With reports of "insurgent" activity in Combined Centrjzieman Coalition-Occupied Barazi rising in number and severity each day, the Southern Operational Command is reportedly reviewing its "concentration of force" in the southernmost Central European nation, which signed an official surrender on the 11th of this month. This accord was intended to bring the conflict between elements of the now defunct Milliyetci Regime and CCC Forces, but seems to hold little sway over vast segments of the young-adult portion of Baraturk society- young men and women who were raised entirely under the demented rule of "the so-called Guide," and have been irreversibly scarred by the brutally efficient indoctrination techniques employed by the aforementioned Regime.

A spokesman for the Southern Operational Command, the Imperial Sarmatian contingent within the CCC, confirmed that Coalition Commanders had called in inordinately high number of airstrikes over the weekend, with the trend apparently continuing into today. This spokesman also noted that the number of arrests made by Occupational Forces in Almak had reached a near fever-pitch over the weekend, and that "the number of small arms that we took in down there last night alone is just horrifying."

The central areas of responsibility for Imperial Forces, the coastal region along the landlocked Hyrcanian Sea, and the aforementioned city of Almak, and the territories surrounding it have proven to be hotbeds of "Milliyetci partisan" activity- a climate and situation which "requires a rapid, and massive surge in numbers and the application of martial force" according to Marszałek Konstanty Rola. "We had this thing well in hand in a few days- and with the right combination of presence of mind, and carefully applied force we can do it that quickly again."

It is likely that the arrival of the Southern Task Force of the Imperial War-Marine "sometime tomorrow" will prove to be a significant force-multiplier for the CCC, and may well prove to be the final nail in the coffin of Milliyetci resistance. The fact that at least one "Magnate" Class aircraft carrier is present in the Southern Task Force was reported by Batavian tourists who spotted the vessel as it was skirting through the narrow international waters in Far-Southeastern Europe.

The birth of the Hertha Concord, between the Republics of Tyskreich and Frescania, is being hailed by the Secretariat of State as "perhaps the healthiest- and surely the most realistic- diplomatic maneuvering that has been seen in the West since the days following the Great War." In the wake of the dissolution of AGE, the apparent collapse of the CoN, and the general weakness of the EDF, and its inability to properly project power in that portion of the world necessitate the creation of such a Concord.

Though the history of Sarmatian-Tysker relations is long and varied, the climate in the past months has been steadily warming, as has the economic exchange between the nations. "We believe that this Frescano-Tysker bloc is the absolute best option for the cause of civilization and liberty in the Far West. The Tyskers do have a questionable track-record when the various political extremes that gripped the country in the Twentieth Century are taken into account, but their conduct and general values- as a nation in the past eighteen years have been very encouraging." Secretary of State, Generał-Dywizji Samuel Łaszcz was quoted as saying earlier today.

It is no secret that the Imperial Regime of Greater Sarmatia has no love for the EDF, and the "near anarchic" values that they espouse- and opinion that has only continue to sour in recent months, with the EDF stooping so low as to even work with Communists on a number of fronts around Europe.

The latter transgression is considered unforgivable, and completely irresponsible by the Secretary of State- and will take years to correct according to Gen. Łaszcz, and has been cited as one of the foremost reasons for the Sarmatian withdrawal from the CoN, which it helped to found as the Kingdom of Międzymorze. That the Republics of Tyskreich, and to a lesser extent, Frescania (which saw both its position, and the position of the alliance it helped to found, AGE steadily eroded by subversive EDF tactics) are willing to call the EDF on these issues is of a great comfort to Stary Hrodino, and will likely play a key-factor in Sarmatian attempts to challenge EDF control of key-international markets and NGO's.

Representatives from both Hertha Concord nations will be attending the Imperial Coronation, and some have speculated that Gen. Łaszcz will use this as an excuse to approach them about a positive reevaluation of relations in the future.

The "bumper crops" that are expected (across the board) upon harvest this Autumn, and the stabilization of the Empire's extensive petroleum-infrastructure and international transportation system are increasing confidence in the national market as a whole, leading to four consecutive days of positive closing numbers for the SHCG- Stary Hrodino Centralny Giełdowych (Old Hrodino Central Stock-Exchange), and a general increase in consumer spending.

Though analysts do not expect that we will soon see an end to the recession that has gripped Greater Sarmatia for more than a year now, the generally positive outlook that most Sarmatians and Khazars seem to have since the ascension of the Imperial Regime is quite likely to have an enormous effect on how quickly this recession will be over, and the national economy salvaged. In polls conducted by Executive Outcomes- one of the most respected research institutes (i.e. "think tanks") in Centrjziema- which 80% of all Greater Sarmatians polled felt "offered greater security than any other Sarmatian government in recent memory," and "was the most likely government to see this nation 'made great' once more."

Stunning footage of a small family of one of the rarest big cats on the planet, the Hyrcanian Tiger, was taken by field-biologists from the Životinje based Wildlife Conservation Society. The family included the mother, estimated at around 650 lbs, and perhaps five years of age, and two cubs, perhaps six months old. Evidence of the tigress had been recovered throughout the region (which will remain unnamed in an attempt to preserve the isolation of this vital habitat) for months, including the savaged remains of a number of wisents, which are routinely tagged and tracked by Sarmatian conservationists in order to better understand the seasonal migrations of those animals.

By studying the locations in which the remains of the wisents, the WCS scientists were able to make an educated guess on the range of the tigress, and set up motion-sensitive cameras over an area which they said "was slightly larger than what you would expect for a single female, so there's the possibility that we've overlapped two adult animals' territories."

This would pay huge dividends, as not only were the WCS scientists able to retrieve this footage, but were able to tag all three tigers for future study and protection from poachers. It is estimated that there are as few as 150 adult Hyrcanian Tigers left in the wild in Greater Sarmatia, which was once home to one of the world's largest concentrations of this robust subspecies of the largest big-cats on the planet.

Commandry of Kyiv and Novgorod deftly handles near-nuclear crisis involving the poorly led, backwards, and socialistic nation of Freiheit. Calls for an anachronistic and largely ineffective "globalist NGO" have been wisely rejected by the Commandry which, as the progenitor nation of nuclear technology, should be more than qualified to dispose of this nuclear material, which is likely very primitive, considering the origin.

