Well, the way it worked was there was a world political map, each continent was clickable, or at least the more popular ones as making the continent maps were tiresome. When you clicked on a continent, it showed the geographic map of that continent, and red lines indicated national borders and red stars were capitals. They did this because geography was for whatever reason always an issue, people claimed massive mountain ranges complete with snowy tundras when their neighbor RPed barren deserts.

The continent maps included rivers, forests, and mountains so all that stuff could never be debated. You then designed your national map based off of what the continent map showed. They were nice to have, but they were essential in my old RP, here I haven't seen problems like that come up and our continents are significantly larger than in my old RP, so the maps would be incredibly tedious to make, that's why I just ignored them and suggested national maps.

I figured it couldn't be done, but hey I'd figure I'd say something.

we did have that like 6 or more years ago because we had a graphics genius with a program that allowed it, but alas that many has not returned to try and do it again for this scenario.

Not to clutter the app thread, but why not just merge the two? It'd look much nicer.

Hmm, I disagree. I'd rather not merge the two, I don't think it'd really fit with the ideas behind my nation either.

Hmm... I'm not sure how that would impact the RP idea, but I'd at least disagree with pushing it into the ocean to make it an island. I'm not sure I like putting a small straight in there either, but hell it's an awkward peninsula to begin with.

Incorporating H4 into H5 would make my spot massive, and kinda ugly in my opinion, and I do not see Frescania historically giving such a huge area to a bunch of former slaves.

Administration Ruling: Holdings of Suionia

A few people may have noticed that Coro no longer RPs Suionia or Gotarike, or the colonies related to that primary nation. This thread is not about why that is, it is about the holdings themselves in a situation where the Suionia account is banned and incapable of playing the primary nation or its colonies.

The ruling is as follows:

In consideration of the comprehensive suspension of Gotarike and related accounts, the player Coro can no longer play this nation or its colonies. To preserve the active RP of Frescania and Engellex in Bantyr, the core nation of Suionia will be maintained on the map as a NPC - moderated if necessary when a conflict of interest arises.

The Suionian Colonies of Fjalldrotting, Kronprinsessan Elsa Land, Drotting Ulrika Land, Nya Gastrike-Halsinge, Nya Vastergotland, Suionian Green Islands, Skarabost and Skarsgard are being greened. These colonies do not have an active external storyline, and will not dramatically effect an active nation's ability to roleplay if they no longer exist.

Coro indicated that he knew this was coming, and perhaps even that he supported it. Playing Monterrey - I understand that he wants to apply for another colony in the immediate future, so clearing these old and impotent colonies that technically belong to him may make that process easier.

Moderating on this forum is not as efficient as it could be - this single decision took well over a month, and yielded the opinion of only one moderator, one supermoderator, and no administrators. If Coro does not in fact support this ruling, and wants to challenge it, then I'd be very open to spending more time and garnering more than two mod opinions on this issue.

I have no complaints. That said, I would like to help with input if "conflict" arises in the event of the core region. Just covering the bases, as I do have a slight attachment to that old nation. :p

You requested the neighbouring map spot be turned to an island, so that is what I did. :eh?:

I must say that the most recent map update looks even better than before! Keep up the good work, Engellex!

Sorry, posted this before I saw the map update. Would it maybe be possible to move the island further away from my coast..? Thanks. And I agree with Perk, the map is looking fantastic.
