WIESERREICHISCHE WELLE
Aus der Mitte Germaniens
The Wieserreichische Welle is a Wieser state radio and television broadcasting corporation owned entirely by the Imperial Wieserreicher Government. Despite its nationalised nature, it has a strongly independent history of news reporting. Wieserreichische Welle was founded as a state radio station in 1942, expanding into the realm of television in the 1970's with the forced acquisition of two other state broadcasters. Wieserreichische Welle broadcasts in the radio waves as Wieserreichische Welle - Radio Augsburg, and television waves as Wieserreichische Welle 1 and Wieserreichische Welle 2. A satellite-based, global broadcast channel also exists, under the name WW Welt. All programmes are currently held in German language, however Wieserreichische Welle - Radio Augsburg also broadcasts at certain times of the day in Arnen, English, French, Danish and Oikawan. Internet service is available in all major European languages at Wieserreichische Welle's website