The "Batavian Commonwealth" debates raging throughout parts of Himyar and the Occident are producing ever-more visible signs of a possible armed standoff or conflict. In particular, the situation in Fulanistan appears to be especially bleak, where political turmoil- even threats of civil war- is increasing- leading many Sarmatian "analysts" to speculate that this latest example of Batavieren bungling and general ineptitude on the world stage will not only bring political grief to a number of nations around Europe- but might well lead to the deaths of innocent Fulanistanis.

A controversial smoking ban passed by the City Council of Wrocław that is being challenged by the Chamber of Commerce and a body of petitioners identifying themselves as the "vocal majority" will likely be the first case head by the reorganized Imperial High Judiciary, replacing the "corrupt, and obsolete Supreme National Judiciary."

The new Imperial High Judiciary will be comprised of barristers, judges and jurors personally selected by the Emperor-Elector after an extensive process of career-review and face to face interviews. The body of ten judicators will likely bring the most highest concentration of legal expertise and knowledge, and practical experience that has ever been seen in any comparable body in Sarmatian history- soothing any concerns that having such a potentially groundbreaking case as the first case for the new Imperial High Judiciary would prove to be too much for a totally reworked system.

We wish to inform our Sarmatian counterparts that the Government of Batavië is working in cooperation with the Fulanistani government regarding the tense political situation in the country. The Fulanistani people also voted overwhelmingly against a Commonwealth and instead would rather see a different kind of method for cooperation.

The most important thing to remember regarding this matter is that our bilateral attempts to foment a strong relationship had nothing to do directly with the recent political unrest in Fulanistan. The resignation of Prime Minister Van den Burg did indeed have to do with her people's discontent with the Commonwealth issues. The aftermath of political jockeying is natural in any democracy. The Government of Batavië is working collectively to assist our ally in remaining a stable democracy and warding off civil war.

We strive to always respect the rights of a sovereign state's people and that is why we are no longer pursuing a Commonwealth.

A massive tsunami has struck the Makai Island of Ra'tui, with an early estimate on the death toll running as high as 300, which Sarmatian analysts believe is a "greatly deflated number." No large-scale plans to organize relief efforts are planned, as the Emperor-Elect's Regime believes it is in the best interest of second and third tier nations- such as the Makai Islands to learn to cope with such basic domestic issues on their own, without "the globalist crutch."

No restrictions will be placed upon donations made under the auspices of Auxiliary (Dominican, Jewish and Reformed) Church and Synagogue groups that don't directly receive State funding.

The Wszyscy-Centrjziemi Proletariusz Federacja (All-Centrjzieman [Central European] Proletarian Federation), the last remaining semi-legal labor movement in Greater Sarmatia has been given notice that the provocative and in some cases, blasphemous and outright seditious activities of a number of its more prominent younger members, in particular those active within the international "blogosphere" might well cause the Imperial Secretariat of Domestic Affairs and Administration to reexamine the regime's official "suffrage" of the WCPF.

Many labor-conscious Sarmatians and Khazars are urging the WCPF's leadership to heed the warnings of the ISDA&A, and to take every possible precaution to ensure that this much needed source of representation for the working classes of our mighty Empire remains intact.

The growing fervor raised by the Arabski Sułtanat (the Sultanate of Hajr) over the treatment of the "Uroduah-muzułmański" minority of the Gruziński-dominated state of Akhaltsikhe. The Tetri Tsqaro regime of the latter nation recently unveiled relatively radical plans to complete the total segregation of its society, with the aforementioned "Uroduah-muzułmański" receiving treatment and resources that could only generously be called "equal."

Similar policies have proven to be quite successful in Greater Sarmatia, particularly in some (not all) areas of Khazaria that have been specially protected to serve as land entirely for the Khazars- in a situation that is mutually agreeable to Khazars and Sarmatians. The key difference here is that the Empire has more than enough experience, societal trust, and most importantly- funding- to maintain a system that could be described as "separate but equal."

Taking this, and other recent policy moves into account, the decision making ability of the Gruziński 'Executor,' and entire government seems to be seriously impaired. Akhaltsikhe's decision to enter into the Barazi Conflict in the first place was foolish- though some regard their later decision to pull out of the conflict after the Empire through its weight behind the Blue Union Captaincy as a sign of at least some good sense in Tetri Tsqaro. This most recent move to segregate the Uroduah-minority from the nation's majority truthfully seems to be little more than an attempt to bait one of the two most powerful countries on their continent into action by the surest means possible.

A "Brazulian cultural craze" is reportedly gripping the "privileged, and trend-setting" youth of the capital, according to a routine survey, and subsequent study conducted by sociologist in the employ of the Naradowy Prawda Media Corporation, and largely confirmed by independent researchers.

Dance-clubs and other nocturnal hot-spots frequented by the aforementioned "youth" feature an ever increasing number of characteristically sensual and sultry "Pop-music" chart-toppers. Those same clubs are forking over huge sums of money to attract Brazulian "dancers" and DJ's in the hopes of capturing some of this "Tropical Energy."

It is also rumored (amongst SHCG-insiders) that Sarmatian investors are looking into the possibility of facilitating the desired expansion of the Brazulian fast-food giant, Frango Tavares into foreign (i.e. Greater Sarmatian) markets.

The newly appointed Press Secretary for the Sarmatian contingent of the CCC in Barazi, Pułkownik Kazimierz Deyna was introduced to the allied press-corps attached to the Southern Operational Command today, and apparently has every intention of performing his duties to the fullest, as was evidenced by the massive amount of information that he made available, both by personal transmission- and by the circulation of a number of newly publicized mission statements and objectives for the CCC.

Puł. Deyna also informed the journalists that "access to what can only- honestly- call the front-lines" may be granted as early as Saturday, after which time a number of "exhaustively selected individuals, whom we (the CCC) believe to be capable of working in what will still be a rigorous environment" will be allowed to accompany Coalition forces on routine patrols and some low-risk punitive raids, as they became necessary.

It is expected that NPTV foreign correspondent Jan Artamanow will be at the top of the list of "exhaustively selected individuals," and will be bringing the Naradowy Prawda Media Family an unprecedented look at The Struggle for the Cause of True Civilization from the perspective of the men who are overseeing this righteous task.

