WARNING ISSUED TO BATAVIË

KREPOST ROSS — Today the Tsarina issued a warning to the Government of Batavië in public which is bound to stir some glances from the international community. The warning which could be seen more as an ultimatum stated,

"The Tsardom of Shcherbatskaya advises the Batavian People's Republic to ask and/or accept Council of Nations peacekeepers to address their own national duress. A warning is also to be issued that failure to comply may result in a swift and hostile environment to provided at the leisure of the Commanders of the Army. We do hope that the Batavian decision is made with in 48 hours, else severe consequences will likely incur."​

The message which was written in haste claims the Foreign Ministry, was penned by the Tsarina herself and sent via an open channel and subsequently released to the public on the Foreign Ministry website. (shcherbatskayafa.gov.sh) The Foreign Ministry did not return any phone calls in relation to this report.

This rather open declaration has led many to wonder if it is something to be said of a signal to the Alliance of Greater Europe which has failed to act proactively in the international community. The Foreign Ministry yesterday stressed that AGE needed to straighten itself out or face an irreversible change to the world order.

While Shcherbatskaya has been quiet herself in recent weeks this is not unusual as January is historically a busy month as many Ministries compile their end of the year statistics.

Reports also suggest that the Shcherbatskayan Tsarist Navy has sent ships towards Batavië, although the exact ships and the numbers have been withheld by the Government.​

The Tsardom of Shcherbatskaya considers the processes of the Council of Nations to be slow and ill-suited for a dramatic and rapidly progressing crisis. The Tsardom will not instigate any conflict but will use all of the resources at her disposal to force the retreat of communism and to contain the spread of communism. Additionally Shcherbatskaya will respect the decisions of the Council of Nations, and will abide, should a Council of Nations decision require us to withdraw our current policy.

Additionally we find it prudent to note that we find it ill-advised that the Oikawan Empire endorse inaction as it will only propagate a communist regime.

COUNTERING THE FOREIGN IMPERIALIST THREAT

KREPOST ROSS — Originally the mission in Batavië was simple. To send a small group of ships to Batavië to maintain a security zone to be patrolled by the Tsarist Navy. The Tsarina wished to secure the Spa Republic from foreign communist forces.

In response the international community decided to begin their reign of terror. Started by the most imperialistic dictatorship in the world in the Oikawan Empire, entire naval fleets are sent in favor of the Communists in Batavië. Specifically looking at the Oikawans, their policies have been entirely based around the prevention of Shcherbatskayan security policy.

"It is without a doubt that Oikawa is in support of Communism. They may do so knowingly or not, but have decided to counter Shcherbatskayan Communist prevention measures by looking to overpower our initial naval deployment. In response to this obvious bit of imperialism, the world has perhaps rightfully decided to counter this Oikawan threat. Now Kyivan, Austur, and Shcherbatskayan ships all roam in the same area. On top of this nations like Coronado wave a large stick threatening action. If there is war there is no one else to blame but the single most destabilizing threat in the world, the Oikawan Empire", stated an ambassador to a Scanian nation who requested anonymity.​

In response the Tsarina has agreed to shipments of arms to the Spa Republic. Her decision being influenced by the separation line given by the Batavians who seem to have admitted to a loss of their control in the northern locales of their nation. Spa has yet to state whether or not they'll accept such shipments or even if they've been notified of such a notion.

The Kremlin hasn't decided whether or not they are willing to commit to a war; however, the Kremlin did decide to send the Shcherbatskayan 1st Carrier fleet which was on patrol in the Great Sea to the Northern Spa location late last night.

The 2nd Carrier Fleet located in the Implarian Ocean is said to be moving Northwest to patrol for possible Oikawan task fleets blazing a trail to Shcherbatskaya.

"The Oikawans are reckless. They'll charge for Krepost Ross and invade Oltremare without even thinking of the consequences. Oikawa still thinks we are in 1950, a world between AGE and the LFS and the world must be wary of such attitudes."​

The Foreign Ministry delayed the publishing of this article utilizing the twenty-four hour government hold rule, only to later comment that the Foreign Ministry does not hold the comments of this anonymous ambassador to be the policy of the Tsardom of Shcherbatskaya.

Given that the Batavian Republican Army is currently in a cease fire with the De Graaf regime and has so far shown willingness to work with the Council of Nations, the Shcherbatskayan offer of arms can only destabilize the situation.

However, the Anbati government feels inclined to conclude that a concrete solution to the Batavian dilemma should require more than a mere line of separation run by international troops, even if such a solution should not be implemented against the will of the Batavian people.

The High Commissariat, sub-legislative authority within the most serene Commonwealth of Coronado and Ferèzanno, in co-operation with the Presidium of the Commonwealth tabulate the following findings following extensive deliberation within the inner legislative branch. All findings correspond accordingly with the will of the unified Conarron people and their eternal republic.

