as you seem to like particulars can you add the fourth tiny island of the Parvae arcipelago that went missing in the last updates? You can find it in taley's map, or in my factbook.
In the previous map it was too small but as you used a simpler style for this one it would fit

There are no more vacant map spots within that area of the map, and it was almost an issue, so the inactivity listing was made to address that.

Alright, Mecca shall be added. Just two questions. Shall it be called Mecca - no alternative name etc.? And where? Does anyone have a particular place to propose or am I at liberty to simply place it within that spot?

Since we have an alternative name for both other major Holy Cities, an alternative name would be a good idea. As for the location, it should probably be closer to the East, where most Muslim nations are, somewhat near the coast, but not on it, like the real Mecca. Jurzan's idea for a spot is good, but we could also try something in Varanasi, in his part which looks like the Arab peninsula. Then again, we don't want it to be too far from Jerusalem. Perhaps it could be in [MENTION=1974]Lauenburg[/MENTION]'s colony, with his approval of course. After all, that would explain the religious tension in the colony, since the Mecca would be held by "infidels".

I really like that idea and I approve. perhaps the Mosque I was going to knock down could've been one of the most important mosques.

Also ive made my decision on Varanasi, go ahead and green it; though could you keep Toungoo and switch it from a Varanasi Protectorate to a Huaxian Protectorate. Also instead of merging Huaxia and Toungoo, could you keep showing it as an independent state, since it will nominally be independent with huaxian officials pulling the strings. I plan on Toungoo to make many shenanigans in the empire.

For now, please do something like this:

Please take artistic liberty in designing the actual spot to make it look nice and try to keep the coastline as small as possible, the idea is to not really be a nation that is big into a maritime tradition. Instead of merging it completely you could also give me a part of the eastern shore side of Varanasi and make the rift between the two parts really tiny, if you think that would look cooler, and we can then see how that looks and feels.

If my neighbors and me decide that I would be better situated to the West, I'll update you.

Yes, I wanted to tweak that line of islands to make it less unnatural looking, but seeing as it would involve three other players, I resigned to simply adding very small insignificant islands. I've done it in various other places on the map too.

It looks quite fine, how much work would it be to add it like this to the map for now and request a change later on once I have had more time to think about geography etc? Just for purposes of being locatable on the map for now and such.

Well, that spot is on the map file now, I just haven't done anymore editing in the case of a different direction. But that is fine, especially as I am greening Varanasi. It is only tedious if I am changing things between two players, as opposed to a player and green space.
