Lumina's Lantern is the premier English Language Newspaper of Mahoeria, published from its ancient capital, Lumina. It's Mahoerian language edition, "Lumina ni Aedfrouri" is the third best selling newspaper of that category in the nation. With the rise in the internet, and television viewership; the Lumina's Lantern family was one of the first media groups to jump on a 'multi-media' platform, and publishes its newspapers electronically, as well as with individual articles on their site. Video articles, appear on their website and also on the channel "Twisted Branch Television" offered in many countries on satellite and cable services.

World Championships of the Karpaichi ("Game of [the] sharks") to be held in CheriAedon​

National Passtime, Karpaichi (Or "Soirc", "Game of Sharks") World Championships has recently been announced to be held in CheriAedon, the Capital city. The championships are scheduled to happen on August 17th, of this year (Yes, a mere five days from the current day) and the Major Association for Karpaichi [Organization], or MAKO, announced that this sudden call was after six long months of arguments and tense negotiations between club owners, the commission, and the athletics union.

As always, the championships will include three grades, the S, "Super" tier (The Major League Tier) which will have national favorites the Lumina Eleven-Shippers facing off against the Kounodonti Tridents. In the minor league tier, the CheriAedon Hounds are up against the Lumina Legion (The Grade-2 team for the Eleven-Shippers), and finally; in the junior team division*, the controversial match up of the East CheriAedon Cuirassiers versus the Cronigos Reavers; which is a must-watch not simply because of the players all being up and coming stars: But because it marks the first match up in at least five years between a Diadochi team and a Mahoerian team within the World Championships.


*Junior Team Division is those from the age of 16 through 23.

Havenite Armed Drones used on own people!​

Newham, Havenshire- The Havenite Ministry of Defense used UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, for those not in the know of the modern technologies of war); on their own people in a riot stopping measure recently, with the Havenite government issuing an apology on the matter after public outcry within Havenshire and elsewhere on the matter. When the Rionos of Lumina was asked by these reporters on his opinions on the manner; he said as quoted. "Would any parent tell another parent how to discipline their children? Any man tell another man how to handle his own angry tick? No, they wouldn't- not any Mahoeri at least; and the same is said here. The Havenites did what they thought they should do, and where beanbag guns and waterhoses could've dealt with the riots, it's their own decision how much force to respond with.