His Imperial Highness, Jozef III Addresses the Nation, Outlines "Roadmap to Glory"

Stary Hrodino- Appearing before what government insiders are calling "a possible precursor to a reinstituted, and thoroughly Imperial Sejm" earlier this afternoon, His Imperial Highness, Jozef III Kościałkowsky delivered a truly rousing, and possibly quite provocative address outlining Imperial Policy in the near future, portions of which were made available to national and select international media agencies. Wielding his famously barbed "steel tongue" in place of his new Imperial Scepter, the Sarmatian Emperor lashed out at "the effeminate, greedy, heathen, and hedonistic enemies of Civilization, nearly all of whom have no sense of their true place in the greater order of things."

Perhaps of more imminent importance to the people of the Empire are the sweeping reforms that the Emperor will be implementing in the near future, through the various Imperial Secretariats (all of which are led by members of the Imperial Cabinet), and the newly formed "Imperial Diet." The latter, largely composed of long-time supporters of the Emperor from the academic and religious communities, with a substantial leavening of "uncorrupted" Senators from the Pre-Mniszech Era (the Most Serene Commonwealth of Both Nations), will be overseeing the creation of a new Imperial Sejm by means of a "popular vote," along with "streamlining" the often ponderous Sarmatian bureaucracy.

As was previously mentioned, His Imperial Highness also laid out a series of rebukes at "irresponsible governments, largely- but not entirely- in the West that would see the entirety of humanity complacent and emasculated." Citing the complete wreck that the once venerable and worthy Council of Nations has been reduced to, and the erratic nature of their collective economy, which "have none of the natural handicaps, or volatile diplomatic situations that have conspired to hold the older and more worthy nations of the world back," and thus have no excuse for their gross failures.

True to his very well-defined sense of personal integrity, His Imperial Highness also offered praise where that was due, largely focusing on the Empire's sister nation, the Blue Union Captaincy of Životinje. Taking very careful pains to make it clear that the future of the Sarmatian peoples were intricately tied to that of their southwestern siblings, the Emperor went on to say that "the future glories of this Divinely Mandated Empire will be brought about largely thanks to the past and current support of the Blue Union." The Emperor likewise complimented the martial virtues of the Rus', and their dedication to preserving the Rightful Order.

His Imperial Highness also spared a moment to comment on the escalating conflict in the Himyarite nation of Akhaltsikhe, which is quite unfortunately one of the world's leading exporters of petroleum, just barely falling short of the Empire, the Rus', and the Sultanate of Hajr. Relations between the Empire and the hopelessly destabilized nation (Akhaltsikhe) have never been noteworthy, and can at best be called mutually distrustful since the Gruziński-dominated nation attempted to intervene in Barazi on the side of the Milliyetci Regime, a move which many speculate provided the final impetus for Greater Sarmatia to involve itself in the war.

With the bumbling Talemantine "Empire" and the damnable communard state of Carentania reportedly forcing their way into the equation, it appears that total war is unavoidable- a fact which will likely create even more instability in the global economy. "Again, such irresponsibility is inexcusable, and is rapidly approaching a level that the Empire will no longer be able to tolerate."


Officials of the Commission for the Oversight of Energy (a permanent organ of the Imperial Secretariat of State) indicate that production and exportation of petroleum will be steadily increasing over the next few weeks, to compensate for any interruption in the flow of Himyarite oil.

Puppet-elections soon to be underway in the defunct Council of Nations. Despite a now long-standing refusal to participate in the organization, the leaders of the world still cry out for the wizened perspective of the Sarmatian people.

War in Touyou draws to a close, voices in Yiyuan are conspicuously absent from praises to Nokanawa.

A spokesman for (the) Sekretariat Stanu Cesarski (Imperial Secretariat of State), Pułkownik Mikołaj Antonesceu revealed earlier today that effective Sobota (Saturday) at 23:59:59, the Imperial Secretariat of State would cease to exist, to be replaced by a newly empowered Kanclerz Cersarski (Imperial Chancellery).

Reviving the old Royal Międzymorzan tradition, His Imperial Majesty, Jozef III intends to elevate current Secretary of State, Generał-Dywizji Samuel Łaszcz to the post of Imperial Chancellor, a post that has been described as "roughly analogous (in terms of responsibilities) to the comparable Royal Chancelleries in the West, in regards to domestic responsibility...the 'foreign affairs portfolio' will fall to a new post, in a new Ministry- that will remain subordinate to the Imperial Chancellery but will be specifically dedicated to diplomatic affairs...this is not to say that the Chancellery will be ignoring diplomacy altogether, not in the slightest- Gen. Łaszcz's office is merely stream-lining the day to day affairs of Imperial Diplomacy in order to better focus on more immediately relevant matters."

It was also reported that an official title would accompany the "promotion," a title roughly equivalent to Prince-Palatine in some Occidental Kingdoms. Already generously blessed by the Imperial House in terms of land and power, this is seen by many in Old Hrodino as a mere legitimization of a widely accepted fact.

One peculiarity of the old Royal system that will be resurrected with this new Imperial Chancellery is a secondary post, that of Podkanclerz, or Deputy Chancellor. The post of Deputy Chancellor was not subordinate to the Royal, or in the modern case, Imperial Chancellor in any way, and oversaw, and will oversee entirely separate portfolios. "The (Imperial) Deputy Chancellor will deal very closely with the individual provincial governments in an attempt to sieze upon the abundance of opportunities that the Empire is currently presented with...he will also oversee the creation of a number of new Imperial (Cabinet) Ministries, the first and arguably most important of which will be a new Imperial Court of Assessors, which will hopefully be able to finally sort out the litany of really quite divisive cases left over from the Commonwealth of Both Nations and Mniszech Regime."

There is no word yet who will be filling the post of Deputy Chancellor, but some "government insiders" have indicated that the recently crowned Khagan of Khazaria, Absalom VIII of the Royal Yaghbu Clan is the top-contender for this position, with his immense charisma and talent for organization and personal inspiration cited amongst the reasons for his consideration.

As many as one hundred and thirty thousand additional Imperial airmen, marines, sailors and soldiers could be deployed for the construction and security of the proposed complex of Imperial Bases in and around Almak, the capital of the Provisional Khanate of Cenubixazariya (South Khazaria) in as little as two weeks according to the office of Marszałek Konstanty Rola, Imperial Secretary of Defense.

