TWEANTSE NASJONAALTOAFEL
TNT Europe – International edition of The Tablet

The Tweantse Nasjonaaltoafel(TNT), literally Twentish National Tablet, was commissioned in 1845 as a weekly national newspaper for all parishioners of the Saxon Catholic Church. In 1895 it was nationalized and since then it has become the only national media outlet of Twente. Early 1925 De Toafel(The Tablet), as the paper is called by its readers, became the only national radio broadcaster. Toafelradio (Tablet Radio) the radio branch is called, even though the station’s real name is TNT Radio. On three channels it airs religious registrations and lectures of the Archbishop (1), news and sports (2) and traditional and classical music from Twente (3).

TNT Europe is established to serve a broader crowd internationally. Citizens abroad and all parties interested may appreciate a selection of what The Tablet has to offer AND press statements of the Archbishopric government. All approved by the Saxon Catholic Church.

TNT Europe: Government statement in reaction to the confusion in the Belmont Republic concerning the pilgrimage visa, as published in the Tweantse Nasjonaaltoafel on March 15.

Pilgrimage Visa

His Excellency Pierre Plantard, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belmont, is currently in Twente on a pilgrimage to Wittevene, the bog of St. Wittekind. Like any Catholic can, Mr. Plantard requested a pilgrimage visa. He was accepted and welcomed into Twente on the conditions of that visa.
Pilgrims arriving in the capital city Hoksebarge, will travel in groups by foot to the pilgrimage site accompanied by a team of guides. The group of Mr. Plantard is following the Horse Shoe route, marking the path from Hoksebarge to Wittevene. On their way they will be able to visit many places; beside the lush nature, there is a shrine at every street corner, chapels every few blocks and churches of all sizes in every town and city, including the cathedrals in any diocese the group passes through. It is not possible to leave the pilgrimage group and its guides, the pace is set by the pilgrims themselves.

Wittevene is the bog in which God spoke to St. Wittekind, he entered on a black horse and returned on a white steed, the Saxon Steed, as the first Saxon Catholic entrusted and ordered by God to spread His Word and baptize all Saxons. Wittevene marks the birth of both the secular state of Twente and the Saxon Catholic Church.
Traditionally pilgrims will take some of the ashes of the Easter fire that is lit every year in the bog, it is the largest in Twente and the world.

To also visit Twente on a pilgrimage, file a request at an embassy, consulate or Saxon Catholic church near you.

Also Eiffelland respects the duty of the Saxon Catholics to perform pilgrimage in Twente. We will give full cooperation to any Eiffellandian Saxon Catholic to apply for the needed visa and travel to Twente as pilgrims.

TNT Europe: "Ascension Day Mass in Wittevene to be visited by record number of pilgrims," as published in the Tweantse Nasjonaaltoafel on May 28.

Ascension Day Mass in Wittevene to be visited by record number of pilgrims

Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord brings Europe together

Pilgrims from 24 countries will join this year’s open-air Ascension Day mass in the bog of Wittevene lead by Archbishop Janman. Msgr Mentink of the Congregation of St. Kristoffel indicated that over 300.000 visas have been granted for the event. The pilgrims will join an estimated 2 to 3 million Tubantians. Twentish families will invite pilgrims to join them at the traditional picnic in the bog.

The extensive stay of now former foreign minister Pierre Plantard of the Belmont Republic, has caused some minor consternation in his home country. The political climate has recently shifted and the newly formed Belmont government eagerly awaits his return as he is of pivotal importance in an operation to fight the rampant Belmont corruption. Mr. Plantard, who is in Twente on a pilgrimage, will be present at tomorrow’s Ascension Day mass in the Wittevene bog. It remains unknown if he will return to Belmont after Thursday. The Congregation of St. Kristoffel (secretariat of visas, travel licenses and pilgrimage affairs) does not disclose information on applications, but it is possible Plantard’s stay will be extended.

Premier Martinique intends to visit Twente in the near future. The newly installed female liberal official has however struck an aggressive note toward the Archbishopric. Martinique also left the Christian Democratic party, that receives support from the Archbishop of Villesen, out of her coalition. The Archcongregation and the Secretariat of State do not respond to affairs in a foreign parliaments.

SAXON APOSTOLIC LETTER

ISSUED ZÖLF E SCHREEVN

OF THE METROPOLITAN ARCHBISHOP OF HOKSEBARGE

NIKODEMUS HENDRIKUS JANMAN

ON THE JURISDICTION OF THE

JUDICIAL AUTHORITIES OF SAXON ARCHBISHOPRIC TWENTE

IN CRIMINAL MATTERS

In our times, the common good is increasingly threatened by transnational organized crime, the improper use of the markets and of the economy, as well as by terrorism.

