Moerenburg 1955 opening!
NP Wiefelburg

The economic slowdown that hit the auto industry in Wiefel since last year has not reduced the enthusiasm of motorists as the Moerenburg 1955 opened on its first day. Wiefel's largest automotive show is once again set to be a memorable event as most wiefellander brands will be presenting new models, some probably designed with the idea to chase depression away.

All are lining up the stands, such as the Atlas 1949 or the Koeld 19PH from the Hoelder Company whose interior has been designed in collaboration with Mern-Kuber. Mainstream vehicles also feature well, with the recent redesign of Einsenbauch.

The opening will happen in the city of Moerenburg, near Wiefelburg.

Wiefellander Ministerpräsident to visit the City-States!
NP Wiefelburg

Ministerpräsident Helmina Scharf has met today Duke Eircthonius III, in the Cyclopeian tri-capital of Naupactus. Mrs Scharf's visit is a "extraordinary" visit. Before leaving for Cyclopeia she stated that "Cyclopeia is the most important player on the regional chessboard. It is normal that Wiefel speaks with it in these times of crisis".

"Cyclopeia and all the City-States has always been friends of Wiefel in the south" says Karl van Borgh, a foreign policy expert, "and the Revolution is an excellent occasion for the government become an partner of them. Sources within the government nonetheless indicate that the government could support - to a certain extent - one of the factions. The same sources believe Ministerpräsident Scharf's trip's main objective is to coordinate this.

Queen Mother of Wiefel dies, aged 77!
NP Wiefelburg

The Queen Mother of Wiefel has died "peacefully" at the age of 77 after suffering a stroke while staying at Schloss Hergotten. Queen Willhelmina, who retired from public speaking in 1952, had suffered poor health for several years. She had been staying at the Schloss Hergotten since being discharged from hospital at the end of last year.
.
Ministerpräsident Scharf called her a "Great Wiefellander" and the King spoke of his sadness at the death of his mother. Queen Willhelmia von Ritz Schubert was owner of Ritz Industries and married King Ludwig II in 1908. She was the first common women to marry a King.

She will not have a state funeral but will be accorded the same status as Kings and Queens. The ceremony, with full military honours, will take place at Wiefel's St Henrich's Cathedral. The royal flag in Schloss Wiefelburg has been lowered to half-mast while the Ministerial Council and the Popular Assembly will be recalled from its recess on Sunday to enable the ministers to pay tributes to the Queen Mother.

The Madai Shahdom, through its representatives wishes to give the sincere condolences of the people and the royal family to the people of Wiefel. The Heidari family mourns the death of Queen Wilhelmina as she was one of the greatest models which started low and became the queen of one of the most important Germanian nations. We are deeply saddened for the death of the queen and we will show our support for the Wiefel royal family and people by lowering the flags of the Madai Embassy in Wiefelburg at half mast.

Ambassador Jahan Kadivar will organize a ceremony at the Embassy to remember the Queen mother and what she represented in the minds of many Madai women who took her as a model in life. For it, the ambassador would like to invite a member of the royal family of Wiefel to hold speech about the late Queen Wilhelmina.

Signed,
on behalf of HIM Dariush V Shahanshah Heidari,
Kaveh Ali Veisi,
Imperial Minister of External Affairs

The High Kingdom of Ivernia would like to express it's sincere condolences on the death of the Queen Mother of Weifel. Willhelmina shall be always remembered as an intelligent, successful and dignified character; as Ministerpräsident Scharf put it so accurately, a true Wiefellander.

The Ivernish Embassy in Weifel shall lay low the High Kingdom's flag and standard to show our shared feeling of grief which surely resonates across the Germanian peoples today.

All of Cyclopeia feels a deep sadness to hear that the Queen Mother of Wiefel has died. Regardless of social or political views all Cyclopeians share the feeling that the death of such an important leader for the people of Wiefel, a nation whose monarchy has helped ensure Cyclopeia's unity and peace using all diplomatic means available to it, is a truly tragic event. The flag of the Cyclopeian embassy shall fly at half a mast.
Most Sincerely Yours,
Theodoros Patrinou tou Lambrou - Provisional Chief of External and Diaspora Affairs

Her Majesty Queen Wilhelmina was a remarkable lady. The Government of Eiffelland expresses its sincerest condolences to the Royal Family of Wiefel, to the Queen-Mother's friends and to the people of Wiefel. The flags at the Eiffellandian embassy in Wiefel will fly half-mast until after the funeral.

Despite the fact that Her Majesty Queen Wilhelmina was already ill, the news of her death shocks us. The Royal Family of Eiffelland expresses its sincerest condolences to His Majesty King Lothar of Wiefel for the loss of his mother, to the Royal Family of Wiefel in general, to the Queen-Mother's friends, and to the people of Wiefel. The flags at all the properties of the Royal Family will fly half-mast until after the funeral.

We are shocked by the news of the death of the grandmother of my wife, Princess Brünhild, and the mother of my father-in-law, His Majesty King Lothar of Wiefel. May Her Majesty Queen-Mother Wilhelmina rest in peace.
