[MENTION=877]Franken[/MENTION]: As the wound of loosing Vangala is still fresh and hurts it's unlikely Franken's CVP will accept the People's Republic as legitimate for the time being. However, it would tolerate a pragmatic stance by Eiffelland towards Vangala. IIRC the US has its consular and diplomatic services in Iran run through the Swiss embassy - I could imagine something similar for Franken and Eiffelland.

Then one question remains. [MENTION=52]Vangala[/MENTION], when did the People's Republic of Vangala start to exist?

OOC: And of course my last post here disappeared as well. Eiffelland recognises the government of the United Princely States of Vanagala as the legitimate government of Vangala, but also recognises the People's Republic of Vangala as the actual government of Vangala. In practice, the People's Republic of Vangala will be treated as the legitimate government of Vangala, if it is up to me then also with an embassy of the People's Republic of Vangala in Eiffelland and an Eiffellandian embassy in Vangala. In that case, the Eiffellandian embassy in Vangala will represent Franken in Vangala as well, in the same way as IRL Switzerland represents the USA in Iran.

Perhaps a non-traditional diplomatic representative could have been by appointed by the Eiffellander government to deal with the People's Republic of Vangala, while an Ambassador has been maintained to the United Princely States?

In that case, I would prefer to have an ambassador both at the People's Republic of Vangala and at the United Princely States.