With CCC Counter-Insurgency Operations continuing at "full-bore," and Milliyetci diehards are reportedly "afraid of operating in or near Almak," due largely to the stern- but just- methods utilized by the Royal Khazar Naval Infantry Corps (in conjunction with personnel from the Southern Task Force of the Imperial War-Marine) stationed there currently, who enjoy the full support of the Cenubixazar population of that teeming port-city. Already hailed as one of the "new cities" of "the old Barazi" (though technically, the Provisional Khanate of Cenubixazariya is a separate national entity from Barazi now).

A true bombshell was let slip by Marszałek Rola himself at the end of this press conference, when he revealed that Admirał Menachem Safar Akhund would be crowned Khan of Cenubixazariya by Khagan Absalom VIII and Rabbi Yusef ben Yitzak, the "senior" Jewish cleric in the Imperial Protectorate. It seems logical that the soon-to-be Jewish monarch will be subordinated to the Khagan of Khazaria in much the way that the latter offers fealty to the Emperor; and will, like the Khagan, enjoy a level of autonomy within Cenubixazariya, to better serve the unique needs of his people there.

Tension in the Himyarite nation of Akhaltsikhe are apparently coming to a head, with the forces of Carentanian Communism preparing to blow across the borders of the Gruziński-dominated nation to reclaim their long-lost territory of Vrbas Kraj. With the largely inept, and the newly self-confident Sultanate of Hajr also staking a claim in the outcome of this "situation cum conflict," it is likely that the final outcome of this matter will be the single most important factor in the development of history of the entire continent (of Himyar) for the next fifty years.

The Imperial Secretariat of Defense, and the Imperial Government in general are highly anticipating the formal outbreak of hostilities between the two nations- and the reaction of the other two national factors in the equation. This unique situation will provide Stary Hrodino with vital insight into how other governments and peoples outside of Centrjziema react to the reality, and astounding cumulative stresses of modern warfare. It would likewise provide a much needed glimpse at the capabilities of the modern Red Carentanian military, which though assuredly poorly equipped and trained, will almost certainly be highly motivated- perhaps as highly as any other armed force in the world.

This factor, above all others, has proven to be the deciding element in a number of what seemed at the time, hopelessly complex conflicts. If this semi-legendary "Red Fervor" proves to be as present in the current generation of Carentanians as it has in the past, every instance of Sarmatian concern over the continued existence of this rogue state will be instantly validated, sadly- likely to the detriment of the Sultanate of Hajr, a bastion of civilization and order in a living-sea of barbarity.

Record heat-waves, that have blanketed portions of the Northern Hemisphere for the entire summer (most recently, Batavië), continue throughout central and southwestern Sarmatia, abated only by the equally unusual, but far more impressive rains that continue to revitalize the endless fields of "the breadbasket of Europe."

Key agricultural Magnates and their representatives within the Imperial Government remain highly confident that this year's yields will be the most impressive seen in more than a decade, a boon to the Empire that could not come at a better time. With so much of the Imperial economy tied into agriculture- and with hemp-based biodiesel production exploding (alongside 'traditional' petroleum production, and 'oil-sand' exploration) the possibility that yet another rung in the ladder out of national debt will be placed before our collective feet is high.

The knowledge that the nation will almost certainly be adequately fed has driven food prices down to levels that have not been seen in some years, since the heady days of 2002. The increases in the number of people employed in the agricultural industry certainly recall a more stable time- though certainly much further back than 2002. Harkening back to the days when more people lived and worked in rural areas than urban, this shift is soon as proof by the multitudes of Sarmatians (and Khazars) that have always held the humble, pious, simple country life "of the past" in high regard that such beliefs are in fact correct.

In yet another sign that relations between the Empire and the Commandry of Kyiv and Novgorod are continuing to thaw, the Imperial War Graves Department announced that an exchange of the hallowed bodies of the fallen soldiers of the Great War would be conducted in the near future.

The bodies of "several" thousand Sarmatian and Khazar soldiers were interred in Kyiv near the end of the war, when the fronts were changing so radically and rapidly that it was nearly impossible for burial details to complete their duties before being forced to retreat, or called to advance. In the case of the Międzymorzan soldiers, their final resting place was the Khola Peninsula, directly adjacent to Groszow, and formerly Sarmatian territory. For much of the Great War, the Khola was host to what most historians agree was some of the most hellish combat of the entire war, in one of its most hellish environments.

The fallen Rus' were involved in the last, mad push against Balanjar in the days before (the newly ascendant) Communist Dictator, Cyril Peretyatkovich ordered the atomic-bombing of Itil (which was at the time, the capital of Khazaria). This offensive cost the lives of nearly every Rus' soldier that went into it, with most of that fallen interred in a massive, properly Orthodox mass-grave. These bodies have been carefully sorted and extensively studied (with verified identities commonplace) and are currently being prepared for the transfer.

Experts note that while these gestures might seem miniscule, one must remember that this event, and nearly every other interaction between our two nations are intimately tied to the resolution of the Great War, largely in atomic fire and nerve-gas. "This is nothing but a positive sign," one political scientist noted.

The willingness of the Transitional Government of Ratomkira, a historical Oikawan client, to maintain their negotiations with the Communist KKP are proving to be of no small annoyance to the Imperial Regime. When moves to enter into a dialogue with Outlaw Communard Ringleaders, it was generally assumed that the Transitional Government would use this time to consolidate their forces and strongholds, and then to prosecute an even more vigorous campaign against the godless dogs.

This has proven not to be the case. Such a fact has proven to be enormously disappointing to Stary Hrodino. A highly placed official within the Imperial Secretariat of War noted this as most disappointing, and that it would have been highly likely that the Empire, or even it predecessor states would have been more than willing to commit financial and military assistance to the legitimate Ratomkiran government in order to forestall a complete takeover of the nation by Communists. "As is, it seems that they lack the will to fight for justice- and we have no desire to back anyone without the heart to do what is necessary."

Khagan Absalom VIII of the Royal Yaghbu Clan of Khazaria officially confirmed as Podkanclerz, or Deputy Chancellor, promising to "represent the individual interests of the Empire's many provinces to the very best of my ability."

Provincial Magnates and their rural "chłopi," as well as both Imperial Episcopalian Reformed and Royal Karaite Jewish clergy are hailing the appointment, and applaud the wisdom of His Imperial Majesty in appointing a man with such obvious wisdom and paternal-love of all the people of this Empire, regardless of race or religious creed.

