Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth: The Cardinal-Archbishop de Merteuil (the Eminent Docteur François de Montmorency) was received in audience by The Queen this morning. The Duchess-Peeress de Condé was also in attendance.

Mssr. René Voyet (Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon, where Her Majesty was pleased to confer the Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Saint-Louis & Sainte-Elisabeth. Mme. Voyet was also received by Her Majesty.

21 May

Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth: The Queen arrived in Vendôme this morning, and was received by Mssr. Anthony Hurde (Provost of Vendôme). The Duchess-Peeress de Condé (Mistress of the Robes) and Mssr. Antoine Pompidou (Equerry-in-Waiting) were also in attendance. Her Majesty made a visit to the Queen Marie-Sophie’s Academy (14 Rue de Blanc, 98143 Vendôme), where The Queen visited classrooms. Her Majesty then made a visit to the Lycée Brussels de Vendôme (23 Place Brussels, 98143 Vendôme), where Her Majesty was received by Mme. Marie Thurn-Carrington (Principal) and given flowers. Mme. Thurn-Carrington escorted The Queen throughout her visit, where she took part in a lesson of History. The Queen concluded her visit with a Banquet hosted by Mssr. Hurde at his residence.

Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth: The Queen held Council at 12:00 pm. Present were the following: the Most Noble Viscount de Suroz (Lord President of the Council), the Most Honorable Albert Coïdavid (Prime Minister and Secretary of State for the Civil Service), the most Honorable Victor Guyon (Secretary of State for the Treasury), the Most Noble Count de Cöez du Barche (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs), the Most Honorable Guillaume Tufts (Chief Justiciar of the Realm), the Most Honorable Nicolas Arthaud (Secretary of State for the Interior), and the Most Honorable Xavier Bastien (Secretary of State for Public Works).

Hôtel de Blanchefoucauld: The Duke de Bon hosted a Banquet on behalf of the staff of the Foreign Civil Service this evening. Also in attendance was The Duchess de Champagny, The The Duchess de Bon, and Prince Louis-Philippe de Bon.

Fabrice de Talleyrand (Her Majaesty's Ambassador to Tiburtina) and Mme. de Talleyrand. Also in attendance was The Duchess-Peeress de Condé (Mistress of the Robes) and Mssr. Antoine Pompidou (Equerry-in-Waiting).

Her Majesty was received by the Most Honorable Gentleman Albert Coïdavid (Prime Minister and Secretary of State for the Civil Service), the Most Noble Count Cöez du Barche (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs), and the Cardinal-Archbishop de Merteuil (the Eminent Docteur François de Montmorency).

The Queen, accompanied by The Queen Dowager, The Duchess de Champagny, The Princess Catherine and The Duchess de Bon, attended a performance of the Merteuil Philharmonic Orchestra this evening. Their Majesties and Their Royal Highnesses were received by Mssr. Darnelle Laurent (Director), who escorted them to the Royal Box.

27 May

Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth: The Most Honorable Albert Coïdavid (Prime Minister and Secretary of State for the Civil Service) was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon.

Hôtel Saint-Felix: The Princess Catherine visited The Merteuil Royal Gardens this afternoon, where she planted a tree. Her Royal Highness was received by Mssr. George Vaudé (Director) and Mme. Vaudé.

Hôtel de Blanchefoucauld: The Duke and Duchess de Bon visited the Polignac Museum of Art, 194 Avenue Polignac, 86013 Merteuil this morning, where Their Royal Highnesses were received by Mme. Beatrice de Polignac (Governor of the Board of Trustees). The Duke and Duchess were given a tour of the completed renovations and concluded the visit with a banquet with Trustees and Staff.

Jean-Paule Songréire was also received in audience by Her Majesty. The Most Noble Count Cöez du Barche (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) was also in attendance.

The Queen, accompanied by The Duchess de Champagny and The Duchess de Bon, visited this afternoon L'Académie des Beaux-Arts (14 Rue de Saint-Felix, 86017 Merteuil). Her Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses were received by The Marquis de Villepin (Secretary of State for the Arts), Mssr. Alexandre Chombéliard (Minister of State for the Arts), and Mssr. Antony Omnibes (Director). The Queen, The Duchess de Champagny and The Duchess de Bon were given a tour of the renovated facility and observed several classes. Her Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses each planted a new tree in the facility's garden.

Château d'Espeyrac: The Queen, accompanied by The Duchess-Peeress de Condé (Mistress of the Robes), arrived this morning, where Her Majesty will hold Court.

Hôtel de Blanchefoucauld: The Duke and Duchess de Bon arrived in Haraldsburh, Dietsland to attend the funeral of The Prince Waldr. Their Royal Highnesses were received by Mme. Elisabeth Songréire.

Hôtel Saint-Felix: The Duchess de Champagny and The Princess Catherine arrived in Trier, Eiffeland this morning to attend the Wedding of Prince Wolfgang of Eiffeland and Princess Antonia de Bourgogne. Their Royal Highnesses were received by Mssr. Jacques Laffitte Garnier (Ambassador to Eiffelamd) and Mme. Laffitte Garnier. Also in attendance was Mssr. Alexandre de Roche-Sur-Yon (Equerry-in-Waiting) and The Baroness Destomb van Groll (Lady-in-Waiting to The Duchess de Champagny).

Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth: The Most Honorable Albert Coidavid was received in audience by The Queen this morning and tendered his resignation as Prime Minister and Secretary of State for the Home Civil Service which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to accept. Madame Coidavid was also received by The Queen.

Her Majesty subsequently received in audience the Most Noble Count de Cöez du Barche (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) and requested him to form a new Government. The Most Noble Count accepted The Queen's offer and kissed hands upon his appointment as Prime Minister. Madame de Cöez du Barche was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen, by Royal Seals, was pleased to create and confer the title of Prince of Yvetot to The Prince Louis-Philippe de Bon.

Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth:The Suite of His Royal Highness The Prince Philippe of Tiburina was received in audience by The Queen this morning. His Excellency Mssr. Lucca de Brognna (Ambassador of Tiburtina) and The Most Noble Viscount Dominique Dessalines de Vaubourg (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) were also in attendance.

At 10:00 am The Queen Dowager, The Duchess de Champagny and The Princess Catherine, rode in The Merteuil State Coach from Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth to Notre-Dame de Merteuil. Thye were followed by The Duke and Duchess de Bon, The Prince d'Yvetot, Prince Henri de Bon and Princess Marie-Claire de Bon, all of whom rode in The Saint-Pierre COach. The were escorted by the Gendarmes de la Garde. Upon arrival at the Royal East Door of the Cathedral, they were greeted by Mssr. Armande Finch (Seargeant-at-Arms). They then took their seats in The Royal Box.

At 11:00 am The Queen, escorted by the Gardes de la Manche, Gardes du Corps and the Musquetaires de la Garde, rode in the Cœurlois State Coach from Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth to Notre-Dame de Merteuil. Her Majesty was accompanied by The Prince Philippe of Tiburtina, The Duchess-Peeress de Condé (Mistress of the Robes), and Mssr. Lucca de Brognna. Upon arrival at the Royal East Door the Royal Trumpeters sounded the arrival of The Queen and the Royal Standard was raised. There, she was received by The Cardinal-Archbishop de Merteuil (the Eminent Docteur François de Montmorency) and Mssr. Pierre-Olivier de Montespan (Mayor of Merteuil).

At 12:00 pm Royal*Mass was held, led by the Cardinal-Archbishop de Merteuil.

At 1:00 pm The Queen, escorted by the Gardes de la Manche, Gardes du Corps and the Musquestaires de la Garde, rode in the Cœurlois State Coach from Notre-Dame de Merteuil to Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth. Her Majesty was accompanied by The Prince Philippe de Tiburtina.

The Queen Dowager, The Duchess de Champagny and The Princess Catherine, rode in the Merteuil State Coach from Notre-Dame de Merteuil to Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth. They were followed by The Duke and Duchess de Bon, The Prince d'Yvetot, Prince Henride Bon and Princess Marie-Claire de Bon, all of whom rode in The Saint-Pierre State Coach. They were escorted by the Gendarmes de la Garde.

At 2:00 pm The Queen, accompanied by The Queen Dowager, The Duchess de Champagny, The Princess Catherine, The Duke and Duchess de Bon, The Prince d'Yvetot, Prince Henri de Bon and Princess Marie-Claire de Bon, stood from the Balcony of Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth. The 1st Grand Squadron, Royal Air Force, made a flyby over the Palace.

At 8:00 pm The Queen hosted a Royal Banquet.

15 August 1954

Palais de Sainte-Elisabeth: The Queen made a Speech from The Throne this morning in the Chamber of Peers, Palais National. The Prince Philippe of Tiburtina was also in attendance. A Luncheon was held following her speech, where His Royal Highness made a Toast in Her Majesty's honor.

The Suite of His Royal Highness The Prince Philippe of Tiburtina departed for*Château d’Espeyrac this afternoon. Mssr. Lucca de Brognna (Ambassador of Tiburtina) and Mme. de Brognna are also in attendance to His Royal Highness.

The Queen hosted a Garden Luncheon this afternoon.

Château d’Espeyrac: The Queen, accompanied by The Queen Dowager, The Duches de Champagny, The Princess Catherine, The Duke and Duchess de Bon, The Prince d'Yvetot, Prince Henri de Bon and Princess Marie-Claire de Bon, arrived this evening.

The Queen hosted a Dinner at Château d’Espeyrac this evening in honor of Prince Philippe of Tiburtina.

Hôtel Saint-Felix: The Duchess de Champagny, accompanied by Mssr. Geoffroy Chodron de Courcel (Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bangala), formally opened the Cœurlois Garden in Bassakusu this morning. Her Royal Highness then made a walkabout.

The Princess Catherine, Honorary Member, attended a Luncheon for the All-Girls Society of Bangala at the Cœurlois Embassy, Bassakusu this afternoon.

The Duchess de Champagny gave a Dinner in the evening at the Embassy for leading members of the Cœurlois community in Bassakusu.
