“Ten Engellachian Sheriffs Assembly members vote not to enforce legislature’s ‘Human Commodity Act’, while three County Sheriffs in Upper Engellachia issue warrant for Karl Heydendahl’s arrest!”

*Two male and one female Sheriffs stand together holding up papers, music ends in crescendo and grey haired host ‘Ronald Wornick’ appears in a blue suit standing with papers in front of a moving display of the planet that settles on Westernesse*

“Citing that Dictator Karl Heydendahl illegally detained former Sylvanian President Jillian Snyder with private mercenaries, arranged for the contract and sale of an individual into international commodity, and accepted payment for trade of that commodity, three counties in Upper Engellachia have received approval from county judges to issue warrants for Heydendahl’s arrest should he set foot in these adjoining counties that make up the great northern fringes of the West Engell Republic.”

*Warnick turns sharply to another camera*

“The Thaumantican Alignment Committee and ruling Republicans in Vesper argue that Heydendahl’s actions adhere to his dictatorial directive to quote: ‘evolve criminal justice procedures to the working standards of Thaumantican Civilization’. Although Heydendahl is currently outside of the country, legal activists are petitioning county prosecutors around Engellachia to pursue the dictator on the same charges.

*Video shows protestors outside of Quest County Administrative Complex holding signs and banners saying: ‘Resist Otherkind Tyrants’, and ‘Arrest the Bloody Baron’. Warnick turns back to the first camera with a dull shrug.”

“Evacuated by airlift from the frontlines, Sergeant Barnes of the West Engell Combined Armed Forces is with us live by video satellite from a hospital bed in Hammersmith. Tell me how you got there, soldier?”

*Barnes has one eye wrapped and swelling on his face, his blanket has been removed to emphasizes a missing leg.*

“We were proceeding as a unit together through a village outside of Ouistreham that had been looted and by Burgundian Red Insurgents. What we didn’t know was that they had rigged the village with explosives, booby traps, so when a battle buddy of mine attempted to do dignity to a civilian corpse by removing it from being face down in the street he triggered an explosive that killed him and maimed me.”

*Warnick nods from back in the studio in Vesper*

“You are eligible for medical discharge and permanent disability. Are you excited to return to your homeland alive?”

*Barnes labors to stand but cannot*

“Negative, sir! I’ve asked to stay in uniform to advocate for this mission by touring the Four League Nations when I am healthy enough to do so. Young men and women need to know the importance of this campaign, its lethal cost, and how ruthless the enemy will be here if we do not defeat them over there!”

*Broadcast transitions to commercial break for Hogan-North Star with a gritty voice: ‘It’s cost us blood, sweat and tears. Two centuries of mining and a half century of drilling combine now to create jobs, wealth, and opportunity. It was worth it.”

I wouldn’t call it metaphysical or magical, but this guy in the South can see what’s comin’ next and I tell you what he is doing all of us a favor by cutting off replacement parts and ammunition to the WER war effort.

That might sound traitorous or unfair to our boys in blue across the Thaumantic in Neustria, but what business did Karl Heydendahl have selling their bodies and the soul of this country for a billion pounds that we know about, and unknown sums more that we have yet to discover. And listen, I respect that Heydendahl- creep and dictator that he is - put his life in there too by traveling into enemy territory to try and negotiate deals for the civvies, no one else in the Domain did that, but there are thousands of young men and women patriots dead and cremated over there for no good reason at all.

Ya see, and listen real good, freedom and liberty is taken by those who truly desire it from the tyrant who enslaved them, it can’t be given by even the greatest intending foreign outsider. Look at Heydendahl and his volk, they don’t want freedom on Eisgarten - they recoil from it like the plague. I go down there and heck, it’s beautiful - active volcano and all, great cliffs and hot springs you can dip your little tootsies in for now - but they won’t even reciprocate a damn concealed carry down there, so leave your peashooter at home if you wanna visit, phew!

Then look at the way their taxes are, everything on that forsaken island, again as enchanting as their lady folk and nature may be, is earmarked with some nanny state environmental charge. It’s sick! This ain’t Communist Serenierre, this is the West Engell Republic, and we eschew unnecessary illegitimate taxes! Enough with these people, seriously.

And don’t get it twisted folks, Ash Breckenridge dun’ stepped on some toes to make this mighty move. We buy Sylvanian rifles here, always have and will again, engraved with Wildman logos or this or that’s talkin’ quotes from the forefathers of the Revolution . . But now we’re cut off from our private contracts, and that’s enough to go to war over in normal times. Ash Breckenridge: you have taken a step down the stairwell towards tyranny, there I said it, and I like ya bud. And while he sees with that mighty eye that he can cut Heydendahl off from Gallo-Germanic conquest, there are a few million gun enthusiasts, whether they know they are yet or not, who will need gunpowder and steel in the months and years to come up here in Engellachia.

I’mma have to go there personally I think, I said I would a few months ago and now y’all probably think I’m a liar, but I’m not - I WILL fly down to Charleroi, I WILL stand out front of the President’s house with a bullhorn reciting the words of our founding fathers, I WILL never rest until freedom is won and I uhh . .