The first session of the newly formed Imperial Diet to begin this morning, presided over directly by His Imperial Majesty, Jozef III. The first items of business to be discussed are a semi-official timetable, and a preliminary list of political representation that will be tolerated under the Imperial Aegis, or more accurately- which political parties will be able to participate in any future elections without disturbing the tenuous, but very real Imperial Peace that pervades the nation currently.

The only date made available, and then clearly stated as being tentative was an early Autumn Provisional Election, which would establish a temporary Imperial Sejm to oversee the regularization of the new legislative process- along with the more obvious goal of ensuring that the people of Greater Sarmatia have a voice in their government.

Ethnic Turekich Muzułmanów, mainly in the southeastern Khazarian districts of Hradam, Kürdämir, and Rzewów are declaring their solidarity with the rising masses of Uroduah Muzułmanów in the Jurzan region of the rapidly disintegrating Himyarite nation of Akhaltsikhe. "In the years after the collapse of the Hyrcanian Sultanates in the latter half of the Eighteenth Century, this [the Turekich Muzułman] minority has been largely silent, and almost entirely apolitical, outside of their vehement opposition to Atheistic Communism. This is a truly unique event, and one that will likely send shockwaves through the Muzułmanów communities not only in the Empire, but throughout the region."

The Imperial Chancellery has not taken an official stance on the Uroduah Separatist movement in the Jurzan.

Nowakówski Rolnych Maszyneria (Nowakówski Agricultural Machinery)- the Empire's largest, oldest, and easily most successful producer of agricultural technologies, not merely implements and machinery, and second largest producer of all-purpose automobiles- has announced plans to "aggressively pursue avenues into Himyarite and Occidental markets, with local partners if necessary." A spokesman for the Sarmatian economic titan noted that while "domestic and regional markets are more than capable of sustaining us, we are more than aware that we have to look outside of Centrjziema if we're going to truly live up to our potential."

Nowakówski combines, cultivators, tractors and fertilizers have been the mainstay for more than 90% of all Sarmatian farmers for more than a century, and company officials feel that their domestic records speak for themselves, with similar confidence that this will aid their smooth transition into the highly competitive global marketplace.

Barbara Giersz: "For those of you just joining us- and let me say that all of our prayers are with the families of those miners, God have mercy on all of them...but for those of you just now joining us, I've been blessed with the opportunity to have a chat with our "new" Imperial Chancellor, His Highness, Książę-Palatyn (Prince-Palatine) Samuel Łaszcz. Arguably one of the most influential- if not the most, behind the Emperor, naturally- men in the Empire, His Highness has earned the confidence of his peers, the common people, and most importantly, the Emperor."

Samuel Łaszcz: "Well...I won't say that I don't love hearing that, but it's still a little disconcerting. Even two years ago, I was content with my commission- you know, I had always wanted to work as a Staff Officer. All of my natural gifts lent themselves nicely to that field, and I excelled in it, and I was happy there. But as things moved along- sometimes at an altogether impossible pace- I found that my gifts were far more expansive that what I had ever been comfortable admitting. His Majesty told me once that '...it was a terrible, terrible injustice that I remain locked away in some office, when I had such an obvious genius for the very highest sort of administration...' He was always grandiose like that. The very oldest sort of Sarmatian gentleman, speaking the very finest form of our beloved Mother Tongue. There's an almost prophetic quality there, a raging Old Testament voice calling the world to repentance...but sadly, largely unheeded. Until quite recently, that is."

Barbara Giersz: "Quite so. Whatever the case, it seems that you've come into this high office at an ideal time, with the world in a period of relative calm and recovery- despite the dying embers of rebellion in Tōyō, or 'the Otchi Crisis' in the so-called 'Freiheit.' Neither of which seem to have any bearing on the governance of this Empire, am I correct?"

Samuel Łaszcz: "I would certainly say so. We, unlike so many other nations- the nations of the "Far West," the misbegotten children of Franken, and to a lesser extent Montellimar and Anglyn- we don't have anything to prove to the world. Our will is absolute within our sovereign borders, and we are more than capable of ensuring that our allies can say the same- for some time to come. All of this posturing over this defunct, bastardized 'Germanic,' and God do I hate that word, posturing. And then these Otchi 'mountain apes.' They seem to really think that the EDF cares- at all- about their wellbeing. The one, overriding concern of the EDF are those nukes, which might or might not be there- who knows?"

Barbara Giersz: "Mmmmm...but we'd really have nothing to worry about- even from a rogue nuke, or perhaps one directed at us even, would we Your Highness?"

Samuel Łaszcz: "It'd have to be a bomb from God Himself to breach our national defenses- and really, our regional defenses. The Centrjzieman Missile Shield is probably the most robust of its kind in the world, and I have all confidence that it could successfully divert a truly substantial strike, with limited warning even."

Barbara Giersz: "That's outstanding, if unsurprising news Your Highness. I think I can speak for the rest of the Empire when I say that we- all of us- have the utmost confidence in the ability of this government to safeguard our sovereignty. The Empire, even in its nascent state, has proven capable of determining policy and setting the diplomatic tempo throughout the region- virtually at will. I understand that you've planned a trip to Cenubixazariya in the near future- to oversee the expansion of the Pax Sauromatica there as well?"

Samuel Łaszcz: "Well, that was the case, but- and I hate to use such a cliché- but "more pressing matters of state" demand my immediate attention; so I'll be postponing that trip for at least three weeks, and possible as much as two months."

Barbara Giersz: "Now that sounds entirely too juicy to pass on Your Highness...can you let anything slip?"

Samuel Łaszcz: "Barbara, I would love to, I really would- but I'd prefer to let this Empire's actions speak for our resolve."

Barbara Giersz: "I bet the tabloids love you, Your Highness. That is as impossibly cryptic, mysterious, and might I add- sexy as any statement this government has ever made. Well played sir, well played."

First and foremost, it is my duty and honor to offer you- the honorable and worthy subjects of this Empire the best wishes of your beloved Emperor, and his entire household. The prosperity and well-being of his subjects weighs ever more heavily upon his mind, and it is for just such reasons that our Empire has embarked upon the Great Crusade for the Cause of True Civilization, which many of you have no doubt been informed of through in any number of manners.

