@rsaavedraOs avisamos... "We warn you..." an open letter signed by the nation's leading intelectuals and NGOs raise the alarm on the return of organised crime, mafia groups cartels and corruption in Corrientes. The letter warns of the rise of drug and human trafficking cases which were reported and calls them only the tip of the iceberg, which has grown exponentially in size in the past months. The letter has also mentioned a rumour that started to travel around about a potential drug cartel funding of the failed coup d'etat nearly 2 months ago, drawing parallels with the 1984 coup, which was dubbed the Narco Coup, for being organised hand in hand by the military with crime groups. The death of goalkeeper Fabio Gomez is touched upon too, with more and more information coming out with the assassination being a consequences of large sums of money lost in gambling by gang leaders. #ElEspectador #WesternJournalism
