a LETTER of ADDRESS by the LORD GUARANTOR of the​

ENGELLEXIAN THAUMANTIC COMPANY​

In the BOARD of GUARANTORS of the COMPANY ASSEMBLED the LORD GUARANTOR ADDRESS,

The Board of Guarantors of the Engellexic Thaumantic Company has been moved to commit the forces of the Elephant Admiralty - and similarly the Engell-Himyar Trading Company is also moved with respect to those of the Henrietta Admiralty - to the North Thaumantic Ocean Area for a number of reasons which we believe the continued independence, with freedoms and liberties contained within, and prosperity of the Thaumantic Ocean Area will be placed at great risk and hazard if not challenged so forcefully.

The first is to defend the immediate interests of the Engellexic Thaumantic Company, those of the Engell-Himyar Trading Company, and wider Engellexian Republic, from motivated and hostile Competitors. The second ss to deter Gallian imperial Powers from pursuing their military and ideological adventures further in Echidna and the Thaumantic Ocean Area. The EHTC has committed their forces with the same intentions. These two objectives of defence and deterrence cannot be achieved without military action, it is an unfortunate circumstance, and one that is most certainly not desired.

There is no better chance than today of fashioning a really independent system of security for the Thaumantic Ocean Area than at any time this century.

The ETC and the EHTC has to consider the most effective deployment of two Marine Expeditionary Brigades and two Marive Divisions, along with the associated and necessary equipment and supplies. It was recognised that the territory of Arthalan boasts a particular geographical position that would be of great benefit to the mobilisation and execution of military operations by the ETC and the EHTC in the area.

It is hoped an agreement can be found to facilitate this requirement for the progress and hopeful attainment of permanent regional peace.

Classified Communique to the Engellexian Thuamantic Company

We are quite concerned with the threat that the Gallian powers, their Satellite States provide to expand the brewing continental war to Echidna and the Thaumantic disrupting the livelihoods and safety of the people of our countries. However, we cannot abide by allowing the ETC and thus SoCRER to use our land to launch this assault and thus potentially drag us into a war, without effective compensation.

An agreement to provide Arthalan a portion of the captured territory (and thus allow Warre to finally control one half of the Gulf of Echnida), thereby providing safety to the region and our populace, as well as 50% ownership of one half of the Oil Fields within the targeted territory to make up for the economic losses that such a war, small scale or otherwise could bring to Arthalan and to the Warreic High Kingdom as a whole.