Some time ago, it came to the attention of the Imperial Secretariat of War that the rogue Niemcy state of "Freiheit" had not followed through with its promises to surrender its nuclear arsenal to our Rus' cousins, and was in fact moving these weapons to secure locations around the nation- for future offensive actions against unsuspecting nations throughout the world. Though this was the most intolerable in any number of horribly ill-advised missteps on the part of the illegal Freiheiter regime. The oppression of the Otchi, whom we have taken special care not to target- with specific data currently being made available to pertinent military forces around the world.

Any reports of attacks against this hopelessly oppressed minority have been exagerrated by the Freiheiter government, and we have it on high authority that whatever promises the Faust creature who claims to be in control of this rogue state, or his clique of criminals and hypocrites are willing to blurt in the moment are purely hollow- and such considerations will never be made.

Though we are quite sure that we have forever removed the Freiheiter ability to make use of their nuclear arsenal in an offensive capacity, we have no choice but to pursue this campaign through to a final, and resounding conclusion. The combined might of the Imperial Armed Forces, and the support that we shall receive from our friends and allies in the Blue Union, and the Holy Tiburan Empire are more than enough to crush whatever opposition we will face in this Righteous Conflict.

It should also be noted that there are rumblings amongst the weaker and less proactive nations of the world- those nations that feel they have the moral authority to pass rebukes against this Divinely Mandated Empire- that some attempt shall be made to subvert our efforts in the rogue-state of Freiheit. Such will not be the case. Any attempt to impede Imperial, or Allied operations within Freiheit- including its territorial waters and airspace- will be construed as an attack on the Armed Forces of the Empire of Greater Sarmatia- and as such, an attack upon the person of His Imperial Majesty. This, as the world is now very aware, is a course of action highly inadvisable for any.

The advice of this office to all the nations of the world that are not currently involved in military operations against the rogue-state of Freiheit, in conjunction with the Armed Forces of the Empire of Greater Sarmatia is very simple. Interfere, and suffer the ire of this Empire, not only at your own peril- but at that of your children as well.

Once more, the inestimable honor of informing this Great and Mighty Empire- and the world at large- of the progress of the valiant forces of Civilization and Justice engaged with the hordes of godless tyranny in the so-called Niemcy "Free-State." With righteous fury the brave airmen, sailors and soldiers of the Empire of Greater Sarmatia smite the enemies of mankind- and shall not rest until this glorious crusade has achieved its singular goal- the eradication of the genocidal regime so deeply entrenched in the ruins of Freistadt, Gilrae and St. George.

We, as a people, have taken the burden- the great debt of sin- of conducting so relentless a campaign, but one- as the entire world has now recognized was and still is entirely necessary. Our history, and our unique heritage have hardened our hearts, have given us the will to stand fast and see such causes as this entirely worthy one through to the end. Recent developments in our own region, namely the intolerable excesses of the former Milliyetci Regime of Barazi- and the subsequent demolition of that regime by CCC forces, have lent a unique level of experience and martial qualification to our forces- above all others in the world.

Were political realities in the Greater Tōyō region different, His Imperial Majesty, Jozef III would have been satisfied to let this task fall to our ancient allies in Nokanwa- but as they are already occupied with the pacification of the barbarous pirates of the now defunct "Yiyuan Clique" the task falls to us, as a universally respected arbiter of international order. As other, comparable powers have proven themselves to be untrustworthy in this matter, once more, the Empire feels that it had, and has no other recourse but to prosecute this as thusly.

Beyond the previous warnings that we have issued to parties that are unwisely and unnecessarily involving themselves in this conflict continue to ring true- our resolve on this matter has not and will not weaken. For the sake of well-being of the world as a whole, I implore you personally to rethink this rash course of actions, and to place some level of trust in our abilities, and more importantly our humanity.

Our concern for the continued survival of the Otchi people- and the creation and defense of a state of their own are amongst our primary concerns, secondary only to the rehabilitation of the Niemcy of the so-called "Free-State." That said, it is the official opinion of the Empire that further outside intervention, namely by elements from the European Defense Federation- whom we are certain are concerned solely for the expansion of their cultural and economic pseudo-empires. This will not stand.

The initial phase of operations, namely the neutralization of "the Free-State's" nuclear arsenal, and the liquidation of its fleet and air assets are nearing completion, with the infinitely more important secondary and tertiary phases, including ground operations and the liberation of the hearts and minds of the Niemcy and Otchi peoples. Current and precise updates upon the situation on the ground- and on the waves and in the air- will be made available at regular hourly intervals, beginning at 2359 this evening, Sarmatian Central Standard Time.

Likewise, observers currently assigned to the Imperial Implarian Carrier-Group will have the opportunity to observe actions taken on the ground, for the purpose of illustrating to all the world's significant governments that we have nothing but the best interest of the aforementioned peoples in our hearts.

His Imperial Majesty Declares "Victory in the Conventional War against the former Freiheit"


Stary Hrodino- Having remained largely silent throughout the course of the Empire of Greater Sarmatia's "conventional" military operations in the former Freiheit, His Imperial Majesty broke his silence in a surprise press conference earlier this morning. Even with invitations delivered only hours before the actual event in order to better preserve the security of His Imperial Majesty, every journalist to receive an invite was present- speaking volumes of the unquenchable thirst that not only the Sarmatian and Khazar nations- but all Civilized Peoples- have for the intoxicating words of inspiration and wisdom routinely offered by HIM Jozef III.

Mystifying the journalists and the various national and regional leaders also present with his opening statements, the beloved Emperor acclaimed "the honor, martial prowess and spiritual resolve" of the sons and daughters of the Empire, and her Allies, that "so joyfully and willingly took up the cause of True Civilization, so sorely neglected in these, the last gasping breaths of a dying age." Having achieved a victory so utterly surprising both in terms of scale and speed, the Emperor expressed his most heart-felt desire that the arrogant and irresponsible leaders of so many nations around the world have taken careful note of "recent events," and will calculate those events in their future policy decisions.

His Imperial Majesty likewise insinuated that many of those same "arrogant and irresponsible puppeteers" were, and ever shall remain as responsible for the crimes against humanity committed in the former Freiheit as that same nation's so-called former government, and that "it will take decades of the most honest sorts of work to right the tremendous wrongs done to the Otchi people, the safety of whom We have committed to their nearest natural neighbors, who despite their mistaken creed have proven themselves to be made of 'stern enough stuff' for this task."

