatterjee has personally congratulated the successes of Ministers Qamaruzzaman and Banerjee and stated further integration with the Revolutionary Defence Treaty Organisation was necessary to guarantee Vangala's national security and prosperity, with Touzen's aggressive posturing over Vangala's peaceful nuclear energy programme and Yujin's persistent claims on Vangalan territory posing a severe threat to Vangalan sovereignty. President Chatterjee told People's Struggle he hopes increased co-operation amongst RDTO members and Vangala's continuing military modernisation will deter any future aggression against the People's Republic or in the case of an attack, result in the successful repulsion of the invader.

Full details of overseas deployments by the People's Armed Forces will be released by the Ministry of National Defence imminently. People's Struggle wishes all the brave soldiers of Vangala well for their future missions.

Carentanian left-sectarianism threatens revolutionary unity

Carentania threatens to revive old ideological divides and undermine revolutionary unity at a time of unprecedented imperialist expansion and conflict with its left-sectarian views and blatant attempts to meddle in Jurzani politics. Strident attacks by the Worker's Republic against Vanguardist thought and practice have deeply disturbed the People's Republic of Vangala, which has maintained the importance of alliance unity, with the Revolutionary Defence Treaty Organisation facing new enemies as it assumes its rightful place in world affairs.

In a special ceremony during an extraordinary session of the People's National Assembly, representatives from popular organisations in the United Motherland Front reaffirmed their committment to upholding the teachings of Aleksandr Vinokourov and Jadugopal Basu and supporting the guiding role of the Communist Party in continuing the revolution and achieving peace, prosperity and true independence. A separate motion recognised the differences between the systems of Carentania and Vangala but stressed the common goals of international revolution and global liberation.

President Moheen Chatterjee was highly offended by the Carentanian Commissariate for Foreign Affairs' insults and has personally summoned the Carentanian Ambassador in Kilkila to explain the outrageous comments. Carentanian statements revealed a dangerous misunderstanding of Vanguardism based on Western propaganda designed to isolate the People's Republic of Vangala and other revolutionary states, like Coronado and Kryoibaijan. Contrary to Carentanian claims, Vanguardism guarantees popular participation in governance by removing capitalist restorationists and other reactionary forces from the democratic process and limiting foreign influence.

The Constitution of the People's Republic of Vangala enshrines the rights to food, shelter, work and security, which are often ignored in the capitalist world, who instead promote negative, bourgeois interpretations of human rights. The proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Second Jurzani Republic would have not endangered the basic freedoms of the Jurzani people and Carentania's loud objections are a worrying display of big power politics. Carentania's crucial role in ending Georgian supremacism must not be forgotten, but does not justify continued meddling in Jurzani affairs. ​

It is an extremely reassuring gesture that the People's Republic of Vangala sees the Adrari Socialist Party's actions of national unity for what they really are - guaranteeing the safety and liberty of our people from capitalist agendas. Carentania has, for a long time, been considered the closest ally of the Second Jurzani Republic since the days of revolution. Their aid to our people stays forever in our hearts, however, things are coming to be seen for what they really are.

Carentania, who was more than thrilled when the Constitution that currently binds us was passed, now goes before the entire world and calls the ASP power hungry and accuses us of 'coup d'etat.' It is important to note that no country has accused us of such an action before Carentania. For Carentania to start a trend such as that is depressing to the relations between our two countries, which we now fear might never be the same.

We are personally offended that now that Carentania sees a problem with our nation permanently ending all attempts to surrender the liberty of the people in return for capitalists buying elections under the guise of freedom. They send in their own UCW to undermine the efforts of the Jurzani Government to safeguard liberty and we will not tolerate it. They threaten action against us and threaten the stability of the RDTO in a time when such stability cannot be questioned. We follow our constitution and if that displeases the Carentanians, then so be it. The Adrari Socialist Party, Supreme Chancellor Riaz Karimi, soon to be President Ayran Khalilzad, and our government is not an employee of Carentania and we do not work to please Carentania, we serve our people and we are committed to doing so.

Vangala's statements in approval of our actions will set in place a relationship that will grow stronger and stronger every day. May our two nations together see glory in a world that seeks so vigorously to destroy it.

BORDER DEFENCES SECURE PROMISE MILITARY LEADERS​

The border with the Republic of Yujin remains impenetrable, senior officers from the People's Armed Forces promised the National People's Assembly, as members of the Communist Party and other popular organisations in the United Motherland Front voiced concerns over border security following aggressive posturing by the Yujiner military. General Priyanshu Sen, Chief of the People's Armed Forces General Staff, vowed not a single Yujiner soldier would enter Vangalan territory and pledged an immediate review of defences, especially in the Meghalayan Mountains, with the possibility of increased deployments to the region.

Together with General Priyanshu Sen, Major-General Tapan Saha, Director-General of the Village Peace Force, appeared before the National People's Assembly, announcing extended long-range patrols to prevent enemy infiltration and greater co-operation with the People's Armed Forces to ensure Vangalan independence. Officers from People's Military Intelligence were also in attendance, informing People's Representatives on Yujiner espionage attempts and local commanders stationed in the border region were summoned to report on the status of their units.

The officers' appearance before the National People's Assembly follows massive Yujiner military manoeuvres, with live fire drills conducted near disputed border areas. The new ultra-nationalist regime in Yujin has attempted to create a regional crisis, with continual insults against the People's Republic and renewed claims on Vangalan soil. The People's Republic of Vangala has bravely attempted to maintain peace and stability in Toyou, but is sorely tested and will react to any Yujiner incursion with overwhelming force.

General Priyanshu also revealed plans for military exercises involving all services of the People's Armed Forces, with a focus on the defence of important sites and centres, with fears Vangala's peaceful nuclear energy programme may be targeted by Yujin. The last drills on on a similar scale were the Unvanquished Motherland wargames held in response to Yujiner naval deployments to the Bay of Vangala. National Defence Minister Nurul Banerjee, currently in Havenshire attending bilateral talks, is expected to return to Vangala to attend the exercises.
