Port Fiona, Alba Shipyards - Alba Corporation launches two new icebreakers destined for arctic exploration.

After two years of construction the Alba shipyards have launched their newest most advance icebreakers. In cooperation with Weylin-Teagan Steel and limited government subsidies the institution of oceanic studies was able to gain the funds to purchase the icebreakers which they intend to use for a scientific exploration trip to the north pole. The president and lead scientist of the institution where there to see the ships launched from drydock and will partake in a shakedown cruise to test vital ship systems over the next few days.

The ships named Pelagic and Pelagic II, greek for any water in a sea or lake that is not near the shore of land,will set off for one of the Oceanic Institutes biggest missions ever with goals such as cataloging potentially unknown arctic species of sea life, microscopic life, mapping of ice flows and the sea floor.

Bangleann, Capitol Building - Protesters gather outside capitol building to protest pollution in industrial cities.

A small gathering of protesters gathered outside of the capitol building to protest the lax pollution regulations of the government. Police forces wary of environmental terrorism of the past gathered outside in full riot gear in front of the building despite the small amount of people protesting. Despite angry words for companies such as Weylin-Teagan and Marion Drive Systems the protests stayed peaceful and after several hours disbanded on their own after temperatures dropped as the day went on.

Bangleann, Office of Federal Communications Agency - Radical environmentalist manifesto posted on the Internet.

A manifesto written in the eighty's that was circulated amongst illegal eco-terrorist militia groups has resurfaced on the Internet last night along with new global objectives for all potential eco-terrorists. Amongst the new orders were plans for bombings of the new recently launched icebreakers Pelagic and Pelagic II, saying that the Oceanic institutes goal for arctic exploration is nothing but a way for Bantyric corporations to exploit untouched ecosystems. Also included were lists of deep sea oil rigs and several coal fired power plants along with schematics for two plants in the north. Police and local government sponsored militia groups have been deployed to locations on the list in hopes that should anything be acted upon in the manifesto, they will be able to stop it before it happens.

Defense Minister Rory Carroll ordered the Federal Communications Agency to shutdown the site and remove all iterations of it from networks under their control. When asked about the manifesto he was quoted saying: "This is the same kind of terroristic rhetoric that caused the Weylin-Teagan Coke plant #5 disaster back in '85."

The Defense Minister was referring to the bombing in Redruth that killed over two thousand people as a black cloud spread out from the disaster site over the city in 1985. In that case technical schematics of the plant were stolen and used to deal the most damage in the attack. The terrorist militia Clear Sky claimed responsibility which resulted in a government led bloodbath of most of Clear Sky's members.

Potential economic deal with Denisova.

After the government passed a bill allowing for outside international expansion of Bantyric companies the nation of Denisova currently planning for a massive economic revival of it's nation has entered into talks with several Bantyic companies such as the Weylin-Teagan Corporation, Alainnburgh Plate Glass, Kerr Manufacturing Group, Banco Metals, McTavish Mining and Minerals, Beatty Construction Supply and Atris Electronics.

Denisova a communist country with many raw materials that have yet to be tapped into is looking to capitalistic countries to learn and use them to increase their economic capabilities and the living standard of their people. A Denisovan government organization will have 51% ownership in the facilities and operations that will be built and expanded by Bantyric companies while 49% will be owned by the respective companies themselves. The plan calls for a 15 year partnership between the Denisovan government and the companies and after 15 years (or more should it be agreed upon) the shares will be bought out by the government and additional compensation will be provided for helping expand the Denisovan economy.

The companies are said to be currently thinking over the offer and shall report when a decision has been made.

Keeping in mind that what has been publicly told off the Denisovan program of economic action, the likely implication appears to be that the Communist state is using foreign resources to carry out its aims that will be, by the very least, highly unconductive to regional security and the status of Communism in our world. Furthermore, we note that in a state already not known for its respect to the sanctity of private property, the Bantyrian investments will be at a high peril. To that effect, we would like to open negotiations between our two respective governments in Karelingrad to discuss means with which the Union would be able to cultivate a more plural and mutually beneficial trade relationship.

Bantyr vows to join the Warreic in trade embargo.

"They are our brothers and sisters in spirit and blood," says President Malcom Murdoch on Bantyr's relationship with the Warreic people. Tensions between Batavie and Warre heat up as a dispute over an island named Caorachstyr continues between the two nations with the recent Batavian deployment of two naval destroyers near the island chain. The Batavian and Warreic people both lay claim to the island but the Warreic currently have administrative and military control over the island chain. The President likened the deployment of the destroyers by Batavie to foolish bullying and threatened that further action could only spell disaster. The President put forth a bill in the Senate to vote on whether or not Bantyr would follow The Kingdom of Warre in an embargo of Batavian goods. The bill has currently been put aside until news of a decision comes out of the Warreic's Council of Lords.

Pelagic and Pelagic II return from shakedown cruise.

