The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is Slavic, at least that is what I heard about it

EDIT: And indeed, I know that there is a Greek province called Macedonia as well. So there is a МАКЕДОНІА and a ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑ.

It is populated full of Slavs, though the Greeks take issue with them calling themselves Macedonians due to it being historically a Greek (kinda. At best it was Hellenistic inspired) region. That's a discussion for another topic though, methinks.

It is one of the few things even people like me who do not care about nationalist crap get offended at. To give you an idea your average Greek would get along fine with a Turk as long as they did not speak of any historic stuff, or they might even agree on soem historic points, but put a Greek and a Skopjan in a room for five seconds and they will have turned the lamp and the chair into weapons and they would fight as if it is the colosseum. I usually prefer to avoid this topic as all civilized discussions on it break down into five year old autistics calling eachother "Gayreek" and "Monkeydonian" for all of eternity after two posts ;) If you ever want a good flamewar though grab some popcorn and type Macedonia is [insert Balkan state name here] in Youtube.

EDIT: Carefully observe specimen discussions.

Turk: There are Turks in Cyprus.
Greek. Agreed. There are Greeks in Cyprus too.
Turk: Agreed. We should both leave Cyprus alone.
Greek: Agreed. Let's go eat ice cream and shit rainbows.

Skopjan: If I may say so, we do live in Macedonia and we have called ourselves Macedonian for at least a century or two.
Greek: Indeed most honourable gentleman, but we have called ourselves Macedonian for centuries and Alexander spoke Greek.
Skopjan: I beg to differ kind sir, they spoke proto-Macedonian. There are many of us on your side of the border who speak its modern form.
Greek: OMG1!1!! Makedon is of 100% pure Greekz.
Skopjan: Nope iz of pure Makedonya! Turkish crap Gayreek!
Greek: Slavic Monkeydonian! I remob u!
Serb: Did anyone say remob? [huge pointless Balkan war starts and genocide happens cause Balkans]

Update :- 19.02.1955

Apologies to Wendziema for the far too long update, I hope you did not give up on your nation.

Also I decided to purge myself, I haven't posted IC or OOC in forever besides to do these map updates and to change some usernames. I'm certain I'll be back eventually, but work and university and personal obligations have kept me from spending what me time I have on RP.

Please change the name Wendziema to Collectivist Union or, if that doesn't fit, UCPR. Thank you!

So instead of Macedonian, my people need to learn Hungarian. *Applies another speed language course*

I recommend Duolingo for your people.

Also @ could I have Dún Midhe as Ivernia's capital, same location!

Can you delete Vas from the map and put Madai on it, west of Sikandara? That, if Xen is ok with it...

The cyan dot is the capital, Astara.

I held off on an update given it was just text updates, but with a pixel update I'll do it on Sunday or soon after. Thank you for patience and patronage.

Thank you for your work, Vitrais.

One remark: It would be better if you put first the year, then the month number and then the day number in the file name, because then the files are really sorted chronologically by name ;) So in this case "2015-04-05.png".

Even better would be the construction "2015-04APR-05.png", because then you keep the advantage of sorting in chronological order and there is no confusion about which number is the month and which number the day ;)

Red dot is where the capital ought to be, named Osfeister. The country itself is known as Bernicia. Hope to fill the void left by Vithrais' absence, and serve as a progenitor state for the Angles. I'm currently working on the factbook, and I expect it to be ready tomorrow morning.

Additionally, could I also receive a small colonial holding in the form of just a single island sort of south-east of Monkecia?

I like the day, month, year system because it's what I've always done for work - but it would not at all be an issue for me to change these so they are easier for the use of the community. I'll do it in the future that way.