These previous remarks allude to a purported agreement between the Empire of Greater Sarmatia and the Grand-Duchy of Aquitania concerning the oversight and short-term defense of the proposed "Otchi State," which might include all of the former Freiheit south of the Sarmatian occupied city of St. George.

Though confirmation on whether or not a deal was actually made has not been forthcoming from the Imperial Chancellery, a very firm confirmation of "the rights of the Grand-Duchy of Aquitania to oversee the creation of an independent Otchi state, with a further- temporary- obligation to ensure the defense of this proposed state." It has also be made very clear that official recognition of "any worthy Otchi State" would be immediately forthcoming from the Empire upon the successful organization of such (an Otchi homeland).

His Imperial Majesty also made an attempt at clarifying the Empire's "short and long term goals within the former Freiheit, along with the doctrines and overarching strategies that will be implemented to ensure the speedy and successful realization of these goals." The "Roadmap to Civilization" plan presented to the Council of Nations on behalf of the Empire by her "sibling-nation and close ally," the Blue Union Captaincy of Životinje will not only be rigorously followed, but will include regular and "exhaustively thorough" assessments, parts of which will be made available to "interested parties within the CoN" as they are completed. Only portions directly pertaining to matters of "Imperial Security" will be withheld, as any and all other states would.

Perhaps the greatest surprise, and certainly the most pertinent item in terms of "broader geopolitics" was the Emperor's definitive confirmation that the Empire of Greater Sarmatia, "along with a number of other like-minded and already closely aligned nations," had resumed its commitment to the League of Free States, of which the Empire, in the form of its predecessor-state Międzymorze, was a founder. Though perhaps not a true surprise, as any careful student of international relations, or global economics should have long ago noted "heightened" levels of cooperation between the Oikawan and Sarmatian Empires- which were in truth mere reaffirmations of a friendship that has endured since 1868.

When queried on the reasoning behind this apparent reversal of policy, which in this case was instituted under the Mniszech Regime, His Imperial Majesty, stated rather clearly "that while I did, and always will respect the dedication of Patrycjusz Mniszech, and will do everything within my power to ensure that his example is long remembered and celebrated...I am morally convinced that the decision to remove this nation from the LFS was at the very least rash, and quite possibly based upon falsified intelligence reports delivered by highly placed individuals within the Mniszech Regime, all of whom have now been removed."

It is speculated that many of the members of the Mniszech Regime associated with the treachery of the now infamous Mikolaj Nowina were not only acting in collusion with elements of "certain Occidental powers that desire the prostration of the Sarmatian and Khazars peoples, but also with far more dangerous parties, with whom this nation has shared nearly a millennium of enmity...a 'party' that is in truth as responsible for the horrors birthed upon the former Freiheit as Hoffman, Faust, or Denever themselves."

Leaders of the Wszyscy-Centrjziemi Proletariusz Federacja (All- Centrjzieman Proletarian Federation) are reported to have concluded a set of "secretive, and supposedly quite productive negotiations" with leading officials of the Imperial Diet (the Empire's Provisional Legislative Body), and key-aids of the Imperial Chancellor.

As the only remaining trade federation tolerated by the Imperial Regime, it has fallen to the WCPF to ensure that the collective interests of the Sarmatian proletariat are attended to- a situation which was jeopardized nearly two months ago when a number or "highly placed" WCPF members lashed out at the nascent Imperial Regime in a number of (illegal) Associated Press articles, and "blogs," which were circulated widely on both the Freenet and Internet.

Though no official statements have been released from any of the parties involved in these talks, widespread rumors of the possible expansion and fortification of the WCPF's prerogatives within the structure of the Imperial Government. Evidencing these rumors are the appointments of a number of the remaining leadership of the WCPF to positions within Imperial Secretariat of Domestic Affairs and Administration, which will apparently not exclude them from continued service within the structure of the WCPF.

One fact that has been corroborated by (unspecified) leaders of the WCPF and the Imperial Chancellery is the arrest, and continued detention of the majority of the seditious "authors," a disconcerting number of whom were very highly placed (the highest of whom, Jerzy Hodna, had been serving as the 'Interim Director of the Agricultural Labor Combine').

The first class of Green Shirts, the now celebrated Youth Leadership movement- founded, funded and operated solely under the auspices of the Imperial Sarmatian Reformed Episcopate- have graduated and are preparing to take up their posts on the campuses of secondary-schools and universities throughout the nation.

His Most Reverend Eminence, Kajetan III Sołtyk, the Reformed Arch-Deacon of Hrodino, has expressed a great deal of "pride and satisfaction in the level of commitment of each and every graduate of this first class of what will one day grow to become the Great Redeemer of our oft wayward youth."

HMRE Kajetan III has also expressed interest in working with religious leaders in the Jewish community, primarily amongst the Khazar population of the Empire, to create a similar organization for Jewish youth, which would preserve their Ancient and Righteous Faith, the Faith of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while still espousing the values which have and will continue to make our Empire amongst the greatest nations in the world."

A spokesman for the Southern Operational Command (the Imperial Sarmatian contingent of the CCC, currently overseeing the establishment of the Khanate of Cenubixazariya) report that "slightly more than a dozen" pro-Milliyetci insurgents have been arrested in Almak, after reportedly "plotting an assassination attempt on the popular Sarmatian anchorwoman, Ms. Serakh Sabriel," who was in the capital of the new-born Khanate for an interview with local Cenubixazar leaders.

Though SOC maintains that insurgent activity has been on the decline for the past several weeks, "as a result of most of their energies being devoted to areas of Independent Barazi under Živ protection, where ethnic Baratürkler are the majority."

Recent statements issued by the Tysker news agency, Das Wirtschaftblatt-und Rundschau coupled with 'hypocritical and utterly ill-advised remarks' made by the 'Federal Ministry for European International Affairs' of the Tysker-dominated Republic have sparked the ire of many within the Imperial Government, to say nothing of the already vehemently anti-Niemcy Sarmatian public.

In a brief statement issued by the Imperial Chancellery, it was revealed that the two nations of the so-called "Hertha Accord," Frescania and Tyskreich were not only appraised of the situation within the former Freiheit, but were 'also intimately involved in the initial phase of operations themselves, with observers from both nations still present within the East Implarian Task-Force...Now that the fullness of the impossibly complicated situation in the former Freiheit has become plain to the world, the cowards that supposedly govern the suspected crypto-communist nation (Tyskreich) are attempting to wash their hands of the situation- which we simply will not allow."

