It might seem a bit silly to recruit within our own region, and telegram folks, but let me say to both the oldies, the regulars, and those who are new who might've shown up here, we view it as a way to both engage our neighbors in discourse, and help answer any questions they might have. I know I've had plenty of friends who haven't known exactly 'where' to begin on NSE, and if they didn't have a friend to help them along they might have not ever gotten it at all. So, I'm here to say if you need my help, I'm here, a person to listen to ideas, I'm here, though I admit sometimes I'm a bit blunt if I think something is stupid.

But ultimately, one thing we really should have some discourse on is what is the best way to get our region engaged? Europe is the 18th largest region in the Nationstates game, and boasts a stunning 542 nations in its area, yet the off-site forums? Not so much. We have perhaps one twentieth of that, and many of our members have retired from nationstates from the lack of connections that might be formed on it. The first step to a connection for any of us though, and to get roleplay going, is to know how to get people engaged. If you have a friend, maybe you want to bring them to europe-game.eu, but aren't exactly sure how? Here's an example of the telegram I use when I'm talking to our neighbors and potential friends in nationstates.

Hello, fellow Nationstates European! We're glad to have you in the region, and glad to have you posting on the RMB, but as you may have noticed we also have an off-site forums, where regional activities can be coordinated, interesting people met, and if you're interested in nation-based roleplay (or as it might be best called, nation-based collaborative writing), we've got a great scenario and setting in the offsite forums, with interesting nations to sink your mind into learning about.

As well as these nations and collaborative writing, we have an engaging community and you might find yourself valuing your status as a nationstates european all the more after checking out the offsite forums! While there's a link already in the regional message boards, I'll give you it here as well!
