No, this isn't a region-wide map thread. If you came here looking for one, press ALT+F4 to find the real map thread!

In all seriousness, with national maps already floating around, decided to resurrect the Atlas thread from Classic's PJ's. I'm hoping that this will also encourage people to commonly agree on natural systems such as mountains, rivers, etc. rather than the bs we had in classic when all mountain chains, rivers and valleys suddenly ended at the border with no logic whatsoever.

Here's my first version, in an obviously Factbook-ish style:

How did you copy the outlines of the relatively small mapspot on the main map to this larger version? You didn't draw the borders totally by hand, didn't you?

Map of the six states of the Empire of Wiese (German: Kaisertum Wieserreich, Latin: Imperium Praturianum).

I'll add the borders of my neighbours if I get really bored.

My maps are still a bit underproduced. But if someone wants to re-produce them, to make them prettier, I'd thank that generous person.

The first map is the official provinces and cities map, while the second shows the limits of the jurisdiction of the four "sub-states" co-existing in Lusitania, all at peace but warring a cold civil war. They have all a common foreign policy of neutrality, hence the Lusitanian Union.

I fiddled with the layers in GIMP, and drew it partly by hand on top of the existing borders which became pixelated as I enlarged ze spot. It was quite easy.

Map of Belmont, with major cities and major roads

NOTE: The territories marked as "Occupied" are, in Belmont, recognized as Montelimarian territory under the occupation of Skansige, in the north, and Hosagovina, in the south. And so, all official maps of the government show those two bits as Occupied territory.

The Belmont - Montelimar border has been made according to the land I gave to Monty. This border is not the same as the one on the official map.

Cities might be changed in future editions of the map.

Just to make sure, have you actually worked out with Monty that Montelimar is claiming those territories? :p

Otherwise it might seem a tad bit ridiculous for nation C to say that nation A's territories belong to nation B which itself makes no claim.

Looks like Belmont and I both have a Montpellier according to our maps, this could become a headache. I might switch mine

I'm embarrassed that I didn't inlude coro's other territory on my western border, before he made the new map I thought all three blue spots on my territory were lakes, I didn't realize one wasn't  I'll redo this map asap

Ferèzanno is Ferèzanno and Coronado is Coronado. The pink colored area's are Federally administered area's, whilst the greyish color are other autonomous prefectures aside from Ferèzanno and Coronado. The dark reddish brown color are area's administered directly by the Armed Forces. Either as bases or as simple closed city zones.

I don't zoom in, I draw a new map entirely using a touchscreen monitor.

I simply take a portion of the map that I need, re-size it to maybe triple or quadruple, then make that layer 50% opane, and draw over it in a new layer.
