You may strike Twente from that list. It would indeed have been bonkers if Twente controlled that piece of land and not being successful in converting or applying a final solution on its population.

After having my morning coffee I've thought of a slightly different scenario, not involving Twente directly, but the Knights of Saint Wittekind and the Saxon Steed(Military order, defenders of the Saxon Catholic Church). In times of excess and overzealousness(19th century), they could have swooped in, occupied the land for the order and treated the non-Christian population...euh...poorly. Like the Ottomans did to the Armenians, for comparison. Similarly, in current days, Twente nor the order would acknowledge or admit to any form of genocide happening ever. Nor will I RP about it...It's not part of my history, but it may be of yours.

Another alternative is we could claim the inhabitants are ethnically Carpathian, or are at least Carpathian-speaking, and in the naivety that accompanies such awakening movements which befell the Southern Slavic peoples they were maybe occupied or held under Carpathia for a time before gradually coming under EE influence(perhaps recently during the Carpathian Civil War) which they would hold a greater connection due to either a cultural or religious kinship.

Regardless of the results of this discussion, it is my hope that at least a small portion of by border remain with Ujorszag in order to allow the RP in "Just a drill..." to not be significantly altered or retconned.

As for the exclave's survivability in regards to how the Dansk Imperium would react, I feel as though the Dansk would have been willing to tolerate its existence so long as it did not pose a threat to Dansk mainland interests. The focus was likely, at this time, in securing colonies abroad rather than expanding territory on the mainland. Depending on the ethnic composition of the exclave, the Wendowie would have a similar attitude of tolerance so long as no threat was posed. If the composition has a significant portion of Wendowie, or to a lesser extent Slavs, on the other hand, they would be less tolerant and more willing to push for annexation of the territory, not that they could do much about it previously due to the Dansk administration.

Not sure if you are still here, but I guess at this point I am just fine with this for now. Let's just get RP of any sort going and figure out the history and circumstances behind this later on. Operate under the assumptions you made and once the RP is done we can think about how we want to ultimately set this up.
