The incident has since caused great distress for the emperor personally, and when it occurred to His Majesty that no local sighting of his beloved companion known as Barley, was reported, this then served to darken the emperor’s depressed mood. ​

Therefore, in writing this, I am appealing to your government to ask if any sighting of a dog of black fur, wearing a red collar and standing at about half-metre tall has been made on your side. The dog is suspected to be on a cargo ship that has since left Angliarique, the problem being we do not know which ship. ​

It is in the interest of maintaining what peace there is left in the world that we have come to ask for the Federation assistance in Frescania. Our former foes that we find ourselves interestingly enough on the same side of this issue will be of the greatest aid in resolving the economic, and humanitarian issues that have been caused by the Republic of Tianlong. The troops we have deployed to Frescania that carried out the rescue mission of lady Pembroke and securing the site of the disasterous attack on the Anglians have carried out several dives to investigate the scenes since this has all happened.

The Republic of Tianlong did not just stop itself at bombarding the museum fleet with shells, it had gone so far as carrying out demolition and scuttling of the antiquated carriers in the harbor. This malicious intent by the foreign power thousands of miles from Gallo-Germania shows that we must be a united front, we must act accordingly, and refuse them the ability to further act on our continent. Emperor Konstantin requests that the Federation joins in sanctions and calls for the Republic of Tianlong to vacate all military power from the Gallo-Germanian region, repatriate those whom it has taken prisoner, and pay for the damages it has caused. We also request from the Federation a salvage team to be dispatched to Frescania to aid in carrying out the refloating of the carriers so they may be moved, hopefully, back to Anglia, but at minimal out of the harbor to a safer location to sink if at worst.

TO: Tarusan Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

The Federation government is unhappy with the unilateral action that has been taken by Tianlong. We agree that Tianlong must stay out of Gallo-Germanian affairs and we are suspicious of it's build up of troops in Ebria, we will call for them to leave. While publicly imposing sanctions on Tianlong will pose many concerns in the Federation Government, we are prepared to do so in ways that are not so public and not so direct, perhaps in targeting CETO nations and other nations which harbor Tianese troops and other military assets. We feel that the best way to strike at Tianlong is to strike at it's closest allies.

The ecological disaster that the destruction of the Anglian museum fleet is concerning. already we can see via satellite photography that fuel is leaking into the bay in which the fleet was docked. We are ready to issue a condemnation against Tianlong for not cleaning up the mess they have created. Our salvage teams will be sent from our nearby fleet to begin the clearing of the carriers as well as a team of experts at cleaning oil spills.

We look forward to working with you, our former enemy, at bringing peace back to region once again. We also suggest talks about what to do with Angliarique, the unstable nature of their leadership is a large part of why this happened in the first place. It is my understanding that the Communal Order has already counseled them on their actions and that they are not very receptive to logic. It may come to pass that they will have to be dealt with in some way or another.

Instead they make themselves look like a rogue nation with angry, powerless tyrant at the helm. The Federation will not tolerate unnecessary grandstanding in the Silk Seas, not by rogue states and most certainly not by major powers. In response the Federation will conduct a multi-week drill consisting of naval operations, amphibious landings and ICBM deployments and SLBM deployments to simulate a multi pronged shock and awe strike on an enemy nation. The future area of operations will be announced shortly before the beginning of the drill as a courtesy to nations in the area. We expect any future drills and missile tests by Tianlong to be announced through the Tianese embassy to the Federation, failure to do so shall lead to consequences for Tianlong and it's people.

This Pressburg Pact is, in our eyes, nothing more than a new destabilizing force in the same vein as the former Gothic Sea Pact. The Tarusan Empire is once again taking advantage of the turbulent times that have been brought about by Angliarique foolishness and Tianese infantile impotency.

Make no mistake, this statement does not only serve to express our disappointment in the new Tarusan leadership. Where it not for the Tianese leadership's need to prove it's relevancy on the world stage in a murderous fit, Angliarique would not have sought out an alliance with Tarusa and cooler heads could have found a way to defuse the situation. Therefore we officially condemn Tianlong for it's rashness and shortsightedness. Should this situation spiral out of control, no doubt, historians can point to the main culprit in helping it along. The Imperial Government under the leadership of Konstantin is forming its new policies while carrying over some that Konstantin himself believes in from all of his predecessors, including the policy of providing aid and security to those whom ask it when military action is being undertaken by rogue elements in the Democratic world like had been done against the Kingdom of Csengia.