The Institute of Oceanic studies returned with news of a successful shakedown cruise of both icebreakers. Both ships are top of the line icebreakers from Alba Shipyards and are scheduled for a research trip to the north pole within the next week. The Institute has said it is now packing the ships for the two month long trip and is currently checking the superstructures for any potential problems as both ships will go in on their own without a support fleet. A crowd of people welcomed as the ships sailed back into the harbor at Port Fiona.

Elements of the First Fleet steam to Caorachstyr.

Carrier Strike Group one is deployed with Destroyer Squadron's two and five to join the Warreic Royal Navy in a war game just off the Caorachstyr Island chain. The aircraft carrier BRN Dál Riata, flagship of the strike group, will lead the Bantyric side in the war game. Rear Admiral Roger Locke expressed his excitement at the oppurtunity to test the Bantyric Navy's mettle against an opponent even if it is only simulated combat.

Fleet Arrives In Caorachstyr - The BRN Dál Riata and her strike group have arrived for joint exercises with the Warreic Navy. The exercises are scheduled to start within a few days, exact dates have been kept secret.

Senate Overwhelmingly Votes Yes - The senate voted overwhelmingly yes to placing an embargo on all Batavian goods shipped into Bantyr in a show of solidarity with our Warreic allies after tensions over island holdings rose last week.

The Right Honourable The Secretary of State has received the Command of Her Engellexic Majesty The Queen to make known the following gracious Statement of Her Engellexic Majesty to the Princes, the Chiefs and the People of Bantyr.​

Extension of The Queen's Statement in Council.​

TO THE PRINCES AND CHIEFS OF THE BANTYR​

It is to be expressed, upon instruction of Her Engellexic Majesty;

While, NO application had been made to Her Engellexic Majesty’s Government to take steps in concert with the regional Powers to constrain the efforts to legislate an economic embargo against the Republic of Batavie, but the Chancellor of the Chambers of Commerce of Great Engellex and the Consortium of Engellexic Merchant Shipping had addressed a communication to Her Engellexic Majesty’s Government, and with particular interest to, the President of the Public Board of Trade, on the subject; a meeting of the referred had also taken place and communicated with the Northern Department.

The justification for the economic embargos has been considered, but at present Great Engellex is not prepared to express an opinion upon it.

It is true that the subjects of the Warreic and Bantyric Governments had advanced claims against the Republic of Batavie over Windhoek, and that Her Engellexic Majesty’s Government has been compelled to invite a delegation from Warre and Bantyr to act in concert with Great Engellex in pressing for a settlement of the claims of Caorachstyr upon the Batavie Government, but we are not prepared to express an opinion or take action in this matter, as of yet.

The slight against the Celtic people perpetrated by the Batavians requires action, Bantyr has chosen a peaceful one rather than bring about a military conflict. Support by the Suionian government is not required for decision making in sovereign Bantyric actions. Bangleann advises Drottninggården to tighten their leash over their fellow Northern Council members. Batavie initiated this slight against the Celtic peoples by positioning it's destroyers near Warreic held territory which has had it's own negative effect on both Warreic and Bantyric shipping lanes. No commercial captain wants to use an international trade route that is currently occupied by warships obviously placed to cause trouble on an international scale. Your concerns have been noted on official record, the ruling shall stand as long as the Bantyric government has the support of it's people on this matter.

Fleet Officials Gain Support To Stay - After a meeting in the senate over whether the carrier group sent to Aresurai should be withdrawn per request put forward by the cease fire agreement, the Senate decided against it after Fleet Officials protested the idea of leaving now in this critical moment.

"The PASILA fleets have yet to leave and so therefore we shall stay with our Warreic brothers who have also decided to stay and make sure the so called democracy protectors do not interfere with the reconstruction process of the Aresurai government. Only when the fleets from PASILA withdraw will we even consider the request."

For now the carrier group stays, the affect of this decisions has yet to be seen and we pray that it stays as a peaceful stand off for the time being.

Murdoch Returns From Hunting Trip- Malcolm Murdoch has returned from his annual polar bear hunting trip with his son with a kill count of at least three bears. He plans to use the skins as decorative carpets in his home and presidential office. Animal rights activists protested outside President Murdoch's home, Murdoch responded by hanging one of the carcasses outside on the roof overhanging his porch.

Defense Council Approves New Fleet- The Navy's budget for construction of a new fleet has been approved with unanimous support as both the First and Second fleets find themselves juggling different tasks as Murdoch continues his plan to project power over the north. Shipyards across the southern shores find themselves with labor shortages following the new approval. Weylin-Teagan Steel Corp's stock jumps up several percentage points at the news of ship construction. Shipbuilder's Unions rejoice at abundance of work.

Bangleann Bank Robber Killed- After a notorious bank robber stole five million Banc police tracked down and killed the criminal in a hail of gunfire after he refused to stand down. The money was returned to the bank.
