Govt. MPs see power slipping in Parliament The political leadership of the progressive-IeD is being inundated with notices from its parliamentary members, pointing out instances of delay occurring in legislative affairs due to the lack of a majority in the Parliament. Pointing to recent private bills being crushed in Parliament, the MPs have demanded that the Government placate the Labour Party and ensure their return to their seats. Reports of a possible deal between the IFI and the Imperial Party have done little to calm the anxiety prevalent among the ruling party – which is on the cusp of passing important measures at the end of December. | Potenza unhappy with wheat import, farmers shocked Domestic farmers and agriculturalists are shocked by reports emerging from Potenza that the Gallic country is not satisfied with the quality of wheat it has imported from Sikandara and is considering to look to other suppliers. The impact of any such abrupt change in trade figures would harm the already delicate national economy and the Ministry of Agriculture has begun measures to ensure that Sikandari wheat continues to find a market abroad – as a preventative measure against any Potenzan decision. | Foreign governments praise anti-communist resolution While the domestic reaction to the anti-communist resolution in Parliament has been mixed, international praise is showering on Sikandara for what is being perceived as a much needed move – one in which Sikandara has far outpaced other nations in. Two governments in particular have used the resolution as an opportunity to invite Sikandari officials to their capitals to conduct talks aimed at furthering the bilateral relationships between their countries and Sikandara. The Government has not announced who will lead the delegations but has accepted the invitations. |
