Prime Minister Urges a Two State Solution (i Engelsk)

LITLIKAUPANGR— In Parliamentary session in Noregerike, Prime Minister Ingrid Kristiansen urged that the Government of Tyskreich support the call for a two state solution in the Germanic Freestate (Freiheit), in order to help cease hostilities between the ethnic Germans and ethnic Otchi.

Before the Noregerike Parliament (Riksdagen) she stated, "The Otchi have a right to the land they live on and since they cannot be afforded the same rights as other citizens it is clear that divorce is the only option for this nation."

While the Riksdagen is unable to actually formulate official international policy it is allowed to petition Parliament in Hertha for action to be taken on various issues. It is unclear how much the Tysk Government will work with with Riksdags petition with the current Chancellor Rilke-Schrödinger being absolutely stubborn in all facets of his personality and policies.

Despite this the Riksdagen's petition will have to be debated in Parliament within the week, and Prime Minister Kristiansen hopes that it will receive some international coverage.

"The Otchi people are suffering and the international community is just offering them immigration status. This is unacceptable. The Otchi do not want to leave their homes. They want their homes to be safe. This can only be done with self-determination and a separate nation state since time and time again, Freiheit has failed to protect the Otchi and their God-given rights as human beings."

The Riksdagen has agreed in principle to send aid and supplies to the Otchi if they can be assured that these supplies would reach them. As it stands the Riksdagen does not believe they would.

Prime Minister Kristiansen further stipulated in her closing remarks, "The Germanic Freestate has been nothing more than a thorn in the side of the international community as of recent. Nuclear weaponry, aggressive policies, and now the plight of the Otchi. I pray that the Council of Nations will take action on this, and I believe they will. The Council of Nations for it's faults characteristically has come through in these sort of situations and with one veto seat vacant, this should expedite the passage of any emergency resolution should push come to shove."

Opinions of the Council of Nations are generally higher in Noregerike than Tyskreich by a meager 5-10%.

This news thread is to show differences via news between Noregerike and Tyskreich. Consider this Scotland to England in terms of relations when looking at it through a RL telescope. However, there are differences that will be elaborated as time goes on.