So the Federation is correct in the fact that this relationship with Angliarique would have been significantly less likely to have developed had it not been for the blatant Tianese attacks against a defenseless antiquated ceremonial fleet in the Frescanian waters and its economic warfare it seeks to wage against the small nation. The Pressburg Pact has been around for a long time since before this crisis, it provides not only an umbrella to militarily aid this small nation and ensure it does not get trampled by larger nations that would take advantage of its weakness compared to theirs to replace their regnal regime with something they fancy more, it also confers greater economic benefits with those member states that are members of it than would be received otherwise.

We would say there is no worries of war in the Thaumantic, however this would be a lie. War has already came to the Thaumantic brought on by the Republic of Tianlong against the Anglian people.

To our comerades in the Federation, we hope that we can offer you some degree of clarification concerning the Spascirian workers in Oltremare. We must be clear that the workers from @Angliarique are here voluntarily and that their conditions of employment, pay, and benefits are in line with our own rigidly enforced standards as well as that of workers in the Federation, adjusting for PPP.

In Angliarique, the Spascirians are a put upon, effectively enslaved minority. However, some are granted the privilege of working abroad to earn hard currency for the government and slightly better wages for themselves. This exchange program is voluntary, and it is one of the few times when members of this put upon minority are given any agency. They did not just want to come to the Most Serene Republic, it was a privilege for them to do so.

Renualt-Manifattura Tropicale has honored their commitments to human rights and to Radilan labor law, something we both know has strong enforcement mechanisms. These workers are being paid a fair wage of 28 lira a day (adjusted for PPP, this is more than 110 euromarks) plus benefits (including housing, food, healthcare, and liquor). I have seen the conditions that these laborers live and work in, and they are above the minimum required by contract.

While these impoverished people are exploited by their government, they are treated well by our government, our society, their employer, and they have a union to fight for them. Even my fellow citizens have taken them in warmly. Recently, the Engellex Archbishop of the Meridian, has created a Protestant parish in the village they work in, so they can fully practice their faith. It is a shame that they could not take their families with them, otherwise I figure many would defect to the Republic.

I ask you, comerades, to speak with your government and help clarify their misunderstanding. Such sanctions will only hurt the people you are trying to protect, as they will discourage RMT and other Radilan firms from bringing over even more workers who might benefit from this present arrangement. We welcome you to come meet with these workers, you can even bring a camera with you so long as you blur their faces.

In solidarity, I ask that you appeal to your government to find a more nuanced way to handle these present concerns.

We thank you for your message however we cannot offer the solidarity that you seek. Indeed the Spascirians are put in a dire situation that we wish we could relieve with all the power available to us, but we struggle to agree that they come to your nation willingly. Who would not choose to work as wage slaves in Radilo over the crushing poverty of otherness they find in Angliraique. No doubt they are happy to come to Radilo's shores and till the fields and sow the crops for whatever wages your agreements set for them. No doubt that when they hear of bargaining units and collective bargaining agreements, these words and concepts pass in one ear and out the other as they salivate at the idea of having a full meal for once in their lives. Yes, you are improving their lives, that much is obvious, however the life of a maximum security prisoner is markedly improved by his transfer to a minimum security facility, we ask, what is really the difference? We also ask, what happens to a Spascirian who refuses to honor the agreement you have with Angliarique and be sent home? Would you bring yourself into conflict with another nation to stop this poor soul from returning to his former prison?

The NFWW will not heed your request to convince our government to release the sanctions, we shall instead use our power to lobby them to do more to free these poor souls from slavery in Angliarique and in Radilo.

The Federation condemns the sneak attack on Tianese naval assets in the Bonaventure bay. Using cargo ships flying flags of peace and trade to attack is a cowardly action. We demand that Angliarique and Tianlong call a cease fire and come to the table to negotiate before further pigheadedness by both sides creates a wider global conflict. We offer facilities in Charleroi to be the background for negotiations for peace.

Furthermore the Federation will cease all trading with Angliarique and deny entry to Angliarisian ships into ports within any and all Federation territory, any Angliarisian ship approaching Federation military assets at sea or based in allied nations will be seized and searched.