The Imperial Chancellery also noted that criticisms of Imperial and allied-LFS actions against the criminal regime in the former Freiheit did not begin until Tysker interests in 'the Jurzan', both economic and political, were challenged by the Oikawan Empire's commitment to 'global stability,' which simply does not allow for the irresponsible and opportunistic 'predations' of the offending government in question.

This betrayal of trust by the Republic of Tyskreich has obviously not been well received in Stary Hrodino, and it is likely that a total reassessment of the viability of continued diplomatic and economic ties between the Empire and the Republic are in order. It is likely that the first steps in this "reassessment" will include 'drastic reductions in petroleum and grain exports' headed to the Occidental nation, which has now proven itself to be 'every bit as untrustworthy as their Frankisch, Freiheiter, and Wieser brethren.'

Instability in the Kingdom of Ratomkira continues, with the Imperial Secretariat of Defense reportedly "in talks" with their Oikawan counterparts on how best to proceed in this highly volatile situation.

The Kingdom of Danmark, the southern most of the 'Nordycki' nations has been welcomed into the League of Free States with open arms, drawing praise from Stary Hrodino for a move that has been described as 'one of the best-timed diplomatic initiatives in recent memory.'

Rumors of meetings between Imperial Sarmatian officials and representatives of the government of the Republica del Sur have also been reported, indicating that this southern European nation will also be joining the ranks of the LFS, the only international body left in Europe which 'yet carries the banner of True Civilization.'

A three-hour special report on the situation in 'the proposed East Implarian Protectorate, which will include the majority of the former Freiheit' will be televised on Naradowy Prawda Channel 3 at 2000 Piątek (Friday) evening. It is expected that total viewership for this special will exceed 'all levels in recent memory.'

Imperial Regime Implements Bold and Far-Reaching New "Roadmap to Civilization"


Stary Hrodino- Though rumors that the Imperial Regime would be striking out "in a new, more 'Christian' direction" in the wake of the short-lived, but spectacular conflict in the former Freiheit, to better represent the core values of the Emperor himself, confirmation was hard to come by until late last night- when perhaps the most ambitious 'PR campaign' in Sarmatian history was launched. Millions of posters and pamphlets- and dozens of commercials, released in the Khazar, Niemcy, and Sarmatian tongues washed over the walls of every major intersection in the Empire, and the newly rechristened "Memorial Territories" (the former Freiheit)- and on each and every radio and television station authorized to broadcast within the boundaries of our glorious Empire.

Descending upon every major metropolitan area within the boundaries of the Empire- which again, are to be understood to include the "Memorial Territories," a veritabal army of youth volunteers- largely directed by the recently graduated first class of Green Shirts- plastered every available surface with posters emblazoned with inspirational slogans coined by the Imperial Chancellery- and approved by our beloved Emperor himself. This continued throughout the evening, and even beyond the rising of the sun- after which time, many of these volunteers (who will reportedly receive some form of compensation from the Imperial Purse) remained 'on duty' to pass out pamphlets outlining the Empire's new "Roadmap to Civilization."

Evoking the same basic language that has been in use since the inception of the Imperial Regime- which is now reckoned to include the brief period between the fall of the morally confused Mniszech Regime and the Imperial Coronation- these pamphlets and posters merely articulate and expand upon the unshakable foundation that has already been put down. The most common theme, that of the Sarmato-Niemcy-Khazar-Živo March towards "True" Civilization, is repeated numerous times in each version of the pamphlets and posters, and is already the subject of a half dozen radio and television commercials.

No longer content to allow the entirety of the world to slip damnation and decay, His Imperial Majesty has 'lain down the gauntlet,' refusing to allow any more of God's children to fall into the web of sensualistic hedonism that the Adversary has so carefully crafted through his minions amongst the economic and political elite of the Occident.

In light of the recent, and numerous victories that the Empire (in conjunction with its LFS Allies) and its Blue Živo siblings have won around the globe, it seems impossible to deny that the Sarmatic peoples have received a Divine Mandate from on High. Crushing what were believed to be two of the world's most dangerous military powers, Milliyetci Barazi and the former Freiheit- in under a month in both cases- with relatively few losses. The Emperor himself was noted as asking- of both his subjects and the world at large: "What more proof does the world require that we, the Sarmatic and Khazar peoples are truly God's Elect, His chosen Defenders of Both the Word and Global Justice?"

In light of greatly increased instances of unrest within the Empire's "Memorial Territories," encompassing the majority of the former Freiheit, the government of the Empire of Greater Sarmatia finds it prudent to issue a very clearly worded warning to any and all foreign nationals from states currently classified as 'neutral,' or 'potentially antagonistic,' that this rapidly deteriorating situation will likely call for much harsher- and more far-reaching- policies in restoring order to this morally corrupt and seemingly eternally chaotic corner of the already blighted Occident.

Partisans loyal to the outlawed regime that for so long oppressed not only the Niemcy of the Memorial Territories, but more importantly the long-beleagured Otchi aboriginals, have continued to resist the Divinely Instituted Rule of Law in their former nation. Striking at distribution centers for foodstuffs and medical supplies in an attempt to lessen the Empire's ability to see to the day to day needs of the Empire's newest subjects, these 'partisans' have made their committment to dragging their homeland into utter anarchy painfully clear.

As such, beginning at 2000, local East Implarian Standard Time, the Imperial Sarmatian and attached Allied forces currently overseeing the reconstruction of the Memorial Territories will begin the first 'true offensive' undertaken since the official conclusion of the primary phase of the pacification of the Godless hordes of the former Freiheit. We urge any and all missionaries, International Blue Cross personnel, registered journalists and previously unsecured foreign nationals that fall into the aforementioned categories to make their way to the nearest Imperial Military Check-Points for their own safety. The safe conduct and wellbeing of any such individuals seeking the protection of the Empire is guaranteed -personally- by our Most Beloved Emperor.

Any persons that do not heed this advice are henceforth understood to have accepted and disregarded these warnings, and shall be held solely responsible for any personal injuries, damage to or complete loss of personal property, and God forbid- death.
