Official Map Thread: Las Vegas v2.1 (20.5.2010—4.8.2010)
Here is the official map! This is the Las Vegas Edition. The name of the city location in the map title doesn't really matter anymore, as I've decided to discontinue alliance maps until we have three useful and active alliances. We currently only have two active alliances, and so there isn't a point in making an alliance map, so go look in the alliance threads.
To apply for a spot on the map please follow these instructions. Failure to do so results in a failure to get mapped.
Do not spam this thread! Do not post in this thread unless it is an application, or constructive to the development of the map! Do not strike conversation in this thread (There are plenty of other places including your local pub or club where real socialites might hang out. Also on occasion a few girls. Don't forget your Old Spice.). If you have suggestion for the map, or opinions, please do so in the appropriate thread. (

The Inactivity Hit-List® are the nations that will be deleted on the next update. To avoid deletion, you should roleplay more or announce your departure on the Absence Thread. However, those who "absence" themselves yet still post regularly on the OOC forums and make visits to the IRC are still considered "active" and liable to be hit-listed.

If you've been forgotten or left off the map, please re-post your application. This is also the first time I've done a political map. This was done via request. The bright colors reminded me more of Las Vegas than a map, but thus far those who have seen it have approved of it. For those with a keen eye, you'll notice it was built upon the base of the Los Angeles Edition. Regardless, feel free to lodge your own opinion in the proper thread.

- Name of Your Country
- Location (ID:#???)
- Have at least 20-40 posts and an acceptable display of roleplay activity.
- Name and location of up to three cities, capital city is encouraged, but not required.
- To have your cities included on the map, you must have 100 total posts in your post counter.
Map locations labeled with an ID# are fair play. Locations that are labeled with a HIST# require some background information to encourage locations of the map that maybe otherwise somewhat isolated to roleplay with other parts of the community, or to encourage a development of the forum's collaborative history. When applying for an ID#, please follow the instructions listed above. When applying for a HIST# please follow the proceeding instructions.
- Name of Your Country
- Relation to another Country
- Have at least 20-40 posts and an acceptable display of roleplay activity.
- Link to a thread that describes your nation, it's idea, and relation to other nations either around it, or colonial based.
- Include 2-4 cities, your cities will be automatically mapped.

Yeah, you are an old timer, but if you keep posting for a bit then I'll remove you from the list. Just making sure that you don't disappear randomly after getting on the map like some other old timers like to do... ala Lovisa.
If you read the fine print in the post you'll all notice that beneath a certain number of posts is required to get on the map. If you do not have that certain number of posts, then I may add you on the map anyway, but the general result will be that you'll start on the inactive list even though you may be active. This is to hopefully inspire the newer kids to stay active.
Stay active and I'll add you before the limit. Just you'll start on the inactive list...

Note#2: This policy is no different than old policies, just now it is can be publicly seen who is getting deleted so mysteries are avoided and this gives you a chance to get active again.
Las Vegas 1.1 will start something new. In-actives will be deleted. The list from that point onward will point to who will be deleted on the next update.—the goal is to promote roleplay, otherwise you are obstructing RP from occurring in a location of the world. What's the point of occupying a map space if you don't RP, eh? Don't know what to RP? Then perhaps you should revisit your national idea.