The Presidium finds the position as reported by the Shcherbatskayan-based 'Chronicle of Current Events' to be that of merit. However, the Presidium acknowledges in earnest the previous position having been established by the self labeled-'Tsarist' security forces in addition to the actions orchestrated by their Oikawan counter-parts. In concord through the unified collegiate within the Commonwealth's legislative branch, in conjunction with the High Commissariat, the Presidium finds the reactionary approach towards another party of the same intentions to such of the most hubris hypocrisy. The Presidium is not committed towards the opinion of an Imperial intervention in the favor of Bolshevists, though the Presidium cordially salutes the Tsarist government for it's keen wariness. The cancer of Bolshevism can only be countered through caution and direct amputation of the stigmatized zone.

The Presidium further finds the reaction towards the Oikawan observer fleet to be that bordering excess; with conditions such as the abrupt Austurlander (spelling varying, contact Ministerial Reception for amendment) own carrier battle group playing into the scenario. It can only be noted that all parties yet involved have not yet begun an exchange of ordnance, for which all associates must yet be thankful.

The High Commissariat, in concord with the Presidium offer the most sincere assistance of the most serene Commonwealth to Shcherbatskaya - in the event of such a purported scenario as listed within the article cited; the most serene Commonwealth offers a democratic fraternity to all comrades of liberty.

BATAVIË SITUATION STALLS

KREPOST ROSS — Over the past week the Crisis of Batavië stalled to amount to nothing. Or at least that's what it seems many governments seem to believe. As many naval fleets sit in the vicinity of this failed communist state, nations have urged themselves not to stir the pot. Despite this every nation is likely plotting behind closed doors with many suggesting that Franken, Kyiv and Shcherbatskaya are working to invade the nation and secure hegemony.

The stalled process has proven scary for many actors as it has allowed for all kinds of groups to play a role in the destabilized state. Worried, the Tsarina has decided to put her best foot forward and suggest something entirely unique to the process that might involve no armed conflict and secure a peaceful resolution without the corrupt halls of the Council of Nations making a bad situation, worse.

The Tsarina opened this morning stating this to the governments involved, "I believe that the Batavië Crisis must come to an end soon, else we will find ourselves in a deeply disturbing situation of bombs and battered bones. We must find a solution this week, else I believe unilateral decisions will come to the forefront by the end of the month."​

After the conclusion of her short announcement, the Foreign Ministry announced that the Navy had retreated from their positions near the Spa Republic. The Carrier Fleet was to move out of its previous hostile positioning and move to a more monitoring position closer to Maarten Island. The maneuver places the Navy away from possible conflict near Spa and is to signal a retreat from previous thoughts of aggressive support for the Republic.

The Foreign Ministry stresses that it still is open to engaging in a moments notice and the maneuver does not threaten it's ability to rapidly deploy in the region.

The Tsardom has also made it clear that it wishes to engage in talks with the People's Republic.

The decision to relocate the Shcherbatskayan warships is only a token gesture of peace and goodwill. If Shcherbatskaya was truly interested in the stability of Batavia, it would totally remove all naval vessels from the region and work alongside the Council of Nations rather than against it. The People's Republic of Vangala will continue to call for any military presence to be sanctioned either by the Batavian government or the Council of Nations and urges the international community to punish Shcherbatskaya for its continued belligerence.

By the first Security Council Resolution on the Batavian situation, unilateral action by any nation has been strictly forbidden and the Levant is willing to use it's assets in the region to enforce this resolution. Any legitimate peacekeeping operation can only be sanctioned by the Council of Nations. The stalling is not ideal, but unfortunately is a consequence of the rule of international law.

The Tsardom of Shcherbatskaya has made it quite clear. End of the month deadline, else matters will be taken into Shcherbatskayan hands and guidance. The Council of Nations has had nearly a month to make progress and their progress has only been this, to make sure Shcherbatskaya does not solve the problem. The no unilateral action resolution was only a shot to Shcherbatskayan pride as we have come closest to solving the question of Batavië in the past month. If the Council of Nations wishes to solve the problem the month of February is quite enough. Solve this problem now, else Shcherbatskaya will show the world how it is done.

The Security Council has passed a resolution forbidding unilateral action in Batavie. This resolution is binding on the members of the Council of Nations. If Shcherbatskaya acts on its plan to act unilateral in Batavie, they will be in direct violation of the Security Council Resolution. The Blue Union Captaincy of Životinje remains entirely indifferent to the situation in de Volksrepubliek as a standalone conflict. Interference from the Council of Nations however is seen as unnecessary and irresponsible, considering quite wisely that the globalist organization is incapable of working towards the improvement of mankind, when it is only committed to enslaving nations and the people in them with ridiculous sanctions.

Interference by Shcherbatskayan nationals will not be met with negativity or a cold shoulder by Union representatives, though we would not be kind neighbors if we did not warn what grave a mistake her excellency might be making by involving Shcherbatskaya in this faraway - already crowded conflict. This is neither the time nor place to showboat on the world stage, when so many power players are jockeying for power and glory. The Blue Union implores her southern neighbor not to act hastily, when the option for controlled action is still intact.