It is therefore necessary for the international community to adopt adequate legal instruments to prevent and counter criminal activities, by promoting international judicial cooperation on criminal matters.

In ratifying numerous international conventions in these areas, and acting also on behalf of Saxon Archbishopric Twente, the Saxon See has constantly maintained that such agreements are effective means to prevent criminal activities that threaten human dignity, the common good and peace.

With a view to renewing the Saxon Apostolic See’s commitment to cooperate to these ends, by means of this Saxon Apostolic Letter issued Zölf e Schreevn, I establish that:

1. The competent Judicial Authorities of Saxon Archbishopric Twente shall also exercise penal jurisdiction over:

a) crimes committed against the security, the fundamental interests or the patrimony of the Saxon See;

b) crimes referred to:
- in Book VI 1-2, of the Lambertsgesett, containing Supplementary Norms on Criminal Law Matters;
- in Book VII 3-4, of the Lambertsgesett, containing Amendments to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code;

c) any other crime whose prosecution is required by an international agreement ratified by the Saxon See, if the perpetrator is physically present in the territory of Saxon Archbishopric Twente and has not been extradited.

2. The crimes referred to in paragraph 1 are to be judged pursuant to the criminal law in force in Saxon Archbishopric Twente at the time of their commission, without prejudice to the general principles of the legal system on the temporal application of criminal laws.

3. The jurisdiction referred to in paragraph 1 comprises also the administrative liability of juridical persons arising from crimes, as regulated by Saxon Archbishopric Twente laws.

4. When the same matters are prosecuted in other States, the provisions in force in Saxon Archbishopric Twente on concurrent jurisdiction shall apply.

This I decide and establish, anything to the contrary notwithstanding.

I establish that this Saxon Apostolic Letter issued Zölf e Schreevn will be promulgated by its publication in the Tweantse Nasjonaaltoafel, entering into force on 2 September 1954.

Given in Hoksebarge, at the Saxon Apostolic Palace, on 1 September 1954, the seventy-second of my missiereize.

Nikodemus H. Janman, D.D.
In gedachtenisse

Pierre Plantard

Ik bin in Diene Hand, o Heer!
Doe löts mie lös - Doe grips mie weer!
Doe löts mie gaon - Doe zets mie stil.

Pierre Plantard, who has died aged 42, was a Belmontien foreign minister and ardent Saxon Catholic whose backroom negotiating skills helped keep his country together during its greatest trials. Plantard wrenched compromise from Belmont 's intractable quandaries, including rampant corruption and countless wrangles between its bickering French and German-speaking communities.

Plantard's term in office ended abruptly when, while visiting Twente on Easter Pilgrimage, his home country was overtaken by anarcho-capitalists seeking material self-enrichment and to expunge the Peace of Christ. This motivated Plantard to devote much of his energy to strive for the emancipation and equality of Catholics of all Rites currently being suppressed by secular governments. On his name day, June 29th, Plantard was granted the Tubantian nationality by Archbishop Janman, allowing him to start working as a special emissary for the Secretariat of State.

With his passing, Pierre Plantard can not continue is God instilled purpose. His earthly remains will return to his family in Belmont.

May God rest his soul and speed him to Heaven

TNT Europe: "Congregation of St. Jooris announces National Service to shift focus," as published in the Tweantse Nasjonaaltoafel on October 21.

CONGREGATION OF ST JOORUS ANNOUNCES PUBLIC SERVICE TO SHIFT FOCUS

CONSCRIPTS WILL START WITH MILITARY TRAINING BEFORE BEGINNING CIVIC DUTIES

When the Secretariat of Public Service at the Congregation of St. Vincent transferred its drafting function to the Congregation of St. Jooris, of the re-established Secretariat of Defense against War and Terror, a major reform in its purpose was expected. Today mgr. Scholten, präfekt of the congregation, announced that all newly conscripted men will start their public service in the military. The first two years will compulsorily be spent in one of the branches of the defense forces, whereas the last two years will, as before, be in service of the people in the Archbishopric under God.
On the same day, mgr. Extercate, präfekt of the Congregation of St. Vincent, announced that in the last two years of public service, a new program will be introduced. In close cooperation with the Tweantse Agraries Autowaagns Bedrief (TAAB - Twentish Agricultural Car Company) and the Drienerwoold University, conscript may be assigned to the “development and fructification”-program. In this program conscripts will co-develop and produce materials with defensive purposes. The Archcongregation is currently in the process of acquiring the necessary resources to jumpstart the program.
